almost like a new Panchasheel for the new
millennium.

• She represents excellence, morality, equality not in material
terms but as a living culture symbol practicing these values.

• Only 65.46% of the Indian women are literate and 60% of
primary school dropouts are girls.
• Human Development Report 1994 had said,” No country treats
its women as well as its men”.
• The emergence of information technology will play a great role
with education reaching the home now.
