Test shots

  1. 1. Production _ F «fl ) W
  2. 2. Setting 1 — Police Station the police station was picked as the start ofthe trailer because there needs to be a setting that tells the story of what happened to the stalker at the beginning, and to show the audience that he is obviously dangerous as he was Imprisoned. The police station was the first idea to use for legal reasons as there may be issues with taking videos or pictures in front ofthe court house in case you require a pass or permission to do so. The location ofthe police station is a good idea as the setting is dark and old because ofthe state ofthe building and that it was build before 2000 and had poor maintenance, making it look older and more believable for the audience the think it was shot in the past.
  3. 3. Setting 2 — Front ofthe School The school was chosen as the main area of which the stalking is seen to have started. This is because there is a big fear that paedophiles and creeps stalk children from the front ofthe schools, meaning that there is a genuine fear and that it could be a s simple as over looking the acts. This then adds more realism to the trailer and movie. As the school is also a new building it emphasises the changes the times from when the stalker enters the police station and when he is released.
  4. 4. Setting 3 - Jacks Drive The setting ofJacks drive is to connote that her parents are leaving, this is important to take note in that the scene of where the protagonists parents are leaving as this is when she is left alone and vulnerable. It also shows the audience that the house is pretty much isolated bar the main road of which is usually not busy. This would add to the atmosphere of the setting and that the start ofthe true stalking that she notices will take effect.
  5. 5. Setting 4 — Jacks house Jacks house was chosen as the prime location for most of the shooting for the trailer as his house is what is conventional for a horror movie as it is a village house that is secluded from any major town or city for miles. This also works to our advantage in the sense that we will have little disruption during the filming of the trailer. Jacks house also has the conventional lighting of the horror genre which can be controlled using light dimmers and flood lights outside.
