2. A study to assess the accuracy, efficiency
and quality of data based registry.
3. Registries are the most efficient way to do
quality improvement for collecting data and
analyzing it.
A vast amount of data can now be processed
and analyzed quickly through the computers.
5. To assess the accuracy of data based
registry.
To assess the quality and effectiveness of
data based registry.
6. Research approach: Quantitative
Research design: Retrospective study
Setting: Dr. R. P Centre
Duration of data collection : 1 month
Source of data collected : Medical Record

11. The study has found a discrepancy in the manual data
base registry. A difference of 83, 16 and 26 was
found in cataract, glaucoma and retinal
detachment patients respectively. Hence the study
has shown that the online data based registry is
more accurate and specific.
12. Data based registry plays a major role in
better management of records and in
collecting accurate, straightforward and
transparent data.
Data based registry decreases the workload,
saves time and cost and also facilitates
research in a better way.
