THE SWEET SPOT
• It is wh ere th e g reatest exp ression of p ower an d
p otential is fou n d .
• The power that is released when you “FIND THE VO ICE ”
as an in d ivid u al, a team an d organ ization .
• Th e d ifferen c e b etween wh at we are d oin g an d wh at we
are cap ab le of d oin g will solve most of th e world s
p rob lem.
•W h en you are in sp ired by some g reat p u rp ose all you r
th ou g hts b reaks th eir b ou n d
•Th e h istor y of free man is n ever written by c h an c e b u t by
c h oic e
• O u r reason for b ein g is someth in g mu c h more intimately
u n ited with fellow h u man s, in d eed , we are on e with all in
th e c reative love of ou r h eaven ly fath er.
THE SWEET SPOT
• I have responded to Gods invitation to dwell with in, with hearts
filled with peace and joy. Because such life has so much meaning to
it.
• To lead a life contrary to such pseudo-life
• To protest, to stand in judgment upon the world.
• To leave the world for the sake of the world.
• To stands in judgment of that world not to damn it but to save it.
• To make the best possible contribution to his society by not
becoming lost in it.
• To separates himself from men not to alienate himself from them
but rather to seek a condition in which he can discover God
THE SWEET SPOT
•Wisdom denotes the best ends by pursuing the best means.
•All organizations are perfectly aligned to get all the results they get.
•We must become the change we seek in the world.
•The Best Key question is, what is the best thing I can do under these
circumstances ?
Why ?
Being Effective as an individual and organization is no longer optional in
today's world, - Its just the price of entry to the playing field.
Surviving, thriving, innovating excelling and leading in this new reality
requires us to build on and reach beyond effectiveness.
THE CALL OF THIS NEW ERA is FOR GREATNESS :
• Its for fulfillment
• Passionate execution
• Significant contribution
Think with the end in mind.
With the way we do things at present :
4 are the well travelled
road of mediocrity
1 Road to GREATNESS
Personal Greatness
• The brain said, I'm the smartest organ of the body, The heart said,”
who told you.
• When we look through the lens of each others weakness, we make
others strength irrelevant, and their weakness evident.
• All that is necessary for the triumph of evil; is for the good man to
do nothing
• To know and not to do is not really to know
• Draw this one… Between stimulus and response there is a space, In
that space lies our freedom and power to choose our response, in
those choices lie our growth and our happiness.
If Jesus Christ was in my place what
would he do ?
In the light of my experience
The unconsciousness
The Motivation:As a teacher:
In serving others:
Now :
Perhaps: a certificate of appreciation from:
The OLP- Trappist Abbey
Are we doing the right thing ? Or just do
things right ?
Taxes :
Wages : - Take Home pay. Does it
improve the quality of life or promote
wellbeing ?
Work : - Does it promote good culture ?
Environment: - Safeguards the
environment for the next generation ?
Stewardship
•The word, stewardship, simply means to manage someone else's property. For
the Christian, as Scripture proclaims everything belongs to God.
•We manage the property of our Lord. Since everything belongs to Christ, we need
to have the attitude and view that our things are His things, our stuff is His stuff,
that all we could have now, all we have lost, all we will have, is His, including our
very bodies and spiritual gifts.
•That means all that we are and all that we have are not really ours to begin with.
They belong to God. So, the duty of the Christian is to learn how to become
responsible stewards of our Lord's resources entrusted into our care. It means to
manage ever

The materialism of
the western
culture :
Guided with the Ubunto
Philosophy
The Ubunto Philosophy
• Archbishop Desmond Tutu offered a definition in a 1999 book:[9]
• A person with Ubuntu is open and available to others, affirming of
others, does not feel threatened that others are able and good,
based from a proper self-assurance that comes from knowing that
he or she belongs in a greater whole and is diminished when others
are humiliated or diminished, when others are tortured or
oppressed.
EITHER WAYS :
I AM COMFORTABLE
WITH THE TECHNOLOGY
---
THE QUESTION IS THE
COST.
Which is beneficial for
the trappist ?
If Jesus was in my place,
how would he decide ?
What's next ?
