originated in China or by Chinese artists.
Early so-called "stone age art" dates back
to 10,000 BC, mostly consisting of simple
pottery and sculptures.
This early period was followed by a series
of art dynasties, most of which lasted
several hundred years.

Jin Dynasty.
Her well-known works include

19. Gu Kaizhi
is a celebrated painter of ancient China born in
Wuxi.
He wrote three books about painting theory:
On Painting ( 画论 ),
Introduction of Famous Paintings of Wei and
Jin Dynasties ( 魏晋胜流画赞 )
Painting Yuntai Mountain ( 画云台山记 ).
He wrote, "In figure paintings the clothes and the
appearances were not very important. The eyes
were the spirit and the decisive factor."
20. Three of Gu's paintings still survive today. They are
"Admonitions of the Instructress to the Court
Ladies", "Nymph of the Luo River" ( 洛神赋 ), and
"Wise and Benevolent Women".

the chinese art is highly appreciated and
practised by chinese nowadays especially the
calligraphy and panting.
Besides that, fengshui such as mountain
water( shansui ) “Yin Yang” already exist since
900BC – present.
We can see the treasure of valuable Chinese
art which had been keep in museum such as
Terracota army during first Emperor of Qin
(Qin Shi Huang) in 210–209 BC. From that ,we
know that sculpture already been practised
since the Qin dynasty.
32. From the development of century, Chinese
art become more advance and improve in
everypart such as colours,techniques and
others.
During the dynasty of the emperors, onlythe
upper level people will afford to own the
paintings. Nowadays, all the citizen can
afford to own these.Most of the paintings are
regarding to Fengshui, culture, gods and
traditional cultures.
We can see the carving, monument, mural
and sculphure in Chinese temple.Besides
that, Chinese had used for decoration
especially the painting and furniture.
