This study analyzed uterine sarcoma cases treated at a single institution in Saudi Arabia between 2000-2012. Uterine sarcoma makes up 3-5% of uterine cancers and presents at a younger age. The study found the 2-year disease-free and overall survival rates were 30% and 22%, and the 5-year rates were 14% and 14%. Advanced age, lymphovascular invasion, lymph node involvement, and lack of chemotherapy or radiotherapy were associated with poorer outcomes. The prognosis of uterine sarcoma is generally poor with high recurrence rates.

2. Introduction
• 3-5% of uterine cancers.
• Arising from myometrium and connective
tissues.
• Present at younger age.
6. Patient and Methodology
• All patient with pathological diagnosis of
uterine sarcoma.
• Patient treated in King Abdulaziz University
Hospital (KAUH) between 2000-2012.
• All histology reviewed at KAUH.
• FIGO 2009
• DFS and OS at 2 and 5 years.
11. • Cox Regression model:
Disease-Free Survival
1-Advanced age (p=0.015) and Lymphovascular
invasion (p=0.0007).
Overall Survial
1- Advanced age ( p=0.005) lymph node
involvement ( p= 0.029) have poor out come.
2- Chemotherapy ( p= 0.033) Radoitherapy (p=
0.015) have better outcome.
12. Conclusion
• Uterine sarcoma heterogonous disease.
• Prognosis is poor with high risk of recurrence.
• Advanced age, LVI and nodal involvement are
associated with worse outcome.
• Limitation: 1-Number.
2- Need prospective.
