For All of Us … All the Time
 The Alexander Technique is based upon
principles so fundamental that they apply
to all of us, in all our activities.
 They apply all the time, in movement and
stillness, during sleep as well as
    wakefulness.
 They apply to all activities, whether simple
and routine, or complex and skilled.
What Happens in a Lesson?
               The teacher uses her
                  hands to help you
                  become aware of the
                  tensions you are
                  holding within
                  yourself.

               You learn to use
                  your mind to access
                  them and start the
                  process of release.
 You will work
    together on simple
    everyday actions
    such as sitting,
    standing and
    getting in and out
    of a chair.
 You will learn a

    special way of

    lying down which

    will rest and

    refresh your back.
After Your Lessons
 You will be able to drop unnecessary
effort and tension in your actions.

 Your muscles can then work with the
springiness that is natural to them.

 You will start applying what you have
learnt in your life, work and leisure.
