1. Template for writing a one page business case -- Turn Into An
Expert In just 5 Straightforward Moves
If you are like most other young entrepreneurs and you don’t like writing a business plan, you
have a quick way of doing it. You can get the work out of your way with just a one-page
business template. You can follow this simple template and write the shortest business plan.
You can use this as you original business plan or use it as draft for the final business plan. It
is completely up to you. Here is the one page business plan template.
- Write a few lines about the most critical part of your mission, be it people or your products.
Don’t write anymore than 3 lines for this.
- Write about your vision of one page business plan. Confine it to 2 lines. Try to describe your
long-term goals as your vision briefly. Most enthusiasts spend too much time writing about
vision. Just keep it brief. You can expand it later when converting your one-page draft to a
full-fledged business plan.
- Write a few lines about your customers. Tell briefly why they would want to pay for your
products or services. You should try doing it in answer and question format.
- Write about your key constraints. It is an important part of a one page business plan
template to realize constraints at the right time. Don’t try to write all the details here but skim
it down to only couple of lines for now.
- Now include some lines, say 3-4, about your management of your business. If you are a
sales business, write about your sales team and delivery. Write about your products and
services and describe how you will manage each. This can go long so make sure that you
are keeping it down to only 5 lines at max to keep your entire plan within one page-length
and one page business plan template.
- It’s time for competitors. List top three and then provide information on competitors market
advantage. This should take roughly 2-3 lines.
- For your one page business plan template, work out your market strategy and sum it up in
just a few lines. You will have to describe your marketing method and strategy briefly. It
shouldn’t take more than 3 lines for each marketing channel. You should restrict it down to
only three marketing channels for now.
- For your one page business plan template, list your financial projections in 5 to 6 lines.
Typically, you will write price per unit or sale and include all the hidden costs here. This
shouldn’t be a comprehensive financial projection section since you just want to contain it to
a page for guidance later on.
2. - End it with a few lines about your implementation strategy or plan. Tell the reader (which
can be you in case it’s just a draft for final one page business plan template) about your plan
to actually begin doing the business.
Although this can take more than one page (for your one page business plan template) in
some cases, especially when you had to write a few extra lines for each part only because
you were unable to explain the whole thing in couple of lines, you will still have a brief with
you. basic business plan template
