The church has adopted a platoon of U.S. soldiers, to
whom it sends care packages and whose families it helps
support. It has also put together a rapid response team of
volunteers who can help out when disaster strikes, either
in the areas around the church or nationwide. And its
Flavour Sisterhood has partnered with the group Traffick
911 to raise awareness about human trafficking occurring
in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Other Fellowship Church community initiatives focus on
extending aide to underserved populations. The church
runs a prison ministry through which volunteers share
Christ with inmates at Dawson Prison, and it reaches out
to the elderly through a bi-monthly bingo night at
Woodridge Nursing Home.
