Directions: <ul><li>You will be assigned a partner . </li></ul><ul><li>On one sheet of binder paper write both </li></ul><ul><li>of your names , period , and date . </li></ul><ul><li>Partners will be assigned a set of CCW. </li></ul><ul><li>Write the CCW as your assignment title . </li></ul>
  3. 3. Writing Sentences: <ul><li>Use your CCW notes to review definitions and sentence examples . </li></ul><ul><li>Be imaginative and creative . (your sentence should be very different from the example) </li></ul><ul><li>Underline the CCW in each sentence. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Presenting Sentences: <ul><li>Be prepared before presenting . (decide equally who will read each sentence) </li></ul><ul><li>Read each sentence & pick a volunteer to answer the correct CCW used in the sentence. </li></ul><ul><li>If you have all right , a lot , & like read the definition and your sentence. </li></ul>

Helpful Hints for Writing & Presenting <ul><li>When presenting, say “ BLANK ” for the CCW in the sentence. </li></ul><ul><li>If your CCW is used with an “s” </li></ul><ul><li>ending, say “ BLANKS .” (“ed” ending say “ BLANKED ”) </li></ul><ul><li>Challenge yourself : Use all CCW to write a “short story” ( 1 paragraph= 5-6 sentences ) </li></ul>
