- 3. 1. Institute of Play introduced Mission Lab, a collaborative learning studio that utilizes games to create lesson plans. Educators and curriculum and game designers join together to build programs, simulations, and activities that inspire students to further delve into education in the classroom. The game-like learning strategy specifically targets subject areas students struggle with to build an alternative educational tool that helps them learn the content through practice and play.
- 4. 2. Sesame Street introduced STEAM to it audience in its 43rd season. Among the new programs was a segment dubbed Elmo the Musical, which employed singing and dancing to teach problem solving skills. The program utilized various forms of math, including geometric shapes and enumeration, and offered art-based learning tools for parents to use at home. 3. In addition to harboring an infrastructure that promotes academia and enchantment, Blue School established a discovery- and art-based curriculum at its inception. The institution relies heavily on projects to teach its students about creative thinking. Each project is designed to spur interaction between students, educators, and parents and use art and play to make the learning experience more interesting.
