Visual content receives more engagement than any other type of post.
Let’s be honest; hashtags are more powerful on Twitter. However, they are
great for searching content in Facebook groups.
I don’t like hashtags on Facebook. Unless it’s something that is so norm
like #tbt.
Schedule free webinar, then free strategy calls with viewers, then book
paid webinars with excited fans.
Brand pages are limited in visibility: I often share on page first and then re-
share to my personal account (to grow both).
No secret that Facebook is prioritising your friend’s personal content in
news feed over pages, so you have to pay!
That said, visuals tend to outperform non-visual content (but as I said,
diversify!)
Optimize your landing page to those who come from Facebook.
I don’t use hashtags on Facebook beyond random cross-posting from
Instagram.
The more you interact, the more of your updates people you interact with
will naturally see.
Value is everything, if you’re not adding value, people simply won’t
subscribe.
Edgerank determines what people see on Facebook, if people engages
with your posts, they will see your posts again.
Not paying attention to edgerank can hurt your posts and they might be
covered with other feed.
Visual content is crucial. People like looking at pictures. That’s why we’re
developing a graphics course.
Facebook is a great place to interact and make CTAs. Beyond buttons, you
can share quality content, run contests, etc.
Facebook should be used as the bait. Invite people to discover great
content on your website through good snippets.
Focus on engagement first. Then, mix in bold images to draw attention,
and great copy that gets them to click the link.
As with all customer experiences, you want to provide value. People want
great information.
