Each year in India, 200,000 children are born with congenital heart disease. Surgeries cost between 100,000-500,000 rupees, which most parents cannot afford. District 3141 is working with hospitals in Mumbai to provide free or low-cost cardiac care and surgeries to children from low-income families. They have identified and helped 989 children so far, spending over 19.78 crores. The organization seeks donations to fund more lifesaving heart surgeries and procedures for children in need.
