▪ User needs to navigate through large number of accounts

■ Bug 9442359
▪ GL-ACCT Inquiry form returns combinations with no balances in
GL_BALANCES table
— “Most users are not currently using the GL inquiry screen because its
so difficult to get at combinations with balances in them. Due to this
issue, the user has to dip in and out of ‘Show balances’ for each
combination that the query returned to find where there might
actually be financial values, only to discover there are none. This is
decreasing efficiency for users.”

36. The Account Analysis and Drilldown Form
- Key Considerations
■ Number of records fetched in result
▪ When querying accounts in the Account Analysis and Drilldown,
only 201 accounts are retrieved
▪ The same is seen when drilling down from a Journal Entry on
the Journals form
▪ The 201 row limit is set by default for all customers in Oracle
Applications Framework pages for performance reasons
▪ The profile option that controls this value is FND: View Object
Max Fetch Size
▪ Set to 1000 in client production system without noticing any
performance issue

■ Ability to assign Views to all users (Doc 344169.1)
▪ User sees both sets of Views (self-created and Sysadmin-created)
▪ The self-created view gets accounts, amounts and periods

view columns over the user results
▪ First select User view, then Sysadmin View
