Marking Machine - Fault 7-9
Here we show some common problems of laser marking machine and the methods to resolve these
problems.
Fault 7: It will jump when it is running and the jumping position is more or less
fixed.
The reasons and methods of trouble shooting are as followed:
1. The deformation of synchronous belt due to long time stretching ---change to a new belt.
2. It has dirt in the small gear groove of ratio wheel –clean up the dirt inside the small gear
groove.
3. It has dirt in the gear wheel of power shaft – clean gear groove of power shaft
Fault 8: the starting point and closing point of the closed line is not closed.
It has the following reasons:
1. The synchronous belt is too loose – tighten the belt.
2. The connection between gear and shaft is loose—retighten.
3. The guiding rail of X axis and Y axis is not vertical—adjust the verticality of the guiding rail of
X and Y axis.
4. The gap between the sliding block and the guiding rail is too large—change the sliding block.
That is the last fault of the FAQS in this area. When we using the laser machines, we may found
that sometime it can not meet your marking requirement.
Fault 9: The case of not marking
The reasons and methods for troubleshooting are as followed:
1. The vertical light is not straight – adjust the vertical light and readjust the optical path if
necessary.
2. The focusing adjustment is not proper – readjust the focal distance.
3. The unstable and relatively low voltage or the laser current is too low—change to a bigger
voltage regulator and increase laser current output.
4. The light outlet of the air faucet is blocked --- clean the air faucet.
5. The shielding gas is blocked up – clean the air pump as well as air filter and check the air
circulation path.
6. The reflection mirror and the focusing lens are contaminated—clean the reflection mirror and
the focusing lens with cleaning solution.
2. 7. The power of laser tube decreased—change the laser tube.
8. The outlet control module on the main board is faulted –change the main board.
9. The setting of potentiometer is too low or the potentiometer has self-failure --Adjust the
potentiometer setting or change the potentiometer.
10. The energy setting in the software is too low – increase the energy.
11. Problems of the material –choose the proper material.
12. Focusing lens is cracking or the focusing effects are bad—change the focusing lens.
13. The dirt inside the laser tube is too much and its heat dissipation is bad – choose the purified
water.
