  4. 4. Question 2 X was an immigrant who rose from working as a dishwasher and became one of most influential gangsters in 80s America. He has a firm belief in the inability of the eyes to lie, has a distinctive way of eating lemons from the hand bowl, and wants other people to greet his diminutive friends. X also served as the inspiration for the main character from a much beloved 2000s game, Y, which also incorporated much of the game’s style and design into its gameplay. Give me X (1 point) and Y for bonus (1 point).

The movie is known for its unique narrative that reflects the fragmented mind of its protagonist. X is a 2000 psychological neo- noir film that served as the debut (major studio) of Y, who has since went on to become one of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful filmmakers of all time.

The first reason was that he won best actor for only 16 minutes of screentime, over another future great stalwart Y, who in turn was nominated for supporting actor instead, despite having the most screen time. The second and main reason was that he refused to accept the Oscar, sending someone else to pick it up for him. Give me X and Y (1 + 1 points).
