A school is an institution designed for
the teaching of students (or "pupils")
under the direction of teachers.
Community:
A group of people living in the same place or
having a particular characteristic in common.”

What is the Relationship between School and
Community?
Community is a part of the society and
education is the counterpart of both. School
is the social institute where consciously
designed learning experiences are provided
with the objectives of achieving social aim at
large, over a period of time.
What is the Relationship between School and
Community?
School is also defined as a subsystem of
the larger system of the society. It has to
functionally coordinate with its immediate
environment, the community in which it is
situated.
 They can forge a kind of
partnership.
The school and the community are the
mainsprings of effective and powerful
forces that can create a wholesome climate
for mutual gains and betterment.
THE TEACHER, PARENTS AND THE COMMUNITY
Parent
The parents are the first
teachers in the home.
They are responsible for
the development of values,
attitudes and habits that
will be needed as their
children associate with
classmates in the school.
Teacher
Teachers in the
schools continue to
enrich the students’
experiences at home,
thus strengthening
the valuable personal
traits
and characteristics
initially developed.
Community
The members of the
community, in addition
to the parents and
relatives like the
government officials, the
professionals and all the
residents are highly
motivated to participate
in the parent-teacher
activities and projects.
Brief Introduction of HAPPY PALACE GROUP OF SCHOOLS
Happy Palace Group of Schools (abbreviated HPGS) are one of the largest
private educational networks in Karachi. Established in 1982. Since its inception,
HPGS is striving hard to provide quality education at an affordable price. With a
student body of over 10,000 and educational faculty of 600 teachers, HPGS is
operating over 20 campuses in different areas of Karachi.
HPGS is a multi-dimensional organization with a number of parallel streams of
education. The School offers Pre-School, Primary Education, Secondary
Education and preparation for both local SSC (Matriculation) and international
(GCSE) examinations. Students have an option to take international GCE O Level
and A Level Examinations organized by Cambridge International Examinations
(CIE) of UCLES, or SSC (Matric) from Local board.

  • 9. What is the Relationship between School and Community? Community is a part of the society and education is the counterpart of both. School is the social institute where consciously designed learning experiences are provided with the objectives of achieving social aim at large, over a period of time.
  • 10. What is the Relationship between School and Community? School is also defined as a subsystem of the larger system of the society. It has to functionally coordinate with its immediate environment, the community in which it is situated.
  • 11.  They can forge a kind of partnership. The school and the community are the mainsprings of effective and powerful forces that can create a wholesome climate for mutual gains and betterment.

  • 17. Brief Introduction of HAPPY PALACE GROUP OF SCHOOLS Happy Palace Group of Schools (abbreviated HPGS) are one of the largest private educational networks in Karachi. Established in 1982. Since its inception, HPGS is striving hard to provide quality education at an affordable price. With a student body of over 10,000 and educational faculty of 600 teachers, HPGS is operating over 20 campuses in different areas of Karachi.
