2. The 12 National Key Economic Areas (NKEAs) are at the core of the ETP. NKEA is defined as a driver of economic activity that has the potential to directly and materially contribute a quantifiable amount of economic growth to the Malaysian economy.

4. 2. Palm Oil National Key Economic Areas ( NKEA ) identified palm oil as a growth driver sector with projects to improve upstream productivity and sustainable plantation. Downstream enhancement like developing oleo-derivatives products.
5. 3. Financial Services National Key Economic Areas ( NKEA ) identified financial services that revitalizes capital market, transforming developmental financial institutions and creating integrated payments eco-system.
