IBM FileNet P8 Platform Installation 4.5 (F0450) Overview
You work with a fully functioning IBM FileNet P8 system to practice the skills required for installing the FileNet P8
software on different platform configurations. You are required to do a successful installation without instructor
assistance. An access code is generated as a product of the verification workflow executed in the final stages of
installation, which is used to access the online certification exam. Completion of both the course and the exam is
counted as credit towards Product Technical Support certification.

This intermediate course is for technical professionals who are required to install the IBM FileNet P8 4.5 platform in a

experience
• IBM FileNet P8 Platform Administration 4.5 (F042) or IBM FileNet P8 Platform Administration 4.0 (F002) -
recommended
• IBM FileNet BPM Administration Add-On 4.0 (F007) - recommended
• Understanding of the overall architecture of the FileNet P8 platform
• Microsoft Windows server operating system experience
• Familiarity with basic Linux or UNIX operating system commands
