6. I chose to do this posting to pat on the back an
eight year old named Art who has a terrific blog.
If you like dinosaurs, this is the blog to check out.
In today's blog update I have included a few
examples of his postings just to wet your
appetite. I have also paraphrased some of the
information researched and written by Art.
Given the quality of the blog produced by
someone so young, I think that Art has an
extremely bright future. If you want to learn
more about Life Before Dinosaurs please check

24. “The research from this study
shows the connectedness and
positive correlation between
development of 21st century skills
in the last year of school, student
aspiration and engagement in
school, and higher quality of work
later in life.”
25. “Of the constructs assessed in
this study, real world problem
solving and good student-teacher
relationships are two of the
primary drivers of higher work
quality later in life.”
26. “These data also show that in
order to have a true impact on
future work quality, the
development of 21st century skills
must be experienced by students
frequently and consistently.”
30. “While 81.4% of respondents listed faculty development as
their top priority, only 27.9 % rated their existing training
offerings as excellent (or a seven on a seven-point scale). At
12.8 %, IT training for students drew the second-lowest share
of respondents giving it an excellent rating.”

95. “It's easy to say preserve the best of the old and
combine it with the best of the new, but in a
revolution, the best of the new is incompatible
with the best of the old. It's about doing things a
whole new way. -Clay Shirky
