Flavors Of
The World
34. Actually, yes. But our new
Non-Obvious Guide series
is real – and it is filled with
useful advice written by
actual experts in a smart
and approachable way.
/// IS THIS BOOK A JOKE?
35. Some people believe anyone can and should write a
book. That’s why it’s so hard to find a good one.
The truth is writing a good naan-fiction book (see what
we did there?) actually takes talent and expertise.
We “wrote” this quirky book over a long weekend as a
joke. And we intentionally published it on April 1st (April
Fools Day). We wanted to poke a little fun at the idea that
you can call just about anything a book these days.
Yet despite this fact, we still believe there is a hunger for
great advice in a book format. Advice that helps you
decide what to do and makes you smarter. Advice that
doesn’t treat you like a dummy or an idiot.
That’s why we created the Non-Obvious Guide Series.
And why we chose this book as our naan-obvious way
to introduce the series to you.
/// WHY WE WROTE THIS BOOK
36. The goal of the Non-Obvious Guide series is
to provide actually useful insights from real
experts, delivered through short advice
guides that offer exactly what you
need in the moment to get
something done.
