real-estate market - 2014
• 2013 recorded an increase of approximately 16.5% of the number of
transactions completed in the Bucharest-Ilfov, reaching 5,275 units.
• September 2014 was a good month for residential construction. National
Institute of Statistics reports that the number of permits for residential
construction rose by 6.6% compared to August.
• 3858 residential building permits were issued in September 2014 , with 6.6%
more than in August 2014, and also with 3% more than the same period of
2013.
• The most intense residential real estate development activity was recorded in
the adjacent/ surrounding areas of Bucharest as well as in the non central
districts .
• Development work in these areas has focused almost exclusively on
apartments segment, located in residential complexes; 2 and 3 bedrooms with
net area between 50-55 sqm, respectively, between 65-70 sqm.
• Apartments located in proximity of Metro stations have sale prices between
675-800 E / sqm.
