“the processes of chemical weathering
transform rocks and minerals exposed
to water and air and produce new
chemical product.
The most common chemical
weathering processes are
•oxidation,
• reduction,
•carbonation, and solution.

surface by natural processes such as wind or water flow, and
then transported and deposited in other locations.
•Transportation, the movement of eroded particles by agents . such as
