Mothers
Originally launched in 2003, Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) is an evidencebased program that connects low-income, first-time mothers with nurses in an
effort to help them have a healthy pregnancy and prepare for the challenges
of motherhood. NFP not only helps participating mothers care for their babies,
it also assists them in building strong support networks and encourages them
to set positive long-term goals.
