More than Just Lines on a Map: Best Practices for U.S Bike Routes
Home workshop and art projects featuring bikes, books and brooches
1. Me with my husband, Brett in his workshop. This captures my home environment as even
inside the house there are bikes and a continuous motorcycling language that surrounds
me.
5. I have actually got a lot more books than this – a lot of them have been moved onto the new
mezzanine Brett has built in the house which acts as a library.
6. This is a broach I’m working on for Vivien Atkinson’s
Salon Rouge that will be at the Dowse opening of
Wunderruma as a promotional performance for
HS2
I’m playing here with
using silver and brass
as a veneer on the
surface of old
Presscraft trays that I
cut up. Although this
one is actually from
the last one that I
made for Masterworks
‘Brace Yourself’ earlier
this year. The rivets act
as pivots

8. The beginnings of compositional
experiments. With this resent work I have
been challenging myself by limiting my
materials and relying on my own using my
own shapes cut from flat Presscraft trays
as opposed to earlier work that
reconfigured dissected handles from
kitchen implements
9. I’m an avid collector of old domestic-ware.
