6. SCHOOL
SELECTION
• 25 Schools were chosen for the Dakota Dunes Dental Project based
on their high risk, as identified by the Saskatoon Health Region -
Oral Health Program (SHR-OHP)

7. 25 SCHOOLS PARTICIPATED

8. IMPLEMENTATION
• 25 schools were visited during Dental Health Month (April)
• Over 100 students in the 5th, 6th, and 7th grade were trained to use
the Educational Kit
• Presentations will be given to Kindergarten through Grade 5 classes

9. Students distributed 2500 toothbrushes
during their presentations
