Chewing tobacco contains many harmful chemicals like polonium 210, tobacco-specific N-nitrosamines, formaldehyde, nicotine, cadmium, cyanide, arsenic, benzene, and lead. It poses serious health risks, with around 30,000 Americans diagnosed with mouth or throat cancer each year from chewing tobacco, of which about 8,000 die. Tobacco companies advertise chewing tobacco using catchy slogans to appeal to users and make it seem cool.
