This document outlines a project to develop an advanced automated door control system. The project is being developed by Fabien Labat under the supervision of Dr. Seng Chong. The goals of the project are to analyze the current automated door process, design new materials to create an automated door control program using an Arduino board, implement and test the new system, and address all safety issues. The document describes the mechanical design, sensors, motor control, programming design, testing plans, and future work to implement an automatic door access system between two rooms.
