• Eid-ul-Adha is the celebration of sacrifice and marks the end of
Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca.
• This celebration is to remember Prophet Ibrahim who was very
obedient to God and was ready to sacrifice his most precious
possession when he was asked to do so. Ibrahim was very patient
and in constant search for truth.
• Muslims all over the world reflect on these qualities in their lives
at this time of the year.

WHO WAS IBRAHIM A.S ? AND
WHO WAS ISMAEEL A.S ?
• IBRAHIM WAS PROPHET OF ALLAH
SWT. HE HAD A DREAM OF
SACRIFICING HIS SON ISMAEEL.
• PROPHET IBRAHIM HAD TO CHOOSE
BETWEEN HIS LOVE FOR ALLAH SWT
WHICH WAS VERY STRONG AND HIS
LOVE FOR HIS SON WHICH WAS ALSO
STRONG

WHAT DO YOU THINK PROPHET
IBRAHIM PBUH SHOULD DECIDE?
WHY?
• PROPHET IBRAHEEM CONVEYED HIS
DREAM TO HIS SON ISMAEEL A.S.
• HOW DO YOU THINK PROPHET
ISMAEEL A.S WHO WAS JUST
13 YEAR OLD WOULD HAVE
REACTED?
6. 10/5/2016
SON'S REPLY TO HIS FATHER WAS:
• PROPHET ISMAEEL REPLIED," O MY FATHER DO
AS YOU ARE COMMANDED, I WILL REMAIN
PATIENT."
• ALLAH SWT WAS PLEASED WITH BOTH FATHER
AND SON'S PATIENCE, LOYALTY,OBEDIENCE AND
RESPECT.
• ALLAH SWT SENT A SHEEP THAT WAS TO BE
SACRIFICED INSTEAD OF ISMAEEL A.S AND THAT
IS WHY EID AL ADHA IS CELEBRATED.

WHAT QUALITIES DO YOU LEARN FROM
THE STORY?
• WE MAY HAVE MANY TESTS IN LIFE, WE
SHOULD FACE THEM WITH FAITH & TRUST.
• THE LOVE OF GOD SHOULD BE MORE THAN
ANYONE ELSE.
• WE SHOULD ALWAYS OBEY OUR PARENTS ,
EVEN IF THEY ASK US TO DO THE HARDEST
THINGS.
• DEVIL WILL ALWAYS MAKE YOU DISOBEY , YOU
SHOULD ALWAYS DO WHAT IS CORRECT.
