Do you not see that Allah has made what is in the skies and what is in the earth
subservient to you, and made complete to you His favors – both the apparent
and the hidden? And among people is he who disputes in respect of Allah though
having no knowledge nor guidance, nor a book giving light.

3. It is ALL for US to USE
(but not abuse)
Heavens
•Sun and Moon and the celestial realms are all at OUR service.
Earth
•Animals and all things on earth have been created FOR our usage – not our abuse.
Apparent
•Things which are undeniable – like our existence, sustenance, etc…
•Prophet and the ability to know Allah, Tawheeed, etc… which the Prophet taught us.
Hidden
•Things which we need to study and investigate before we can know them as blessings.
•The Ahlulbayt and our live and affiliation towards them (esp. the 12th Imam).

4. Many ways to know
our Creator
Knowledge (‫)علم‬
•That which we can acquire
through the use of our
intellect and looking at the
world around us.
Guidance (‫)هداية‬
•That which comes from the
Allah via the Divinely sent
teachers of humanity
including Prophets,
Messengers, Imams,
Scholars.
Manifest Book (‫منير‬ ‫)كتاب‬
•The illuminated books sent
down from the Divine
which are replete of
guidance and wisdom and
are revealed to humanity.

5. Lessons to Learn
from Verse 20
1. Not thinking about the creation and their role in the life of the human being is
something which has been reprimanded in Islam. ( ‫ألم‬‫تروا‬ )
2. Everything in creation has a purpose and us as humans have been permitted to make
use of them for ourselves. ( ‫ر‬ّ‫خ‬‫س‬‫لكم‬ )
3. Not only are the blessings of God spread out and numerous in quantity (‫)اسبغ‬ but they
are also within our grasp (‫)عليكم‬ and they are of various types ( ‫ظاهرة‬‫و‬‫باطنة‬ ).

6. Lessons to Learn
from Verse 20
4. We must not forget the unseen / inner blessings of God which we
have been given. ( ‫ألم‬‫تروا‬...‫باطنة‬ )
5. Despite the fact that we have so many blessings of God, people still
seem to want to dispute about Him and this is a form of denial of
Divine blessings. ( ‫اسبغ‬‫عليكم‬‫نعمه‬...‫يجادل‬‫فى‬ّ‫للا‬ )
