 For them doing evil will become easy, and doing good will
become toilsome and risky --- Moving towards Hell Fire.
 The God-fearing who spends his wealth to purify himself ---- No
favors in return just to please His Lord --- They will be saved from
Hell Fire

Man should avoid the bad qualities like
arrogance, criticizing others, materialism
and love of this world. These things make
him stingy and lead towards Hell.

leaders should not have the misunderstanding
that their wealth will give the everlasting life.

custodians of Kaaba should keep in view the

symbol of Tawhid. It should be clear of idols;

the rights of Allah and the rights of human beings

  • 2. 90:‫سورة‬‫البلد‬ Man should choose the difficult way between the two ways. In other words he should choose the way of the social justice. He can be included in the people of the right hand.   • 5.  Using Human skills in their proper place --- Eyes, tongue, lips, thinking and reasoning  Four characteristics to achieve moral sublimity --- Scaling the ascent 1) freeing someone's neck from slavery 2) giving food on a day of hunger 3) raising orphan near of kin 4) Helping the needy in distress
  • 6.  The people with above four qualities ---- ‫َة‬‫ن‬َ‫م‬ۡ‫ي‬َ‫م‬ۡ‫ال‬ ُ‫ب‬ ٰ‫ح‬ ۡ‫ص‬َ‫ا‬ ---- Three more attributes --- 1) Faith 2) standing by other believers(collectiveness 3) enjoining each other of Mercy & steadfastness  ‫ة‬َ‫م‬‫ـ‬َٔ‫ـ‬ۡ‫ش‬َ‫م‬ۡ‫ال‬ ُ‫ب‬ ٰ‫ح‬ ۡ‫ص‬َ‫ا‬ ---- People of the left hand --- Hell fire.
  • 8. 91:‫سورة‬‫الشمس‬ Man`s conscience is naturally disciplined towards God`s limits. However, the one who sells his soul becomes transgressing and rebellious like peopleof Thamud. Ayah 1-8 Ayah 9-10 Ayah 11-15 The human soul has been given the consciousness of good and bad by natural inspiration.Inferring reward and punishments of the akhirah based on conscience and great physical signs. Man`s success if founded upon the purification of the soul and Allah consciousness. Hopeless will be those who suppress their conscience. Like Thamud, nations and people that rebel and transgress, act not God fearingly but tyrannically, become targets for punishment rather than reward.

  • 13. 92:‫سورة‬‫الليل‬ Man`s activities and striving can be both good and bad. The rewards and punishment of both are also different. Self-purification can be achieved by spending sincerely in the way of Allah. Ayah 1-4 Ayah 5-77 Ayah 12-13Ayah 14-21 Ayah 8-11 Self-purification can be achieved by spending sincerely in the way of Allah. Three characteristics of good people: Friends of Allah, friends of people, generosity. Three characteristics of bad people: enemies of Allah, enemies of mankind and stingy. Allah administrates both guidance and, reward and punishment. The outcome of the wretched and, God fearing is dissimilar. Generosity leads to purification of the soul.
  • 15.  Opposite things are different from each other, & their effects & results are mutually contradictory, so are the aims & objects for which men are endeavoring & struggling, different in their nature & contradictory with regard to their results.  The two diverse types of Human efforts divide Human kind into two groups.
  • 16.  Characteristics of successful group 1) Refrain from wealth worship and spend in Allah’s way 2) Fear God & refrain from things which cause His displeasure 3) He believe in goodness which includes goodness of belief, morals and acts  For them adopting the way of taqwa, ascending the steep road becomes easy and slipping into the abyss of moral depravities becomes difficult for them.
  • 17.  Unsuccessful group’s characteristics 1) Niggardliness 2) Behave with aversion to Allah 3) Denied the Truth of goodness  For them doing evil will become easy, and doing good will become toilsome and risky --- Moving towards Hell Fire.  The God-fearing who spends his wealth to purify himself ---- No favors in return just to please His Lord --- They will be saved from Hell Fire
  • 19. 93:‫سورة‬‫الضحى‬ The Prophet is given the good news of a majestic future and great gifts during difficult circumstances. Advice to establish socio-economic justice along with dawah. Ayah 1-5 Ayah 6-8 Ayah 9-11 Comforting the Prophet that night follows day and that the break in revelation was temporary. the Prophet`s future will be magnificent. Three proofs from history for majestic future. Consolement to the Prophet SAW Along with proclaiming Allah`s favours the Prophet is advised to be the model of socioeconomic justice.
  • 21.  Fatra al Wahy ---- Temporary break in revelations.  Consoling Rasolallah(Saw) ---- Allah’s blessings(Best guardian, Best spouse, Prophet hood)  Glad tidings for the victory.

  • 24. 94:‫سورة‬‫الم‬‫نشرح‬ The Prophet is given good news of a majestic future, fame and Islam`s dominance. Advised to maintain a relationship and closeness with Allah, along with the calling. The invitation of reward and punishment given by the Messenger (pbuh) of Allah is true. Allah will do justice on the Day of Judgement. The human mind also accepts the concept of reward and punishment to be true.

The finality of Prophethood and the Book is the only evidence required for success. Warning of Hellffire to the rejectors. The People of Awe are the only ones that can attain the honour of Emaan.

  • 48. 99:‫سورة‬‫الزلزال‬ On the day of Qiyamah man will be shown his good and bad deeds before the final decision as an argument. The two stages of Qiyamah and man`s perplexity. Ayah 1-3 Ayah 4-8 The report of earth about the good and bad and the study of the Book of deeds before accountability.
  • 50.  Scene of The day of Resurrection.  First earthquake Human race will perish and with second, they all will rise back to life.  Burdens of earth --- Minerals, dead buried Humans and repercussion of deeds  Earth will testify to the deeds which every man and woman has done on its back.
  • 51.  Accountability will be personal but groups will form according to the crimes.  People will see even all the minor good and evil deeds they did.  Taqwa of Abu Bakr (RA) --- His response to this Ayah.  The Holy Prophet said: "Beware of minor sins, for they will gather together on man so much so that they will kill him. "
  • 53. 100:‫سورة‬‫العديت‬ The creation is loyal to the Creator but man is an ingrate. Invitation to humans to believe in akhirah and become a grateful servant. The creation is loyal to the Creator but man is an ingrate materialist. Ayah 1-8 Ayah 9-11 The picture of the Day of Judgement has been painted to awaken the dead human conscience. Man can become thankful through belief in the akhirah and God`s attributes.
  • 55.  Swearing by Horses ---- Faithful Animal  Man is most ungrateful to his Lord --- Majority is neglectful to their Lord.  Sheer ingratitude that the resources granted by Allah and the power given by Him should be used for causing chaos and corruption to spread in the earth.
  • 56.  Intense love of Human being for wealth --- Everything rotate around it.  Judgment will not be passed only on the apparent and superficial as to what a man practically did but the secrets hidden in the hearts also will be brought out to see what were the intentions and motives under which a man did what he did.
  • 58. : 101‫سورة‬‫القارعة‬ On the day of Qiyamah, the abundance of good deeds will be the reason for entering Jannah. The scarcity of good deeds will be the reason for entering Jahannam. The picture of the first stage of Hereafter, when the world will be destroyed, is described. Ayah 1-5 Ayah 6-11 The second stage of Qiyamah: the weighing of deeds.

  • 63. 102:‫سورة‬‫التكاثر‬ Avoid the worship of this world and avoid piling up its wealth! Otherwise you will end up in Hell. Make preparations for the grave and for the life Hereafter! Do not be ungrateful! You will have to answer about the blessings. Two realities about man; Forgetfulness in the race of accumulating wealth and does not remember death until he reaches the grave. Ayah 1-5 Ayah 6-8 The principle reason for takathur is the absence of belief in Jannah and Jahannam(Akhirah)
  • 65.  Lahv ---- heedlessness ---- every occupation which engrosses man so completely that he becomes heedless of the more important things in life.  Greed for more and more ---- strive to gain more and more of everything, vie with one another and than brag and boast of possessing greater abundance of things than others --- wealth, kids, house, status etc. --- Evaluate ourselves What we are collecting and racing for?
  • 66.  Delusion in which a person spent his whole life heedless of Allah, His remembrance, Hereafter, moral restrictions & responsibilities just working for desires & pleasure of this world.  About all the blessings we will be questioned --- Count your blessings?  Five questions at The Day of Judgment.
  • 68. 103:‫سورة‬‫العصر‬ Man should follow the four point divine formula as soon as possible so that he may save himself from the loss in the Hereafter. Ayah 1-2 Ayah 3 Accept Islam speedily or else you will be in loss. Man can save from loss by Eman, good deeds, calling to truth and calling to patience.

  • 72.  First two qualities are individual and later two collective.  Importance of collectivism ---- ICNA sister’s swing --- Work together on the basis of Kalimah Shadah, being witness to Mankind and importance of working collectively.  Companions of the Prophet(SAW)would not part company until they had recited Surah Al-Asr to each other.
  • 74. 104:‫سورة‬‫الهمزه‬ Man should avoid the bad qualities like arrogance, criticizing others, materialism and love of this world. These things make him stingy and lead towards Hell. Ayah 1-5 Ayah 6-9 Immoral, stingy and mammon worshipping leaders should not have the misunderstanding that their wealth will give the everlasting life. The end of the immoral, stingy, and slandering leader. Invitation to believe in Akhirah and avoid materialism.
  • 76.  ٍ‫ة‬ َ‫ز‬َ‫م‬ُ‫ه‬ ----- Back bite and speak ill of a person behind his back.  ۙ ‫ة‬ َ‫ز‬َ‫م‬ُّ‫ل‬ ---- Slander, deride, taunting, raising finger and winks.  Woe for both above diseases ---- Evaluate our own selves --- Reason for these is intoxication of wealth, arrogance, superiority complex, self praise and degrading others.

  • 79. 105:‫سورة‬‫الفيل‬ Learn a lesson from the end of Abraha. The custodians of Kaaba should keep in view the purposes of its construction. This building is the symbol of Tawhid. It should be clear of idols; otherwise, Allah Himself can protect His House. The plots of Quraish against the Messenger of Allah will fail. The Quraish have been warned by the end of the enemies of Kaaba. So accept tawhid otherwise they will be punished. Ayah 1-2 Ayah 3-5

Only those who firmly believe in the Hereafter can give the rights of Allah and the rights of human beings The disbelievers of the akhirah cannot establish collective justice. The show-off who does not give God His due right, cannot give people their due right.

  • 117.  Seeking refuge with the Lord Who brings out the bright daylight from the darkness of night so that He may likewise bring well-being for me from all kinds of physical and psychical dangers.  Evil of all creatures ---- Creator has power over His creations.  Evil of the dark night ---- Most of the crimes are done in darkness.  Evil of those who do magic ---- Magic is one of the Major sins.  Evil of Jealous ones ---- Jealousy eats good deeds like fire eats up wood.  How can we save ourselves from Jealousy and Jealous ones ---- Tawakul Ilallah , Dua , be envious rather than jealous.
  • 119. 114:‫سورة‬‫الناس‬ Ayah 1-3 Ayah 4-5 The advice to follow Tawhid of Providence, Tawhid of Sovereignty and Tawhid of Divinity in order to be saved from the mischief of three things i.e. the whispers, the mankind and the Jinns. Ayah 6 The necessity of being in the protection of a powerful being who is Lord, King and the rightful deity. To gain safety from the evil of the whisperers. To gain safety from the evil of humans and Jinns.
  • 121. • Three attributes of our Lord who gives protection against evil mischief of Satan. 1. ‫ب‬ َ‫ر‬ ----- Sustainer, Providence of all mankind 2. ‫ك‬‫ل‬َ‫م‬ ----- The King, Master ; who has full control on Mankind. 3. ‫ه‬ٰ‫ل‬‫ا‬ ---- Diet, only worthy of worship, who listen to all invocations and redress them • ‫اس‬َّ‫ن‬‫َـ‬‫خ‬ۡ‫ال‬ ----- whisper, delusions, whispering an evil suggestion into his heart, efforts to seduce and tempt again and again, whispering and retreat and then repeat gain. • The whisperer can be Jin or Human or ones own Nafs.
