• New catheters for coronary thermography are being
developed to increase the sensitivity of the current
systems.
• Thermography is currently being used in the whole
cardiovascular system (peripheral arteries, valves)
• Coronary sinus temperature measurements may provide in
the future important information for the patient; not only
for the plaque
