I work with public institutions, development programmes and industry associations to improve innovation and competitiveness in regions or industries. I see my role as that of a coach, enabler, trainer and sometimes lead facilitator. I am passionate about bottom up development, but I also work on getting top down policy and programmes to work better. My current project portfolio deals mainly with innovation systems, the technological upgrading of industries, and improving the design of support/development interventions through the application of systems and complexity thinking.
