206 named bones.
These bones can be grouped in two divisions:
Axial skeleton
Appendicular skeleton.

Appendicular
skeleton
The axial
skeleton forms the
central axis of the
human body and
consists of the skull,
vertebral column, and
thoracic cage.
The Appendicular
skeleton includes all
bones of the upper and
lower limbs, plus the
bones of the pectoral
and pelvic girdles that
attach each limb to the
axial skeleton.
