I am the Director of the National Coalition for Dialogue & Deliberation (NCDD), which connects those who actively practice, promote, and study dialogue and deliberation. I have served as the Director of NCDD five national conferences (2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2012), working in collaboration each time with dozens of volunteers to create unique, engaging events. NCDD has become a vibrant network of over 1,700 organizations and individuals who use innovative group communication processes to help people discuss and act on our most challenging and contentious problems.
