The Self is a complex constellation of many different voices or “selves.”
Most of us know the Gremlin/ Saboteur voice and have felt its negative impact.
But just as that voice is inherent in us, so too are a vast array of positive resources, the quieter voices of our true self that we are just not used to accessing. While it takes patience and practice to be able to hear and to heed them, the decision to live from this place of resonance, inside-out rather than outside-in, is truly a radical act.
This diagram helps you summon and externalize those positive internal resources using the construct of Inner Leader/Future Self and Crew.
The Inner Leader or Future Self, is that calm visionary inside you who wise, calm, brave, clear ... and who guides you toward the fullest expression of your core purpose. This part of you has access to all the wisdom that ever was, and knows that ultimately, everything turns out just fine.
The Crew gives you access to resources you can call on anytime. chart points you to resources within you, but you can also call on characters from books, pop culture, or nature, whatever inspires/refuels you.
Have fun identifying, recruiting, and naming your team! And as with anything else, the more you use this construct, the more alive and real it is. So, go down that river and into the woods as often as you can, knowing that with each visit, the path to the cabin, to your highest and most resonant Self, becomes more defined and therefore easier to find.
