This document discusses four organizations dedicated to social causes: 1) To Write Love on Her Arms focuses on suicide prevention and was started after a girl recovered from depression. 2) Farm rescues farm animals from inhumane conditions and hosts annual animal rights events. 3) Sea Shepherd actively works to protect marine animals from threats like whaling and uses direct action approaches. 4) Dogs Deserve Better rescues chained and abused dogs and advocates against chaining through an annual awareness campaign called Chain Off. The founder was imprisoned for rescuing a dying dog.

They sell shirts, buttons, and more to raise money to help people

with depression
Started with a girl who attempted suicide but rebounded from

depression and she inspired the founder to help everyone he can
and replace pain with love

3. Farm is an organization dedicated to animal rights

 They are an international group the rescues farm
animals
 FARM also hosts Meatout every March and the
Animal Rights Conference every summer bringing
thousands of animal lovers together

4. SEA SHEPHERD
Sea Shepherd is a group of people who go out on

the sea to save dolphins, whales, seals, etc.
 They are proactive and militant
 They currently have a campaign against Japanese
whale hunting

5. DOGS DESERVE BETTER
This is an organization started by a woman to

rescue chained and abused dogs
 They have a national campaign every year where
they ask people in communities to chain
themselves for a day to see how a chained dog
feels called Chain Off
 The founder was recently jailed for rescuing a dying
dog from an abusive home
