1. Michael Faraday (1791-
1867)
Michael Faraday - English physicist and chemist,
is primarily known for the discovery of
electromagnetic induction. Faraday also
discovered the chemical action of the current,
diamagnetism, the action of the magnetic field
on light, the laws of electrolysis. He also
invented the first, albeit primitive electric
motor, and the first transformer. He introduced
the terms cathode, anode, ion, electrolyte,
diamagnetism, dielectric, paramagnetism, etc.
In 1824 he discovered chemical elements
benzene and isobutylene. Some historians
consider Michael Faraday the best experimenter
in the history of science.Michael Faraday was
born in London 1791 years and died 1867 in
London as.Michael Faraday is an English
experimental physicist and chemist. Member of
the Royal Society of London and many other
scientific organizations, including a foreign
honorary member of the St. Petersburg Academy
of Sciences.
