4. Make a digital storytelling on your
Erasmus plus experience in Italy…
…follow the 3 GOLDEN rules!

5. 3 GOLDEN RULES
1 MATERIAL SELECTION
Select a few photos/videos you made, the most meaningful
ones, and save them on the computer.
You may want to add one or two taken from the net (no
more!). This step is individual!
Then, show them to your group and explain your choice;
listen to the other members’ choices. Remember that the
material can include food, places, people, and activities.

6. After that, make a selection as a group,
choose 5/6 photos.
The places in Rome may be included,
as they are all well known to the Italian students.

7. As a group, jot down some thoughts (ideas,
emotions, memories, associations).
They can be both individual and shared, but the
group has to agree to select them.

8. 2.
ORGANIZATION
Arrange the selected material into a well-balanced whole,
decide what main emotional message or messages
you want to convey
Write a text (or some separate texts) by reorganizing
the ideas noted down in step 1. Remember to evoke
more than describe, to recall sensations/emotions/memories/
associations instead of telling facts.
Give a title to the whole work.

9. 3.
CREATION
Create your storytelling using the available software,
or a different one if you prefer.
Do not forget to add some music if you want!
