10 Page Essay Example
Writing a 10-page essay can be a challenging task, demanding a substantial investment of time,
effort, and intellectual resources. The difficulty lies not only in the sheer length but also in the
requirement to sustain a coherent and engaging argument throughout the entirety of the paper.
Crafting an essay of this magnitude demands thorough research, critical thinking, and effective
organization of ideas.
One of the primary challenges is managing the vast amount of information that needs to be
included while ensuring each point contributes meaningfully to the overall thesis. Striking the
right balance between depth and breadth is essential, as excessive detail can lead to a lack of
focus, while insufficient coverage may weaken the essay's substance.
The task becomes more complex when considering the need for a well-structured and logical
flow of ideas. Each section and paragraph must seamlessly connect to the next, guiding the
reader through a thoughtfully constructed narrative. Achieving coherence on such a scale
requires careful planning and meticulous attention to detail.
Moreover, maintaining the reader's interest over the course of ten pages is no small feat. Writers
must employ a variety of rhetorical strategies, including compelling introductions, clear
transitions, and engaging conclusions. The challenge lies not only in conveying information but
also in doing so in a manner that captivates the audience and sustains their attention.
Time management is another critical aspect. Given the extensive nature of the assignment,
procrastination can quickly become a hindrance. Meeting deadlines and allocating sufficient time
for research, drafting, and revision are essential components of successfully navigating the task.
In conclusion, writing a 10-page essay requires a combination of research skills, critical thinking,
organizational prowess, and effective communication. It's a task that demands dedication, focus,
and perseverance. However, for those seeking assistance, there are various resources available,
such as HelpWriting.net, where similar essays and much more can be ordered to alleviate the
challenges associated with extensive academic writing.

Try as I might I could never keep up with my cousins. To be honest it hasn t
changed. I remember one day in particular; I was chasing my cousin and as I ran
by my mom and aunt, my mom said, See look at her feet. I didn t understand it at
the time but something was wrong with me and she knew it. Convincing the
doctors and others was the challenge. I walked funny and the consequences of this
birth defect made me get braces. People would consider this a burden but my
braces made me stronger and determined to push on. My preschool years where the
hardest for me to deal with physically; my mom didn t know what was wrong and I
was in and out of the hospitals every weekend from the age of three to the age of ten.

My little bubble would be busted shortly after. Just one week into first grade I was
introduced to the meaning of a bully. I was picked on a lot because of the way I
walked and the weird braces on my legs. It was the first time that I had thought that
my braces might not be the best in the universe after all. I even begged my mom to
not make me wear them. She wouldn t listen and I resented her for it. I didn t
understand at the time that she was making me wear them so I could be stronger
in the long run. I only had two friends in Bliss but to this day I am so grateful for
their support. They defended me when I was getting picked on and never passed
judgment about the way I walked. I remember one time when we where on the
play ground. Casey and Dylan where the definition of cowboys so of course we
where playing cowboys I was the horse because my braces sounded like a horse
walking on pavement when they clicked together and they were the cowboys
trying to get me into the pen. As we were playing some older kids came up to us
and started making fun of me and my braces. My nights in shinning armor came
around from the other side of the jungle gym and told the older kids to leave me
alone. They didn t of course and the teacher on yard duty ended up getting involved
but that memory still sticks with me because they cared and they tried to help. I d

Nelson Mandela Traits
John Maxwell once said, A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and
shows the way. This quote perfectly describes Nelson Mandela. Mandela was a great
leader because he was aware, decisive, and empathetic. Some wonderful examples of
Nelsons traits are found in the movie Invictus. Imagine South Africa, still in peril, just
after Nelson was elected. This is what Invictus focuses on, and especially on what
he did with rugby to unite the country. One of Nelson Mandela s greatest traits was
his awareness. To start, he realized that changing the Springboks would tear the
nation apart. Since the team represented numerous quality ideas to white people, he
went to the meeting to stop the changing o the Springboks. If he had not stopped
this, the country in peril would collapse even more. In addition, he noticed the
multitude of empty rooms in his office. To perform his near miracle of joining the
country, he needed as many people as possible. So, it was important that he had a
meeting to tell everyone to stay if they felt they could work with him. Also, he sent
the Springboks to the township in view of the fact that the blacks were... Show more

First, he always asked his bodyguards how their families are. He even asked one
time about a bodyguard, Linga, about his mother, as if he knew about what sickness
Linga s mother had. This is amazing to most people, as family matters are usually
separate from work. Second, he connected with all the rugby players. Just to have a
connection with these men, Mandela learned fifteen full names. Not even that, he
had tea with Francois to talk with him. This is a prime example of forgiveness
because he would cheer against these some of these people in jail. Third, he built a
forgiving rainbow nation. He talked about forgiving whites because they are no
longer anyone s enemy. This created unity within the community. Nelson Mandela s
compassion was a magnificent
Kuiper Belt Research Papers
The Kuiper Belt is a belt like disc in our outer Solar System that extends from the
orbit of Neptune at about 30 astronomical units (AU) from the Sun to
approximately 50 AU [1]. It is like a larger version of the asteroid belt, and is
mostly made up of remnants of the formation of our Solar system [2]. As the Kuiper
Belt gets further away from the Sun, it also becomes denser. At its section that
should be the densest it instead stops suddenly, and this abrupt ending is known as
the Kuiper Cliff. The reason for this dramatic falloff is thus unknown [3], but there
is one interesting theory. Patryk Lykawka of Kobe University claims that the
gravitational pull of a so far unseen planet may be responsible for the behavior of the

Just because the planet is not within what we call the Goldilocks Zone does not
mean that there is no possibility for life. Some television shows and movies have
theorized that not all life may be carbon based like the life on our planet is. The
conditions and atmosphere of a planet in the outer reaches of our solar system might
be ideal for a strain of life that we have never considered. If they are able to conceal
a whole planet from us, then these aliens would likely have superior knowledge and
technology than us. These hidden aliens could be responsible for all sorts of strange
phenomenon that occur, everything from UFO sightings and alleged abductions, to
the disappearance of historical figures and what we refer to as lost
Model Rocket Research Paper
Model Rocket. It was his first time traveling alone, when he had to go observe
some model rockets launches at Swan Falls Idaho. Just a distance of about fifty
miles seemed like a path of no return, because he did not know the place, nor the
way. Quiet and reverent, no music in the car, following the direction of the GPS
carefully, his mind was well set. It was six in the morning. The outside was still
dark. Every other vehicle he could see was a rocket. Every other sound he heard
besides his own car s was a rocket s explosion. This rocket jubilee began turning to
a bitterness when the direction of the GPS changed, and he got on a road with no
lights, the darkness was not yet eradicated completely. It was no more a town but a

What kind of rocket are you trying to build? she asked. Just a simple small one Well,
there are lots of kinds of small model rockets. Can you come this way, let s look at
some kinds of engines, so I can get an idea of what you re looking for, that way, I ll
be able to help you. To be honest with you Mam, I do not know what I really want,
all I need is to get stuff listed in here and be able to build a rocket and be able to fly
it, the prospector said. Ok, I ll help you get things you need. He purchased some of
the parts such as the engine holder assembly, the engine itself, the body tube, the

Wijoon, a writer at Instructables, explains and demonstrate how to build a model
rocket step by step. He writes that building a model rocket is a fun pastime, but it
can be easy for someone new to the hobby to make a mistake (Wijoon). Being that
it is a hazardous activity, it is crucial to know and follow all the steps when building
and launching a model rocket, in order to avoid serious injuries as a result of
The Benefits Of Extracurricular Activities
In the United States, 57 percent of high school students participate in at least one
kind of extracurricular activity (Bureau UC). Through extracurricular activities, youth
have opportunities to develop very important life skills. Through participating in an
activity that requires time outside of the normal school hours, students can learn to
manage their time more efficiently. They must also develop rigorous study habits to
perform well in the classroom as well as in their chosen activity or activities. Through
team oriented activities and clubs, students must learn to work with others and attain
interpersonal skills, along with a solid work ethic. Such activities provide a different
type of environment than the classroom provides, and help them to become
comfortable in various situations. There are many proven benefits when teens
participate in extracurricular activities; such benefits include improved physical well
being, higher self esteem, academic excellence, important social skills, and
preparation to succeed not only school, but other settings as well. Extracurricular
activities are activities that are facilitated by adult supervisors and are conducted
outside of school hours. Examples of some such activities include sports teams,
debate teams, choir, orchestra, band, dance, cheer, and numerous clubs. Through
participation in extracurricular activities, youth can develop good health habits, even
if the activity or club does not include physical activity. In the world today, many kids
waste a great deal of time just looking at the screen of their smartphone, or sitting in
front of a television set. A lot of time may also be spent out with friends. When kids
are out participating in different after school activities, they are not only practicing
good habits and spending their time on positive developmental activities, but they can
discover activities that they really like and may not otherwise have tried. They can
find something that interests them and spend time practicing skills and discovering
their passions. Through extracurricular activities, students have opportunities to learn
things outside the classroom in a hands on experience. Being involved in these
activities enhances intrinsic motivation

Distributive Justice Theory
According to Kreitner Kinicki (2013, p. 215), Distributive justice reflects the
perceived fairness of how resources and rewards are distributed or allocated.
A time in which distributive justice was applied at my job was during a time in
which I worked with for a medical facility call center. While employed there, several
workers within the division held equivalent job titles and were hired to perform the
same daily tasks. However, there were some employees that held a seniority status
and our pay rates were different based on our education and experience. Although, our
working efforts and methods of completing work was highly different.
Throughout each day, we all were assigned the same tasks to complete. In regards to
the tasks we had a quota to meet and or exceed. A lot of the employees exemplified
professionalism, organization, time management, and dedication. However, there
were staff within our division that felt they took precedence because of their
longevity within the division. The seasoned staff felt that due to them being there for
so long they were accustomed to taking excessive smoke breaks, hardly meeting
quota, excessive long lunch breaks, and consistently watched Netflix and played
online games. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Also management noted, if you took advantage of the added trainings, classes,
special projects, and constructive feedback. Moreover, during performance
evaluations, they determined your salary increases, promotions to team leads,
bonuses, and other incentives. Therefore despite others not completing tasks and
slacking on their duties, they were reprimanded. So I felt that they treated workers
fair and based your rewards fairly from your work performance and efforts.
Motivated employees highly excelled in this
Ancient Rome And Its Effects On The World
Ancient Rome was built on hills, the people living on the top of the hills, and farming
closer to the bottom. The climate of Ancient Rome was humid and cool and ranged
from 55 to 95 Fahrenheit year round. The Alps to the far north of Rome protected
them from threats coming from North Europe, while not isolating them on the
peninsula. Being on the Italian peninsula was useful for trading and sailing to other
areas in the Mediterranean to conquer land. Rome did not trade as much as some
other civilizations around the Mediterranean such as the Egyptians. Most people in
Ancient Romewere farmers and sold most of what they grew to the markets. Rich
landowners had lots of land and either rented it to poorer farmers, or had their many
slaves farm it for them. Some wealthier shopkeepers sailed around the Mediterranean
trading for papyrus and similar items that ordinary people could afford; however,
some traders went further into the Indian Ocean, or West Asia, some traders even
imported silk all the way from China, which only the richest could afford.
The richest and most powerful people in Ancient Rome were the patricians. The
patricians were the wealthiest and were usually part of the Senate, or other
governmental figures. Each year an assembly of the citizens and equites/landowners
would vote new members of the Senate into office. The social structure of Ancient
Rome was a hierarchy. The highest class were the patricians, followed by the
plebeians, who were ordinary citizens

Hey Jude
Hey Jude Song analysis
Hey Jude is a song by the English rock band The Beatles and was written by Paul
McCartney. It was first released in August 1968 under The Beatles label Apple
Records . Hey Jude runs for 7mins and 11secs and at the time of release was the
longest single to top the British charts.
The song is said to have evolved from hey Jules , a song that had been written as a
ballad to comfort Lennon s son Julian during his parents divorce. McCartney said,
I started with the idea Hey Jules, which was Julian, don t make it bad, take a sad song
and make it better. Hey, try and deal with this terrible thing. I knew it was not going
to be easy for him. I always feel sorry for kids in divorces ... I had the idea [for ...

This is however broken at the end of this verse as there is one bar added.
Harmonically to do this the final verse chord is turned into a V/IV allowing the
chordal structure to smoothly transition from verse to bridge.
Bridge 1:
As a result of the verse having a bar added to the end, the first phrase of both
bridges have 5 bars thus mimicking the lead in from verse to bridge making the
song stable again. Harmonically the start and the end of both bridges tonally are
quite unstable. The bridge is an unusual 11 and a half measures long and sees the
introduction of a walking Bass line and drums with emphasis on tapping cymbals.
Melodically the main vocal tends to fall throughout the most part of the bridge, barely
rising until the major melody swell that leads to the next verse.
Verse 3:
Verse 3 has the addition of backing vocals in thirds. There is also the introduction
of a stray backing vocal as well. The stray vocal so let it out and let it in leads into
the lyrical ideas found in the next bridge. The tambourine in this verse is more
frequent and played now as semi quavers.
Bridge 2: Bridge 2 mirrors bridge 1 harmonically and musically with only slight
variance in lyrics and slightly more ornate lead vocals with more passing notes but
still sticking to the diatonic Fmajor the majority of the time..
Verse 4:
In verse 4 there is a vocal ornamentation of the initial Hey Jude phrase,

From the observations of the reactions of alkali metals, it is conspicuous potassium
was the most reactive due to the fact the reaction between water and potassium was
immensely more vigorous the other alkali metals. Additionally, there was a burst of
sparks and flames in the potassium reaction also a great amount of bubbling and gas
formed, greater than the other reactions. The reaction partaken between sodium and
water was seemingly not as reactive as potassium, from the experiment it can be
inferred that only sparks and some formation of gas and bubbling were observed.
Moreover, lithium was the least reactive, there were no sparks or flames evident,
rather only a small amount of bubbling and formation of gas occurred.
With the alkaline earth metals, the reactivity of the elements was tested in both water
and distilled hydrochloric acid. The reaction of calcium was observed to be more
vigorous and overall more reactive than magnesium. In the test between calcium and
water, there was bubbling, and formation of gas observed, additionally, when a

A Study On Using Instant Messaging
In today s world, everyone is surrounded by technology everywhere for example, our
smart phones can connect to the web along with instant messaging to anywhere in the
world. A study by Levine, Waite, and Bowman examines how the relationship
between the new collaborative technologies such as instant messaging (IMing) have
great impact of the capability of students to stay concentrated on their academic tasks.
Accordingly, the authors not only examined the consequences on continuous
interruptions of IMing however, they also explored at the consequences of
multitasking with their schoolwork. In the study, it was hypothesized that those
students who spent a huge amount of time on IMing, they have a tough time focusing
on their school tasks such as academic reading. The method authors used to test their
hypothesis was by making students to do survey that have 55 item questionnaire that
is structured to find out how much each student use electronic media in terms of
IMing and what are the few ways they are using instant messaging.
Method
The study of IMing survey was participated by students who were primarily White

and 46 male college students from psychology classes were requested to share their
experiences about the IMing habits where they also received extra course points for

Moreover the annual cost of around ВЈ37 million is good value for money. In any
case, Monarchy is meant to be majestic, yet there seems to be a deliberate move to
diminish the majesty of the Monarchy. So long as the Monarch remains a symbol of
the nation, then no expense should be spared. A nation which values itself will treat
its national icons with prestige and respect.
In addition The Monarch is a national icon. An icon which cannot be replaced
adequately by any other politician or personality. This is because the British
Monarchy embodies British history and identity in all its aspects, both good and bad.
When you see the Queen you not only see history since 1952, when she took the
throne, but you see a person who provides a living sense of historical continuity with
the past. A living continuity between the past, the present and the future. That s
something that no politician can provide. All politicians come and go, but Monarchy
is forever. With its traditions, its history, its ceremonial, and with its standing and
respect throughout the world, the British Monarchy represents a unique national
treasure, without which the United Kingdom would be sorely impoverished.
The monarchy has existed in its current form since the 10th century. Although the
monarch plays only a ceremonial role, having lost all political power, the monarch is
still the head of state. This basically makes the case that inheritance of public office

The Role Of Television In Presidential Debates
The rise of popularity in presidential television debates leads one to the question of
it having a positive and or negative impact on candidates campaigns. Television
allowed people to see the debate in a new perspective, visually, however it idolizes
and highlights candidates to make them seem as if they are celebrities, instead of
focusing on their intellect and topics to improve the nation. Therefore one can see the
impacts of televisionas negative, for the media is downplaying the actual value of
presidential campaigns and focusing on less important irrelevant entertaining topics.
Television is taking the serious main focus of presidential debates and devaluing it to
minimize the whole picture as well as focus on unnecessary entertaining matters, for a

Bullfighting Essay
Bullfighting
The origins of bullfighting can be traced back to prehistoric times. The Greeks
sacrificed bulls for religious reasons, but in its earliest forms, bullfighting did not
even involve humans. The bull was often put into a small enclosure with another
predatory animal, such as a tiger or lion, and the beasts fought to the death. The
spectacle eventually evolved into a struggle between man and bull gaining
similarities with what we know today as bullfighting. Along with these changes came
the spectacle and formalities that are now an integral part of the corrida de toros.
Arguably, the first of the modern bullfight took place in Vera, LogroГ±o, Spain in

The matadors finish off the bull in the third stage. If a matador is gored, one of the
other matadors must finish fighting the bull. Therefore, six bulls and three matadors
participate in every corrida.
In the preliminary stage (well, I lied there are actually four stages but the
preliminary is not really considered one of the tercios), large capes, usually
magenta and gold, are flashed before the bull. This is done in order to see how the
bull will react. The bullfighters watch the bull closely to form a strategy for engaging
it in the ring. If the bull is too timid, the fight could be boring because the bull will
not charge when provoked, not allowing the matador to make skillful passes.
However, if the bull is too aggressive, the fight may be too dangerous for the
matador and he may have to kill the bull quickly. This is also an undesirable result.
An ideal bull is one that is brave but the matador is able to manipulate. This allows
the matador to show his artistry and skill in controlling the bull.
During the first stage, or tercio de varas, the picadores ride into the ring on

Stuart Hall has posited that the concepts of individual dream states can be brought
on a macroscopic scale to media text. In particular, nightmares of individuals, can be
related to the semiological analysis of a given media text in relation to dominant
ideology and culture in general. His main points in this are twofold, first is to point
out that the more horrible and nightmarish a media scenario (i.e. story) is, the more
difficult it is to de construct the ideological markers that serve as the basis for the
text. The second, and perhaps more important, is that the ideological representation in
the nightmarerepresents a repressed wish of society and has increased threat to the
dominant class, or the bourgeois.

Twin peaks contains the most un resolvable of conflicts in the conflict between
order, and disorder. In this it stands in opposition to Fisk s argument that a television
text must have multiple resolutions to conflict, to allow for the hegemonically
oppressed sub groups in the audience to find their own meanings and thus assert their
unique social identity. A media text will of course be polysemic, however by de
construction, one can only find meanings one is predisposed to find due to the
dominant ideology one is part of. Fisk indeed seems to assert the weakness in his
essay of what Disorder... focuses on. It is those departures from order and dominance
toward chaos that create discomfort, and surprise. This serves to illustrate those
norms and cultural expectations which are in place, and are necessary to associate
meaning. It is in this where Fisk fails in that polysemy in fact only illustrates that
Dominant ideology is present, and inescapable. With his focus on heteroglot
language, it argues for the inescapable nature of hegemonic control. Different tools of
hegemony such as legitimate language, socioeconomic status, education, etc. are all
factors that influence the totality of signifiers and communication that create
heteroglot language. In this, disorder is a stronger argument in
Comparison Of Bastille Day And US Independence Day
Bastille Day and U.S. Independence Day are two holidays that celebrate the
beginning of big changes. One is celebrated in France, and the other is celebrated in
the United States. They both have interesting origins, traditions, and symbols. Today
I will share with you the rich history of these holidays, and how they are alike and
different.
Bastille Day is celebrated in France on July 14th every year. It began when France
was running low on funds and the King fixed the issue by heavily taxing the lower
class. The lower class, or the Third Estate was not content with this action. King
Louis XVI decided to hold a meeting called the Estates General. The Estates General
was made up of three groups. The First, Second, and Third Estates. The ... Show more

For example, the parades themselves are quite different. In France the parade is
very respective as they are showing off their military, but in the US they throw
candy, have clowns, and cheer. Another contrast between these are a few of their
symbols. Frances two symbols are Bastille the jail, and the holiday itself. When they
stormed into Bastille and released the prisoners, it was like a metaphor. The prison
stood for the King, and the escaped prisoners represented them escaping the Kings
corrupt system. It gave them hope that could successfully break free from the Kings
rule. Their other symbol, is Bastille Day itself because it symbolizes the start of the
French Revolution. For the Americans, the colors of their flag and the bald eagle
are their symbols. The bald eagle is the country s official bird, it represents how
strong and independent the country is. Their other symbol is the colors of the flag.
The white represents purity and innocence. Red represent hardiness and valor, and
blue signifies vigilance, perseverance and justice. You can see many people wearing
these colors on the Fourth of
To Kill A Mockingbird Point Of View Essay
Scout s unique point of view, which is an unbiased first person with two
perspectives, is developed in To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee through the use
of a flashback structure, plot development, and the specific point of view. To start
off, the frame story within the flashback structure helps shape the story s point of
view. In this specific frame story, an older Scout is positively looking back on her
childhood, with her younger self telling the experiences that led to her brother, Jem,
breaking his arm. At the beginning of the novel, she said, When enough years had
gone by to enable us to look back on them, we sometimes discussed the events
leading to his accident (Lee 3). This quote specifically takes the readers to a moment

If this had been told from older Scout s perspective, she would have known what she
had done and directly stated it, rather than indirectly describing what she saw.
From older Scout s perspective at the beginning of the novel, she spoke with her
brother about their childhood much later in life and said, Maycomb was an old
town, but it was a tired old town when I first knew it (Lee 6). Scout, at her older
age, thought in depth about what Maycomb was like for her more than she did when
she was younger, specifically seen in the words tired and old . Not only that, but
older Scout spoke in the past tense, something younger Scout would generally not do
since she focused on what was occurring around her rather than contemplating what
already happened. The diction used in both perspectives helps to make the point of
view more unique by showing the innocent differences between the two related yet
different perspectives. These specific examples help support the unique point of view
in the book and show how it is shaped through the structure, developed through the
plot, and related through the diction used in both

A sudden feeling of ecstasy; all of your senses are changed, transformed, falsely

not blue with melancholy, this blue is the blue that knows you and where you live

Impact Of Land Use In Buganda
The essay seeks to discuss the impact of colonial land tenure reforms on the land
use in Buganda region. The essay is structured in way that it will provide a historical
overview of Buganda region both before and after the advent of colonialism, and then
it will provide the section of implications of the tenure reforms on the land use during
the colonial period and post colonial Buganda. There a number of contemporary
debates over the land use in Buganda region from scholars, Non Government
Organizations and development specialists who argue that while the land was
available for communal use in customary tenure systems in Buganda, the introduction
of privatized propertyrights played the key role in constraining agricultural production
and causing land conflicts. Does this imply that the current problems of unproductive
land use and conflicts in Buganda region have much to do with the British colonial
reforms? The essay will seek to present a detailed account on the question.
When Uganda became a British protectorate at the end of the nineteenth century, one
of the major interventions by the British on the land use was the introduction in 1900
a formalized individual private property ownership in Buganda. In Uganda, land is ...

Deskilling makes the employees easily replaceable, in turn decreasing the price of
labour allowing owners to benefit. Scientific management is commonly applied to
modern day call centres, for instance, supervisory checks on recorded phone
conversations. This allows methods to be routine and standardized as implemented
by the management. (Robbins Barnwell, 2006). This leads to the corrosion of the
thought process thus resulting in deskilling and making workers easily replaceable.
Resistance is the outcome of conflict of interests between entities. The modernist
perspective assumes that everyone shares the same objective and reality (French,
2005). In general, modernist views resistance as a process that hinders workplace
efficiency and ultimately blurs organisational goals (Crowther Green, 2008).
Resistance can come in many forms of conflict such as overt and covert acts,
individual or collective. Modernist views resistance displayed greatly affects the
organisational productivity, because the deliberate worsening of work performance
will be unfavourable to organisational goals. Critical theorists believe resistance is the
result of conflict and it is essential for the deliverance of the dominated, thus fulfilling
human ethics and realizing
Pursuing Dentistry
As I continue to get older my plans are to pursue dentistry. Dentists and dental
hygienist are often confused with each other. A dentist is a doctor who specializes
in oral health. They examine teeth and have the ability and credentials to diagnose
oral diseases such as gingivitis. The overall job of a dentist is to make sure there
are no oral problems that may affect the patients health, and if is a problem is
present they are to find a solution to the problem. A dentist is highly qualified;
however, there is a long process to gain the credentials. In order to enter dental

Analysis Of The Book American Writers
Out of all the amazing American writers no one compares to S.E. Hinton, better
known as Susan Eloise Hinton. Early life of Ms. Hinton was no different from
anyone else. Susan Hinton wrote a lot of amazing and inspiring books; her books
were also about teens. Whether you are intrigued by the early life, works, or about
her writings of S.E. Hinton you will learn that she leads a remarkable life. Hinton
was born July 22, 1950 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She attended Will Rogers High School
this is where most of her writings were based from. While she was in high school,
she started her first draft, and also one of her books The Outsiders was published
in 1967. This book was actually based on her high school when the blue collar
families which were called Greasers yet on the other side of town were the Socs
which were rich from the money in the oil in the area. The Socs wore expensive
clothes, and drove nice cars (Smith). Hinton wrote books with the narrators as
males, and she did not think boys would read her books because she was a woman
writer, so she used her initials as her pen name so readers wouldn t know she was a
woman writer. Hinton met a boy in her biology class as a freshman, he became the
inspiration of her second book ,and helped her with her writer s block by making
her write until she got to two pages before they would go out on a date and if she

Example Of Syntactical Ambiguity
4. CLARITY. In order for our writing to be clear there are some common discursive
elements that the user must avoid. Some of those elements have relevance in writing
but they would only confuse the reader in smaller work. As the Style Guide for The

conveys readers comprehending our message effortlessly; writingproperly involves
successful communication.

Cain s Jealousy Of Abel
Cain s Jealousy of Abel Cain in Genesis 4:1 2 was the first son of Adam and Eve
and the elder brother of Abel. Cain and Abel offered offerings to God and God
looked with favor on Abel and offering, but God did not look with favor on Cain
and his offering. He became angry and jealous of his brother. He invited his
brother out to the field and there he attacked and killed him. Instead of Cain to
make amends by offering what would be acceptable to God to secure the favor of
God, he compared himself with Abel, became jealous and eventually became a
murderer and a lair. This made God to curse him. Gen 4:11 12; the Lord said; Now
you are under a curse and driven from the ground which opened its mouth to receive
your brother s blood from your hand.
Pros And Cons Of Understanding Human Rights
1.1.1Understanding Human Rights
Human rights are considered as universal, inalienable, interdependent and indivisible
Thus, Human rights are inherent entitlements that belong to every person as a
consequence of being human (ULAED extracted XXXXX). They are expressed in
treaties and other sources of law at the national, regional and international levels
(NGLS 2008). A series of international human rightstreaties and other instruments
adopted since 1945 have conferred legal form on inherent human rights and
developed the body of international human rights.
States Parties have specific obligations to respect, protect and fulfill the rights
contained in the conventions (UNDP 2005). Failure to uphold obligations and duties
create violation of IHRL and IHL. Such violation requires remedy, particularly the
legal one.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights article eight provides that the competent
court of the State is entitled to an effective remedy for violations of the fundamental
rights conferred by the Constitution or the law (UDHR 1948). Likewise, article two
of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights 1966 ensures that any
person claiming such a remedy is entitled to be provided by the competent judicial, ...

The Importance Of A 3d Supportive Structure
As mentioned before, in tissue regeneration is of crucial importance the use of a 3D
supportive structure because when cells are seeded into these scaffolds enables the
proliferation of cells and chondrogenic differentiation; and with it the three
dimensional tissue formation. Scaffolds must be able to withstand physiological
loading until sufficient tissue regeneration occurs. Moreover, the material must be
sufficiently porous to allow for effective transport of nutrients. Finally, it should be
biocompatible and, if biodegradable, degrade as the tissue matrix is produced leaving

The War of Currents (Thomas Edison vs. Nikola Tesla)
Thomas Edison was not the true inventor and genius behind the light bulb because his
inventions did not severely affect the world and was not the man that we think of

1880 s and beyond like no other. The War of Currents was a rivalry that broke out

The Chicago World Exposition was a noteworthy event during the time period and
whoever got the contract to light up the fair was said to be the true genius behind
electricity; competition was extremely fierce and confidence and dedication from
both parties finally resulted in a win for Westinghouse and Tesla. After a long dispute
with Thomas Edison about the best way to distribute electricity, Westinghouse had
won the contract to power the fair (McPherson 6). Unfortunately, this proved that
Edison had lost the battle; the DC was not the solution to triumph for the future of
the United States giving Nikola Tesla and George Westinghouse the path to the
future of a technology that revolutionized history. The Tesla Coil was another
device that Tesla innovated later in his career; this was capable of producing high

technology more efficient. According to the Unarius Academy of Science, To Tesla,
earth or ground was a better conductor of electrical energy than was the air or
atmosphere! He was a brilliant pioneer investigating new avenues of mechanical and
electrical resonances and introducing new ways to use electrical energy ( Tesla Coil ).

The Balkan Of World History
If one was to ask the experienced historian Andrew Watchtel, author of the book The
Balkan in World History , about the most peculiar aspect of East Central Europe,
odds are, he would refer to its cultural layering. Watchtel use the term cultural
layering to define the collage of cultures that have fused over time in this region.
This cultural layering found in East Central Europe is reflected more evidently with
the infrastructure, language roots, and religion of the Balkan area. The Roman,
Byzantine, and Ottoman empires were the ones that for diverse reasons left a more
lasting impression in this area. To be more specific, by means of architecture, the
province of Plovdiv, Bulgariais the perfect example on how these three empires left...

At last, the Roman set the Danube River as the empire s limit or natural divisor from
the northern European unconquered territories by building limes or fortified borders.
As Rome added new provinces to the empire set Greek as the official language of
the Eastern part and built infrastructure throughout the region. Before incorporating
the Balkan Region into the empire, Latin was the only official language in the
empire. However, the language used in the Balkans area was mostly Greek, so
Romans decided set Greekas the the official language of the Eastern part of the
empire. Jean Sedlar, author of the book, East Central European in Middle Ages,
estimated that one reason of doing so may be because the Romans admired for the
Greek civilization (Bideleux and Jeffries 1998, 42). Moreover, his conjecture may
be correct, due to the fact that the Roman culture was based on Greek background.
Therefore, most of the Eastern part of the empire used Greek as the official
language, but the Dacia province was the exception where the Romanian developed,
a romance or Latin derived language. One of the myriads of examples of Roman
architecture can be reflected with the Plovdiv Aqueduct located in present day
Plovdiv, Bulgaria or the Ancient Roman province of Thracia.
Secondly, the Byzantine Empire, also referred as the Eastern Roman Empire
expanded to parts of Eastern Central Europe as a measure of gaining control over the
Holy Roman Empire. Byzantium was
Iodine 131 s Atomic Structure
Iodine 131 s atomic structure has 5 energy levels in total. The first energy level
has 2 electrons, second energy level has 8 electrons, third energy level has 18
electrons, fourth energy level has 18 electrons and finally the fifth energy level
has 7 electrons. The radioisotope has a half life of 8.0 days and every half life in
the radioactive Iodine is reduced by 50%, however, the other 50% does not
become part of Iodine 131 because it becomes stable. The radioisotope has 53
protons and 78 neutrons in total. It has a blackish colour to it. Its chemical form is
a water soluble salt. The nuclear decay equation is 131/53I в†’ 131/54Xe + 0/ 1E.
The radioisotope s mass number is 131 and its atomic symbol is I131. The
radioisotope is a gamma and beta emitting isotope. Furthermore, the beta emission is
the destructive component of the radioisotope. This is supported by the fact that Beta
emission is an electron that is ejected from the nucleus which is very ionizing. The
aspect also makes beta electrons very destructive to thyroidtissue as it concentrates
the iodine 200x more than any tissue in order to make thyroxine which is an
endocrine hormone to regulate at the rate of metabolic processes.
This radioisotope is employed in medicine to monitor thyroid gland functioning to
treat goitre, thyroid cancer, locate tumours of the brain and liver. Iodine 131 is used
in investigations to trace the course of compounds in metabolism. Several iodine
compounds are used as contrast mediums
Chetan Bhagat As A Social Character Analysis
The novel is essentially a social form. It explores the condition of the human beings
through the mental struggle and body language, quite before they get into action. It is
like focusing on the stalking of the lion rather than pouncing upon the prey.4 (Singh:
2004, 2)
Bhagat strives to describe the mental stirrings of his human resources. His characters
read the words and foresee the action. Therefore, novel is a wide ranging literary
form. It is a derivative of the Italian word novella , which means to portray a short,
compact and broadly realistic story. It deals with a human character in a social
situation, man as a social being. It places more weight on character, especially one
attractive character, than on plot. Anita Singh highlights ... Show more content on

He has endowed the genre with healthy comedy and optimistic approach to life. Like
R. K. Narayan, he does not create Malgudi village and pick up the characters from
here. He chooses the human resources from the real life metropolis. His novels go
around the lives of the youth. He exactly portrays their real life pictures and
entertains all class and cadre of people. Bhagat writes about the youth and
especially for the youth. However, the people of all age groups love to read him.
Everyone experiences as if Bhagat writes to him. He writes so simple that
everyone likes him. It is reported that Bhagat s Five Point Someone is set for some
tribal children. Perhaps, this has happened first time in the history that an Indian
English novel referred to the youth has been given to teach English, the tribal
children of the primary school. First time, Bhagat has exposed the rubbish coated
with pseudo wisdom cream of the top institute of the country, IIT. Unlike Tagore
and his contemporaries, Bhagat is in support of realism in art. His artistic truth lies
within sensory insight. It guides his readers to achieve self enlightenment. Unlike
Tagore, Bhagat wants not only man but also truth in literature. Character is the soul
of Bhagat s novels. The plot that is the story is the second important element. So,
character is prior to the plot. His novel Five Point Someone was published in 2004
and is still on peak selling list. It got him the Society Young Achiever s Award in the
year 2004 and the Publisher s Recognition Award in the year
The Discovery Of Gene Therapy
The word science comes from the Latin word to know (Science Made Simple, 2014).
In
1953, Watson and Crick discovered one of the biggest mysteries of the human
body; the DNA double helix (Nobel Prize.org, 2014). The discovery reshaped
biology and the way scientists viewed how biological information was stored and
processed (Nobel Prize. org, 2014). Once the double helix was discovered new
information about genes and protein synthesis quickly followed
(NLM, 2014). This new knowledge about genes made scientists look at the
biological processes in new ways (Nobel Prize.org, 2014). One of the biggest
breakthroughs was the development
Gene Therapy. This paper will demonstrate how Gene Therapyis an important step in
revolutionizing medicine and treating disease. It is believed that Gene Therapy holds
the key to permanently curing disease.
Gene Therapy Researchers have been trying to find new ways to cure disease for
centuries. Gene Therapy seems to hold the key to make this a reality. Gene
Therapy is still in its early stages and is still considered an experimental technique
(NLM, 2014). Yet it holds the ability to treat and prevent disease (NLM, 2014). The
procedure uses a corrected gene and inserts it into a person instead of using drugs or
surgery (NLM, 2014). There are different techniques of Gene Therapy which could
include replacing mutated genes with healthy genes or even introducing new genes
into the body to help fight disease
Leadership Development Pl Leadership Plan Essay
Running head: LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PLAN1 LEADERSHIP
DEVELOPMENT PLAN5 My Development Plan The specific LEADERSHIP
TASK AREAS I want to address Mentoring / Coaching Employee / One on one

improve myself confidence to handle emotions of employees, and one on one

like school teacher. Teacher treat all the student equally and give similar knowledge
to all. Teacher pretend that they give hard time to student but in reality, they make
student stronger physically and mentally both. I will likewise be much the same as
them to tutor my workers. To mentor my worker, I would begin with the slightest
troublesome things and step by step increment the challenges in that specific zone. Be
this activity they can learn by time and get each part of the preparation time by time.
Managing change, Strategic planning, Conflicts, Team Building: To oversee conflict
circumstance, my activity would be listen the both sides first on the grounds that
without knowing the entire situation and the base of that issue, I can t settle on
judgments or any choices. At that point make the both sides realize not to make such
climate again in light of the fact that different workers can receive this conduct and
as a originator, I dislike that. I will make this discussion
Sleep Is The Unsung Hero Of Our Lives
Sleep is the unsung hero of our lives. We simply cannot function without it. We
make it extremely difficult on ourselves when we decide to play on our electronic
devices rather than sleep. The blue light emitted from the device tricks our brains
into thinking its daytime making it harder to fall asleep. Lack of sleep decreases
your ability to learn, focus, have a positive attitude and it puts you at risk for
diseases such as depression and A.D.D. The problem presented was that if
electronics are used for an hour before bed will it affect your sleep patterns. The
hypothesis was if electronics are used for an hour before bed then the person s
sleep pattern will change because the blue light emitted from an electronic device
alters the amount of melatonin in your body which allows your body to know
when to fall asleep. The hypothesis was correct. Those who didn t use electronics
an hour before bed got at least one more hour of sleep than those who did.
Introduction In our lives we come in contact with all different types of stress.
Teens have homework, sports and friends to keep them busy while adults have
their jobs, bills and many other stressors. What if you could reduce some of that
stress? One of the best ways to help cease the stress is sleep. Our body needs sleep
to function. Without it we cannot focus in class, we do our work responsibilities
sloppily and we

The difficulty lies not only in the sheer length but also in the requirement to sustain a coherent and engaging argument throughout the entirety of the paper. Crafting an essay of this magnitude demands thorough research, critical thinking, and effective organization of ideas. One of the primary challenges is managing the vast amount of information that needs to be included while ensuring each point contributes meaningfully to the overall thesis. Striking the right balance between depth and breadth is essential, as excessive detail can lead to a lack of focus, while insufficient coverage may weaken the essay's substance. The task becomes more complex when considering the need for a well-structured and logical flow of ideas. Each section and paragraph must seamlessly connect to the next, guiding the reader through a thoughtfully constructed narrative. Achieving coherence on such a scale requires careful planning and meticulous attention to detail. Moreover, maintaining the reader's interest over the course of ten pages is no small feat. Writers must employ a variety of rhetorical strategies, including compelling introductions, clear transitions, and engaging conclusions. The challenge lies not only in conveying information but also in doing so in a manner that captivates the audience and sustains their attention. Time management is another critical aspect. Given the extensive nature of the assignment, procrastination can quickly become a hindrance. Meeting deadlines and allocating sufficient time for research, drafting, and revision are essential components of successfully navigating the task. In conclusion, writing a 10-page essay requires a combination of research skills, critical thinking, organizational prowess, and effective communication. It's a task that demands dedication, focus, and perseverance. However, for those seeking assistance, there are various resources available, such as HelpWriting.net, where similar essays and much more can be ordered to alleviate the challenges associated with extensive academic writing. 10 Page Essay Example 10 Page Essay Example

Mandela was a great leader because he was aware, decisive, and empathetic. Some wonderful examples of Nelsons traits are found in the movie Invictus. Imagine South Africa, still in peril, just after Nelson was elected. This is what Invictus focuses on, and especially on what he did with rugby to unite the country. One of Nelson Mandela s greatest traits was his awareness. To start, he realized that changing the Springboks would tear the nation apart. Since the team represented numerous quality ideas to white people, he went to the meeting to stop the changing o the Springboks. If he had not stopped this, the country in peril would collapse even more. In addition, he noticed the multitude of empty rooms in his office. To perform his near miracle of joining the country, he needed as many people as possible. So, it was important that he had a meeting to tell everyone to stay if they felt they could work with him. Just to have a connection with these men, Mandela learned fifteen full names. Not even that, he had tea with Francois to talk with him. He talked about forgiving whites because they are no longer anyone s enemy. This created unity within the community. Nelson Mandela s compassion was a magnificent

Kuiper Belt Research Papers The Kuiper Belt is a belt like disc in our outer Solar System that extends from the orbit of Neptune at about 30 astronomical units (AU) from the Sun to approximately 50 AU [1]. It is like a larger version of the asteroid belt, and is mostly made up of remnants of the formation of our Solar system [2]. As the Kuiper Belt gets further away from the Sun, it also becomes denser. At its section that should be the densest it instead stops suddenly, and this abrupt ending is known as the Kuiper Cliff. The reason for this dramatic falloff is thus unknown [3], but there is one interesting theory. The climate of Ancient Rome was humid and cool and ranged from 55 to 95 Fahrenheit year round. The Alps to the far north of Rome protected them from threats coming from North Europe, while not isolating them on the peninsula. Being on the Italian peninsula was useful for trading and sailing to other areas in the Mediterranean to conquer land. Rome did not trade as much as some other civilizations around the Mediterranean such as the Egyptians. Most people in Ancient Romewere farmers and sold most of what they grew to the markets. Rich landowners had lots of land and either rented it to poorer farmers, or had their many slaves farm it for them. Some wealthier shopkeepers sailed around the Mediterranean trading for papyrus and similar items that ordinary people could afford; however, some traders went further into the Indian Ocean, or West Asia, some traders even imported silk all the way from China, which only the richest could afford. The richest and most powerful people in Ancient Rome were the patricians. The patricians were the wealthiest and were usually part of the Senate, or other governmental figures. Each year an assembly of the citizens and equites/landowners would vote new members of the Senate into office. The social structure of Ancient Rome was a hierarchy. The highest class were the patricians, followed by the plebeians, who were ordinary citizens

In particular, nightmares of individuals, can be related to the semiological analysis of a given media text in relation to dominant ideology and culture in general. His main points in this are twofold, first is to point out that the more horrible and nightmarish a media scenario (i.e. story) is, the more difficult it is to de construct the ideological markers that serve as the basis for the text. • 22. Comparison Of Bastille Day And US Independence Day Bastille Day and U.S. Independence Day are two holidays that celebrate the beginning of big changes. One is celebrated in France, and the other is celebrated in the United States. They both have interesting origins, traditions, and symbols. Today I will share with you the rich history of these holidays, and how they are alike and different. Bastille Day is celebrated in France on July 14th every year. It began when France was running low on funds and the King fixed the issue by heavily taxing the lower class. The lower class, or the Third Estate was not content with this action. King Louis XVI decided to hold a meeting called the Estates General. The Estates General was made up of three groups. The First, Second, and Third Estates. The ... The prison stood for the King, and the escaped prisoners represented them escaping the Kings corrupt system. It gave them hope that could successfully break free from the Kings rule. Their other symbol, is Bastille Day itself because it symbolizes the start of the French Revolution. For the Americans, the colors of their flag and the bald eagle are their symbols. To Kill A Mockingbird Point Of View Essay Scout s unique point of view, which is an unbiased first person with two perspectives, is developed in To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee through the use of a flashback structure, plot development, and the specific point of view. To start off, the frame story within the flashback structure helps shape the story s point of view. In this specific frame story, an older Scout is positively looking back on her childhood, with her younger self telling the experiences that led to her brother, Jem, breaking his arm. At the beginning of the novel, she said, When enough years had gone by to enable us to look back on them, we sometimes discussed the events leading to his accident (Lee 3). If this had been told from older Scout s perspective, she would have known what she had done and directly stated it, rather than indirectly describing what she saw. From older Scout s perspective at the beginning of the novel, she spoke with her brother about their childhood much later in life and said, Maycomb was an old town, but it was a tired old town when I first knew it (Lee 6). Scout, at her older age, thought in depth about what Maycomb was like for her more than she did when she was younger, specifically seen in the words tired and old . Not only that, but older Scout spoke in the past tense, something younger Scout would generally not do since she focused on what was occurring around her rather than contemplating what already happened. The diction used in both perspectives helps to make the point of view more unique by showing the innocent differences between the two related yet different perspectives. These specific examples help support the unique point of view in the book and show how it is shaped through the structure, developed through the plot, and related through the diction used in both

At last, the Roman set the Danube River as the empire s limit or natural divisor from the northern European unconquered territories by building limes or fortified borders. As Rome added new provinces to the empire set Greek as the official language of the Eastern part and built infrastructure throughout the region. Before incorporating the Balkan Region into the empire, Latin was the only official language in the empire. However, the language used in the Balkans area was mostly Greek, so Romans decided set Greekas the the official language of the Eastern part of the empire. Jean Sedlar, author of the book, East Central European in Middle Ages, estimated that one reason of doing so may be because the Romans admired for the Greek civilization (Bideleux and Jeffries 1998, 42). Moreover, his conjecture may be correct, due to the fact that the Roman culture was based on Greek background. Therefore, most of the Eastern part of the empire used Greek as the official language, but the Dacia province was the exception where the Romanian developed, a romance or Latin derived language. The aspect also makes beta electrons very destructive to thyroidtissue as it concentrates the iodine 200x more than any tissue in order to make thyroxine which is an endocrine hormone to regulate at the rate of metabolic processes. This radioisotope is employed in medicine to monitor thyroid gland functioning to treat goitre, thyroid cancer, locate tumours of the brain and liver. • 44. The Discovery Of Gene Therapy The word science comes from the Latin word to know (Science Made Simple, 2014). In 1953, Watson and Crick discovered one of the biggest mysteries of the human body; the DNA double helix (Nobel Prize.org, 2014). The discovery reshaped biology and the way scientists viewed how biological information was stored and processed (Nobel Prize. org, 2014). Once the double helix was discovered new information about genes and protein synthesis quickly followed (NLM, 2014). This new knowledge about genes made scientists look at the biological processes in new ways (Nobel Prize.org, 2014). One of the biggest breakthroughs was the development Gene Therapy. This paper will demonstrate how Gene Therapyis an important step in revolutionizing medicine and treating disease. It is believed that Gene Therapy holds the key to permanently curing disease. Gene Therapy Researchers have been trying to find new ways to cure disease for centuries. Gene Therapy seems to hold the key to make this a reality. Gene Therapy is still in its early stages and is still considered an experimental technique (NLM, 2014). Yet it holds the ability to treat and prevent disease (NLM, 2014). The procedure uses a corrected gene and inserts it into a person instead of using drugs or surgery (NLM, 2014). There are different techniques of Gene Therapy which could include replacing mutated genes with healthy genes or even introducing new genes into the body to help fight disease

Lack of sleep decreases your ability to learn, focus, have a positive attitude and it puts you at risk for diseases such as depression and A.D.D. The problem presented was that if electronics are used for an hour before bed will it affect your sleep patterns. The hypothesis was if electronics are used for an hour before bed then the person s sleep pattern will change because the blue light emitted from an electronic device alters the amount of melatonin in your body which allows your body to know when to fall asleep. The hypothesis was correct. Those who didn t use electronics an hour before bed got at least one more hour of sleep than those who did.
