should be noted the ability to make ceramic
dishes for cooking and storing food – narrow
high pitchers decorated with a special lace
ornament, "dzemon". He was present on the

In the Middle Ages, it's time for samurai in Nippon. A power
struggle begins between their families, and the Taira wins it.
The defeated Minamoto clan formed their opposition. The
struggle did not subside, and later the Minamoto overthrew
the rule of the Taira.
In the XII century, the institution of the shogunate was
formed, and a dual power developed in medieval Japan: the
Kyoto emperor and the shogun – in Kamakura, who
represented the interests of the samurai. Samurai and
ordinary people are becoming interested in Buddhism. The
Jodo sect, which preached Amidaism, is popular among
them.
The following schools of Japanese Buddhism are also
becoming famous:

shaken, and the restoration of imperial power took
place with the help of Emperor Meiji. The five-

is heading for liberal democracy and is among the
most influential countries in the world with a high
