Alcohol detection :
● It refers to the identification of alcohol levels in an individual's body
● particularly in the context compliance with laws related to alcohol consumption
● Various methods are employed for alcohol detection, including breath, blood,
urine, and saliva tests
Project description
● The alcohol detection project is proposed to offer several advantages over
existing alcohol detection
● The detection system uses a highly sensitive ethanol mq3 sensor to sense the
presence of alcohol in individuals
● The feedback of sensor is used to cut off power supply or ignition of the
individuals vehicle for traffic safety
Relation to digital
electronics
• Alcohol detectors utilize digital electronics by employing
sensors that generate analog signals,
• it is converted into digital data through Analog-to-Digital
Converters (ADCs).
• digital data is processed by microcontrollers to determine
alcohol concentration levels and trigger appropriate
responses

• to measure the alcohol content in the breath sample.
