called Heavy Dew , this piece was comprised of a six person group dance. The backdrop was a blue
shading. The sounds in this piece were waterfalls, and rainforest sounds. The movements made me
feel as though the dancers were creatures in a wilderness or a rainforest, it was fast paced. For the first
part of the performance the group of girls are dancing in front of the audience together, then as the
music turns to be more serious and intense, there is just one dancer on the stage. Then, once all the
dancers come back onto the stage, the music starts to soften and slow down again and the lights begin
to dim for the remainder of the performance. The second performance was a solo act given the title of

They were expecting to be met by the Tsar, who would be pleased to see and hear them but they were
instead met by soldiers and gunshots. The soldiers were under orders form the Tsar (who was not in
the city at the time) to disperse the protesters using whatever means necessary. The protest turned into

Theodore Roosevelt was an American statesman, explorer, soldier, and naturalist. He is best known for
his conservation efforts and his part in the Spanish American war. Roosevelt established the United
States Forest Service, signed into law the creation of five National Parks, and signed the 1906
Antiquities Act, under which he made 18 new US national monuments. He established also the first 51
Bird Reserves, 4 Game Preserves, and 150 National Forests. He used executive orders a lot on many
occasions to protect forest and wildlife lands during his tenure as President. By the end of his second

to achieve their differing objectives in the Mediterranean.
In North Africa, General Field Marshal Erwin Rommel and his Afrika Korps, allied with the weak
Italian army, had pushed the British eastward into capturing the Western Desert area of Libya and
Alexandria, Egypt [9]. The British Eighth Army was still a viable force in Egypt, but had been on the
defensive for some time and would not regain the initiative until late 1942, with the British victory at

Strategic negotiations between U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt and British Prime Minister Winston
Churchill led to an agreement to send American troops to North Africa in late 1942 to strengthen
British interests in the Mediterranean, and open a second front to take pressure off Russia on the
