the re inspection: 1) HMBP was submitted in the California Environmental Reporting System
(CERS) with updated information for annual certification.
2) The container labeled as Mystik JT 8 Super Heavy Duty Motor Oil was determined to be used oil.
3) All plastic secondary containment berms were cleaned with rags and liquid contained in the drip
pans was poured into the designated hazardous waste container. Per Ricardo Palos, this facility has
a a company,AmeriPride, that services their uniforms and rags.
4) All hazardous waste containers observed missing a hazardous waste label or with a label in poor
conditions:

I know from personal experience that without the proper foundation of information and discipline,

However, by their nature, periphery operations, especially in unlimited war, fail to attack the
enemy s center of gravity and therefore, usually fail to inflict grave damage to the enemy. In
rare cases where sufficient forces are available, such as the Allied invasion of NW Europe in
WWII, truly grave damage can be sufficiently inflicted. But this situation is not usually the case.
Employing amphibious forces also carries a significant risk that damage to one s own forces will
be disproportionate with that inflicted upon the enemy. The Spartan Hoplite invasion of
Sphacteria provides an extreme example where the invading force was isolated and destroyed. A
similar example is the British WWI invasion of Gallipoli. Although not completely destroyed, the
invading force was isolated on the beachhead and severely mauled. Requirements for troop
replenishment and resupply created a festering sore that drained Britain s war effort on a
secondary front removed from Germany, the primary enemy. Damage to the Turkish forces was
not grave and was certainly out of proportion with the cost in any case. The allied invasion at
Anzio in WWII was another similar example of disproportionate cost/benefit, at least in its initial
stages. Finally, embarking upon an amphibious invasion often means opening a second front. Such
a move can have good or bad strategic consequences that impact the relative value of any injury

caused to the foe.

It is important to factor in the coastal settlements which are connected to the city centre as they are

Peripheral intravenous device insertion is the most commonly performed invasive procedure in
hospitalized patients, with an estimated 150 million placed each year in North America alone
(Rickard, McCann, Munnings McGrail, 2010). They are important for maintaining hydration,
administering medications, providing blood and blood products and even nutrition to the patient,
but are not without their complications. These complications include thrombophlebitis, infiltration
and blood stream infection. Thrombophlebitis is among the most common complications of
having intravenous access. Symptoms of phlebitis include pain, redness, tenderness upon
palpation, swelling and warmth at the IV site and are all related to the inflammation of the vein
(Uslusoy Mete, 2008). Several studies were completed with the aim to determine predisposing
factors that lead to a patient developing phlebitis. The other research articles discussed looks at
the acceptance of a policy that is supposed to prevent phlebitis and other complications associated
with IV access. Literature Review Research by Pasalioglu Kaya (2008) looked at factors such as
age, gender, number of catheterizations, the size of the catheter, anatomical site of the IV,
administration of antibiotics, the duration the catheter remained in the vein, the cause of removal
of IV and the level of phlebitis, if present, by utilizing a pre determined staging key (Pasalioglu
