Effective February 15, 2024, the guidelines issued by the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) will ensure credible and reliable environmental claims. Why was this step necessary? Lately, consumers have increasingly shifted towards sustainable or eco-friendly products and services. As a result, there has also been a rise in the products in the market that claim to meet the criteria but without verifiable data.
