Quarterback Analysis
Let me preface this editorial by saying that this is by far the longest position preview of this series.
Quarterback is by far the deepest position group in fantasy football, and you only draft one or two of
them, so hitting on a consistent producer who can deliver high point totals is crucial for your fantasy
title hopes. I would feel comfortable with starting, or having on my team, most of the quarterbacks
that inhabit the first four tiers below. That said, if I pass on the top guys, which is likely, I ll most
likely draft two QB s that I think can be good and platoon them until one emerges as the guy. This
could be a strategy you could use in most formats, unless your league s scoring favors quarterbacks or
you re in a two quarterback league. If you re in a standard league, I would recommend waiting to
select a quarterback until later in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They re widely ranked next to each other in various preseason quarterback rankings, and since some
idiot in your league picked Blake Bortles in front of them, you ll likely have the luxury of being one of
the later drafters to take a quarterback, meaning you can take one of them while also making the rest
of your roster title worthy. Whether they are up, down or tied, both Manning and Rivers have coaching
staffs that love to throw the ball They throw all day everyday. Rivers has proven he can perform at an
elite level with a patchwork combination of weapons and a terrible offensive line. Last year, with a
terrible line, an infirmary at wide receiver and Danny Woodhead, Rivers balled out. Manning plays the
Eagles, Redskins and Cowboys twice, none of which are expected to be elite or even average on
defense, which is where I give him the edge over Rivers. Rivers twice has to go against the top two
fantasy defenses from last year, the Broncos and Chiefs, while also playing a Raiders team that is
expected to be in the top half of the league on that side of the

The Eruption Of Kilauea Volcano
Abstract
The home of Pele, the Hawaiian volcano goddess, Kilauea Volcano has been erupting for the last 30
years. Since January 3, 1983, the world has stopped to look at the lava flowing out of the crevices of
the crater. However, despite the meaning of the name, Kilauea in Hawaiian (which translates to
spewing or much spreading ), many scientists are amazed that the volcano has a continuous flow
(USGS 1,2,3). Nonetheless, as the East Rift Zone spreads, Kilauea has started overflowing; and the
once majestic lava now spills out of Pu u O o Crater into nearby towns. Scientists and citizens
scramble to find the answer: how do we stop a volcanic eruption from destroying nearby civilization
without stopping the natural occurrence?
Kilauea
As the youngest and most southeastern volcano on Hawaii s big island, Kilauea has been suggested to
be the world s most active volcano; having recorded 61 historical eruptions, not including the
continuous lava lake activity in Halema uma u Crater (Life Stages of Hawaiian Volcanoes). Kilauea is
at it s shield forming stage referencing volcanology. During this stage the excretion systems within the
volcanoes are the most efficient at transporting magma to the surface since over 95% of lava gets
erupted. As well as the constant eruption, the magma chamber of the volcano fully develops to serve
as a station for older, less dense magma. The magma chamber migrates upwards as a volcano grows
and the Kilauea volcano magma chamber

Blue Collar Brilliance And The Busy Carter Analysis
Work and leisure, these are two integral parts of human life, however there is much debate about
which of them is more important as well as what the proper balance between them should be. Those
such as Mike Rose and Nicholas Carr, in their articles Blue Collar Brilliance and World and Screen
respectively, emphasis how the benefits of working, physically as well as mentally, are often forgotten.
On the other side, however, Tim Freider in his work The Busy Trap contends that leisure is just as
neglected in our fast paced world. Despite these seemingly different statements, these works share
quite a lot on when looks just below the surface. In Blue Collar Brilliance Mike Rose describes his
appreciation for the often unnoticed intelligence that many blue collar workers posses as well as the
positive impact that physical work can have on the lives of those taking part in it. Nothing he says
encapsulates this more than his description of his uncle Joe working on a car assembly line, For Joe
the shop floor provided what school did not; it was like schooling, he said, a place where you re
constantly learning. Joe Joe learned the most efficient way to use his body with a set of routines that
were quick and preserved energy. (1036). This parallels the findings of Carr in World and Screen
where he describes how by using our ancestral navigation abilities we keep our mind healthy mentally,
by working out the parts of the brain that are in charge of memory, and physically by

Transcendentalism Essay
Transcendentalism
Back in the 1800 s, people trusted in their innersoul. it was called transcendentalism. People like
Emerson and Thoreau were transcendentalism.
They didn t think with their heads. They do things like in their first impression. If they sees that a tree
is violet, they will paint it violet.
During that era, Romanticism was party of it too. Ideas of Romanticism with transcendentalism. In our
everyday life, we use transcendentalism. We use our head to think and our hart to feel love and hate,
but sometimes you say something without thinking about it. It came from your inner soul. I paint, and

With his eyeball, he was able to see everything, very far. The word he use, quot; transparent, I think is
that because he was so lonely, he felt transparent.
Another writer of that time, was Thoreau. He studied in Harvard.
He was going to be a lawyer. Then he read quot; Nature, quot; from Emerson, and after that wanted to
live school. he wanted to live his life like in quot; Nature. quot; He graduate, but then Thoreau went in
the forest without anything, and isolate himself in a little house in the woods. He wanted a simple life.
Thoreau wanted to find out by himself what transcendentalism. He wanted to simplify life and instead
of eating three meals per day, just one. He too wrote. In his writing, sentences reflected
transcendentalism. One of it was, ´´ It looks poorest when you are richest. ´´ His ideas were to live
your life with necessary things. Don t be materialistic. The main idea was simplicity. His quotation
means for me that you are rich, but poor in the inside. In your inner soul you are poor in the inside. In
your inner soul you are poor, because materialistic person only thinks in money. The difference
between Emerson and
Thoreau, is that Emerson was getting paid, but Thoreau not.
In conclusion, a transcendentalism person, lived his life without thinking, and being alone. they trust
their first impression. They go beyond, go above the senses, to rise above. Transcendentalism contains
Romanticism ideas too. It had political,

Cause And Effect Of Bullying In School
Dr.Martin Luther King Jr states that In the end we will remember not the words of our enemies but the
silence of our friends this quote develops the idea that friends standing up and speaking up for the
victim is more valuable than silence in the moment and they re comfort when no one else is present.
Bullying in school affects the students as it may cause distractions or long term problems among
children. Depending on how bystanders respond, they can either contribute to the problem or the
solution when it comes to the initial conflict. Some people genuinely do not know what to do to help,
others fear the bully will seek them out next as a target. To really help in a bullying encounter you
have to know what responsibility you have in the situation. Bystanders may not think they are in the
wrong for leaving the conflict alone but really they are just as much part of the problem as the bully
themselves. The barriers to intervening are both real and powerful for young people. For youths it is a
very real possibility that doing the proper thing for someone else will equate to doing the wrong thing
for their own social status. When bystanders intervene they can stop bullying within 10 seconds over
50% of the time (bscsd.org bystanders). To empower kids to speak up and stand up they must be
taught how to effectively assess the situation at hand and recognize if it is safe to say something
themselves or better inform and adult about it. As well as teaching them from

Bumble Bee Digestive System Research Paper
The purpose of the digestive system is to transport food to the ventricles of the bumble bee, further
break down food to be absorbed into the via the blood, and to excrete what can t be used as waste.
Their digestive system can be divided into three various parts called the foregut, midgut, and hindgut.
A long piece of proboscis ends with a spoon like appendage, fully equipped with longish thick hair, to
function as a tongue for bumble bees. Food rises to the throat by a thin capillary tube located in the
middle of the piece of proboscis. By creating a sucking movement with the muscles of the pharynx,
the bee can accelerate feeding. The esophagus runs from the head and into the abdomen to form a
honey goiter. The honey goiter can hold up to

The No Child Left Behind Act
How could the idea of No Child Left Behind Act and standardized testing become such a terrible
problem, that it has led to a generation of students that are not properly educated and prepared for
college and the Real World ? My Working thesis is that standardized testing should be removed from
the school system because it is not testing what children know but teaching them how to test.
The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB), which was passed Congress with overwhelming support in
2001 and was signed into law by President George W. Bush on Jan. 8, 2002, is the name for the most
recent update to the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965. The NCLB law¬ which grew
out of concern that the American education system was no longer internationally competitive¬¬
significantly increased the federal role in holding schools responsible for the academic progress of all
students. It put a special focus on ensuring that states and schools boost the performance of certain
groups of students, such as English language students, students in special education, and poor and
minority children, whose achievement, on average, fell below their peers. States did not have to
comply with the new requirements, but if they didn t, they risked losing federal Title I money.
The No Child Left Behind Act dates back to Brown v. Board of Education, when the U.S. Supreme
Court outlawed racial segregation in public schools and determined that the separate but equal
doctrine which was unconstitutional.

One reason why lawns sometimes aren t as lush and green as homeowners want is because they may
not be getting enough water. Water is important for grass. Especially grass that has just started
growing. You have to water grass seed, and grass as it begins sprouting. Homeowners may want the
look of green grass, yet, they might not have the time, desire, or energy to go out and water it. The
good news is, you don t have to give up on your dreams of a beautiful lawn. Call us and ask about the

The Interrogation Methods
Torture has been around for a very long time. Military leader Napoleon wrote an anti torture letter in
1798 saying, The barbarous custom of having men beaten who are suspected of having important
secrets to reveal must be abolished. It has always been recognized that this way of interrogating men,
by putting them to torture, produces nothing worthwhile. The poor wretches say anything that comes
into their mind and what they think the interrogator wishes to know. The interrogation methods are a
problem for many reasons. One, the methods waste time. Secondly, there are other ways to get
information besides torture. If the CIA is clever, they could acquire more information, and faster. A
student of Australia s Charles Sturt University conducted a study on what methods work in the CIA.
She interviewed thirty four interrogators and found that disclosure was fourteen times as likely in a
situation that was of physical comfort, and it was ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
People began to question the efficiency of the method since it only proved to waste valuable time.
Two other suspects of the 9/11 attacks also had the waterboarding torture method inflicted upon them.
One suspect was waterboarded twice, while the other was waterboarded one hundred eighty three
times. Most of the information attained was useless. CIA reports say that these three were the only
prisoners to be waterboarded, but that also proved not to be true. The technique has been used against
other prisoners, and in one case, resuscitation was necessary. The torture the CIA uses goes against the
Constitution and therefore is wrong. Some may argue(and some have) that torture should be allowed
on terrorists since they threatened the nation, but in reality, about a quarter of the people being tortured
in the CIA prison are actually

The Decision Tree Method For Intrusion Detection System
Abstract
There are many risks in using the internet irrespective of its popularity. These risks are network attack,
and attack method which vary every day. This research is aim to compare decision tree method for
intrusion detection. As intrusion detection is one of the major research problem in network security.
Tradition intrusion detection system contain a number of problems, such as low performance, high
false negative rate, low intelligent level. In this research work we compared effectiveness of decision
tree method in Intrusion Detection System. We also compare the detection rate, false alarm rate for
different types of attack.
1.0 Background
Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) are software or hardware designed to automatically monitor
activities within a network of computers and identify any security issues . IDS have been around for at
least 30 years since increased enterprise network access produced a new challenge, the need for user
access and monitoring. As day to day operations grew increasingly dependent upon shared use of
information systems, levels of access to these systems and clear visibility into user activity was
required to operate safely and securely.
Many of the initial headway on IDS was made within the U.S. Air Force. In 1980, James P. Anderson,
an innovator of information security and member of the Defense Science Board Task Force on
Computer Security at the U.S. Air Force, produced Computer Security Threat Monitoring and

Gender Disparity In Soccer
The U.S. women s soccer team filed a complaint against U.S. Soccer for wage discrimination,
claiming they make roughly 40% of what their male counterparts do. This is only the beginning of a
trend in wage disparity in the Major Soccer League. The National Women s Soccer League, or NWSL,
has a pay ceiling per player of just $37,800. The men in Major League Soccer make an average of
more than $300,000 with a median of about $100,000. The teams in the NWSL have a salary cap of
$265,000, but for the men it is more than $3 million. The extremity of the wage gap is clearly depicted

In every country, soccer stars are celebrated, they are young children s heroes, and they inspire
nations. Soccer is played in small villages in Africa, suburbs in America, and the arctic tundra of
Russia, it can be played anytime, anywhere. It is the only sport that serves as a universal language,
citizens in every country know the basics of soccer. Anyone, of any age, can play. It serves as a
common connection for humanity and the players set examples for most of the world. If women are
not being paid equally on the only platform that has the ability to reach the entire planet, it is no
wonder that so many countries do not believe in women s rights. However, if they were paid the same
as men, they would be setting an example for the entire world. Many countries would begin to better
understand that women are equal. After all, so many of life s lessons are taught to children through
games, especially games like soccer. This sport is a very rare, if not the only, opportunity to teach the
entire world that women are just as equal as men, and not just on the soccer field. Women s soccer
could serve as the messenger to the world, and kickoff a new attitude for the equal treatment of
women and really get the ball rolling on equal pay for women. This sport has the unique opportunity
to use its influence to change attitudes that will seep

These hero s second and third journeys within themselves would have to be the main and lowest
points in their lives. In Gilgamesh, we see the once arrogant king becoming weak and lost. Gilgamesh
is searching for the right path to take to try and make his life better. His character is sad and depressed
and needs guidance on the right path to take. As the author states, Therefore, Gilgamesh decides to
seek out Utnapishtim, who alone of human beings has achieved immortality. Gilgamesh stops at the
inn of the alewife Siduri to ask for directions to Utnapishtim land. She tells Gilgamesh that he will
first need to find Urshanabi and that Urshanabi can take him to see Utnapishtim. Later that same
author mentions, When Gilgamesh asks Utnapishtim how he became immortal, Utnapishtim relates
the Flood myth Utnapishtim explains that his own immortality was a special case, a direct byproduct
of the Flood. If, however, Gilgamesh really wants to become immortal, Utnapishtim says, he should
first stay awake for six days and seven nights. Exhausted by his travels, Gilgamesh quickly falls
asleep and sleeps for six days and seven nights, until Utnapishtim wakes him. Then Gilgamesh knows
for sure: he is going to die. In contrast Beowulf is also faced with some big decisions to make to
protect his small town. Since one of Beowulf s major transformations involves

Argument On Immigration Reform
Immigration has become a very debatable topic in our day and age. Why? It has become an issue of
morality versus logic. Peter Casarella presents the moral stand on the issue and what the Catholic faith
calls people to do. On the other side of the argument is Rusty Reno, who asks people to think logically
about the effects mass immigration can have on a country. Both men present strong, reasonable claims
and at the same time are able to counter each other s argument effectively as well. The final thought
being not who is right, but how can religious beliefs influence policies in a world where influential
nations have a separation of Church and state. Peter Casarella begins the discussion with the topic of
natural moral laws and Biblical principles. According to Casarella Scripture is... a good source for
thinking in normative terms about the migrant (Casarella 2). Catholics are guided by the Bible and in
it they read about how Jesus, Mary, and Joseph too was once refugees, allowing Christian migrants to
draw hope from their example (Casarella 3). Personally, he believes that the most important factor for
immigration reform is the protection of family. That is when he calls for Biblical ethic to be
incorporated into the immigration debate. But as the debate has become a topic of borders and
sovereignty his argument can be countered with the notion of separation of Church and State. With
that the government does not make influential decision within the Church and vice versa.

How Does The Outsiders Describe Johnny
Johnny Cade literally is the main character in the book, The Outsiders in a subtle way. He for the most
part is described as a puppy that s been actually kicked too sort of many times. Even though he
particularly is only sixteen, Johnny definitely has been scared by the Socs to the point of carrying a
switchblade in his pocket in a big way. One of Johnny s inspirations for all intents and purposes is
Dallas Winston and his ability to definitely get through life without family or parents. He is happy
when Dally tells him he is proud of Johnny right before he dies, which mostly is fairly significant.
Brave is used to describe Johnny due to the fact he protected himself and ponyboy when a group of
Socs literally tried to attack them in a subtle way. Also, Johnny spared his life to help the kids out of
the burning church resulting in fatal burns on his face and generally safe kids in a subtle way. Earlier

How Is Iago Honest In Othello
A rebirth of Iago s honesty
Othello, one of the most well known tragedies written by William Shakespeare, is one of the symbolic

Description Of Multiple Sclerosis
Multiple Sclerosis:
Multiple Sclerosis; also known as MS, is a chronic and degenerative disease that affects the central
nervous system. It is a disease in which the body is attacking its own myelin as if it was a foreign
substance. This disease is currently affecting about 2.3 million people in the world (Tran, 2014).
History of disease:
Multiple sclerosis has existed long before it had a name, just like many other diseases. In 1838, Dr.
Jean Martin Charcot became the first person credited with identifying multiple sclerosis as a disease.
Charcot was a French scientist and physician who is claimed to be the founder of modern neurology. A

Before treatment is possible, it s important to get a proper diagnosis from a doctor. When symptoms fit
the criteria for MS and neurological exams and MRI results show the abnormalities, a proper
diagnosis can be formed. Nutritional therapy is very important for the patient as it gives the patient a
low fat diet to follow to help slow down any progression of the disease. Any type of exercise is
beneficial for MS patients, as well as movement therapy. For patients that are too weak for exercise,
other options such as yoga or water aerobics would be helpful. Aromatherapy would also be very
beneficial where the patient s body can be massaged with essential oils to treat affected areas. It s
important for the patients to do research on the type of treatment that they would prefer to help
become more confortable (Tran, 2014). As well as exercise, it s important to change your diet in
correlation with new medications that the patient would be receiving. Medications such as Avonex has
been seen to help limit the progress of an disabilities from episodes, Betaseron also helped some
patients with reducing the number and severity of relapses (Tran, 2014). All drugs are administered by

Similarities Between Achaemenid And Greek Empires
The Achaemenid Empire was one of the strongest empires in Southwest Asia during the first
millennium B.C.E. Courageous and skilled Persian conquerors allowed Persian rule to spread beyond
Persian territory, creating one of the largest early empires (Dunn Mitchell, 2014). However, across the
Mediterranean Sea was dwelled a more advanced empire with a stronger military, the Greeks (Dunn
Mitchell, 2014). These prominent early empires possessed many similarities and held the ultimate goal
of building and maintaining an advanced empire and society. Yet, their Southwestern and Afro
Eurasian cultures consisted of several different beliefs and ways of life. The 5th and 6th century B.C.E
polytheistic Greek traditions tremendously differed from the religion of the Achaemenid Empire,
which believed solely in Ahu Mazda, the supreme god (Dunn Mitchell, 2014). The political structures
of the Achaemenid and Greek Empires were also vastly dissimilar, unlike the united Achammenid
Empire; Greece consisted of several poleis (city states) (Dunn Mitchell, 2014). The ... Show more

To Sleep is to Dream
I have often had dreams that were so real and vivid, that I was unable to tell if they truly happened or
occurred in my dreams. Sleeping is very important to everyone. Without proper sleep, the body s
immune system can begin to fail, and then one will become more susceptible to virus, illnesses, and
disease. Even when we are asleep, the human mind does not completely sleep. When we are asleep,
we tend to tune out environmental sounds that occur when we sleep. For example, I live near a
freeway, yet the sounds of it never wake me. The auditory cortex in our brains respond to stimuli even
when we are asleep. For example, I can always wake up when one of my children calls my name
while I am in a deep slumber. There have been many studies and observations on individuals while
they are asleep. These studies are done on individuals who have sleep disorders. There are four phases
of sleep, and when one does not get the proper sleep, physical and mental issues will occur. Our
bodies work in tides, and our minds and bodies fluctuate. When our bodies seem to synchronize with
the 24 hour day, it is referred to as the circadian rhythm. It is the biological clock that tells us when it
is day time we are awake, and night time is when we are supposed to sleep. Age and experience can
affect the circadian rhythm, and I see this in myself. For instance, when I was in my teens and twenty

Comparing Noah s Ark And The Epic Of Gilgamesh
There were many stories written in Mesopotamia about a worldwide flood. One was called Noah s
Ark, and the other was called The Epic of Gilgamesh. In both, a god sent down a flood that was meant
to wipe out all life, especially the human race. In both stories, A man is contacted by God and is told
to build a boat for him and his family to survive the flood. The man is told to bring some of each
animal onto the boat. In Noah s Ark the man is Noah, and in The Epic of Gilgamesh, the man is
Utnapishtim. In Noah s Ark, the flood lasted for 140 day and nights, while in The Epic of Gilgamesh,
The flood was only seven days and nights. In Noah Ark, god then feels pity for man and promises
never to try to hurt the species as a whole again. In The Epic of Gilgamesh, God also feels pity for
man and makes the only surviving humans, Utnapishtim and his family, immortal. Based on these

What has the DEA said about CBD oil?
The cannabis plant contains over 85 cannabinoids, with tertahydro cannibinol (THC), the principal

relation to the brain. I picked my article out based on what interests me most, which is music. I began
by researching how music effects people and what emotional impact it has on people. Then, I came

its connection to the spoken language. So far, I have located my sources through the internet using

done with results. They also include quotes from the researchers involved with the experiment and
comments made by renowned scientist like Darwin. I had to form questions based off of the articles
and use information I already had from being a musician to help with that process. Questions that
helped guide my research were based on experiments that had been done regarding the brain and the
question of how musical communication evolved. The emotional and universal aspect also brought up
interest throughout my research that inspired a few questions about music today compared to music in

The Death Penalty Should Be An Option
When presented with a heinous crime, the question of whether the death penalty should be an option
has often sparked heated debates between left wing liberals and right wing conservatives. Those on the
left would most likely argue that capital punishment does not serve any beneficial purpose in our
society. In contrast, conservatives, provided that they have no religious motives to oppose the death
penalty, would likely argue that it is a necessary punishment for heinous crimes. For thousands of
years the death penalty has been used as the ultimate form of punishment for a vast number of crimes
and in even more numerous methods. Babylon s King Hammurabi identified 25 different crimes that
justified the death penalty; the list did not however include murder. A popular form of punishment
during the colonial period in New England, over 222 crimes were punishable by death. These numbers
began to dwindle to zero once it was determined that capital punishment was inhumane by the British
government ( The history of capital punishment ). The movement to abolish the death penalty has
spread to many other countries around the world but has yet to have a widespread effect in the United
States. Still currently legal in the U.S. in 31 states, the death penalty remains as a reminder of mankind

The Goal Is Clear And The Stakes Are High
THE REVERSE presents with an interesting idea. The goal is clear and the stakes are high. The script

The expansion of budgetary control over the rest of the military and into non military areas during the
Eighteenth Century was slow and inconsistent. However, as Parliament became more accustomed to
allocating funds, some modern concepts and terminology began to develop. In 1733 Robert Walpole,
Whig Prime Minister under George I, began referring to the inauguration of the discussions on the
Crown s proposed expenditures as the opening of the budget. This convention continued, and
gradually by 1800 this usage was universally accepted in England.
In France a conscious effort to make government rational was initiated. Following the lead of the
Philosophers during the Age of Reason, and eager to replace the medieval traditions of the ancient
regime, the French introduced sweeping changes to their government and society during the reign of
Napoleon.
As with the English, except with different motives, Napoleon s first concern was with mastering the
military budget. To obtain better information on, and to control expenditures, he established a Corps
des Comptes. The general who headed this corps became,

Material Flows And Inventory Policy During Military Scm
Material Flows and Inventory Policy in Military SCM
According to Major Joshua M. Lenzini in his article Anticipatory Logistics: The Army s Answer to
Supply Chain Management, Supply chain management is similar for both corporate and military
organizations. However, some significant differences are evident in these models. The first is the
absence of maintenance on the corporate model. Another is that transportation, distribution, and
warehousing are unidirectional in the corporate model but dual directional in the military model (see
Figure 3, Lenzini, 2002)). This backward flow is called reverse logistics, and although it is not unique
to military supply networks it is uniquely critical.
Figure 3: Schematic of differences for Corporate (left) and Military (right) SCM (Lenzini, 2002).
Reverse logistics constitutes the value recovery process for reparable spares. It is important because
theoretically is has considerable impact on the supply chain as it is the feedback loop. The reverse
stage starts from the military units, to the maintenance depots, and then back to the forward supply
chain to the units. The responsiveness of the reverse pipeline then becomes crucial to support
sustained operations when higher than expected failure rates in equipment occur, resulting in
temporary spikes or sustained surges in demand. Recent data analysis indicates that the ratio of issues
to returns across deployed units is highly variable, ranging between 40 percent and almost 100

What is nothing? Though at first, the response may seem like little more than a play on words, the
simple answer is this: Nothing is not. No word such as anything or everything can be added at the end
of the statement to further clarify the crucial concept, which is non existence: the dictionary definition
of nothing. In actuality, though, although the denotation of nothing insists on absolute absence and
void, in today s society nothing is actually quite present, masquerading as something indeed.
Of course, there are concepts in existence that accurately represent our limited understanding of
nothing. One such concept is zero. In a simple counting sense, when one, two, or eight hundred items

A truer mathematical representation of nothing is the empty set, a venture in to the complicated realm
of set theory. In college algebra level mathematics, numbers are grouped into sets that can then be
compared to each other. For example, if {A}={ 1, 3,4,5} and {B}={ 1,0,1,2,3}, the intersection (3 ) of
these two sets is { 1,3}, the set of the units they share. However, if two sets are compared with 3 , the

empty set. If a third set is introduced, {C}={0,2,6,8}, and compared to set A, it can be determined that
{A}3 {C} ={Û }. No number or variable can be found in both sets, so the set is empty. Truly, there is
nothing in it.
Nothing can also be accurately found in science. A vacuum, space without matter in it, has many
scientific applications although its existence remains only theory. Intergalactic space is often called a
vacuum, but it is not a perfect one. Air at sea level contains 30? 1018 (30 billion billion) molecules per
cubic centimeter, and the best synthetic vacuum contains less than 100,000 molecules per cubic
centimeter. It is estimated that intergalactic space contains an average of less than one molecule per
cubic meter. So, though theoretically a vacuum contains nothing, humanity lacks knowledge of any
genuine vacuums.

Essentially, the web site data I entered was for recordkeeping and the representatives had no access to
it. This was obviously a frustrating situation for most employees and clients.
Business Example: Cold Stone Creamery, a premium ice cream chain, used Microsoft Dynamics CRM
to automate and streamline its birthday club program. In one year, Cold Stone Creamery was able to
increase membership from nearly 200,000 to over 1.5 million and to reduce direct marketing costs per
contact from 80 cents to pennies. (Microsoft, Customer Relationship Management: The Winning
Strategy in a Challenging Economy)

Robust workflow capabilities enable organizations to streamline time consuming processes such as
budget approvals, campaign execution, lead qualification, lead routing, RFP submission, sales follow
up, reference management, and case routing, just to name a few. The more these processes can be
automated, the more employees can focus on their core competencies. Another way to leverage
workflow capabilities is by automating end to end business processes. For example, workflow can be
used to take a holistic approach to sales by enforcing best practices from lead to final close, defining a
common sales methodology and streamlining execution. Organizations can model each stage in the
sales process, define an ideal

Stereotypes In Spirited Away
We all are influenced daily, whether it is negative or positive, it depends on who or what situations
you put yourself in. Sometimes you don t have a choice what happens to you, we see this in the film
Spirited Away when Chihiro is transported to another world . Before put in the other world Chihiro is
your typical kid this time around, stubborn and not accepting change. We learn this by listening to the
dialogue about her new school. It s gonna stink, I liked my old school . Then her parents are turned
into pigs and she is transported to the other world as i call it. During her time there, she worked in the
bath house. This is a good example of character growth, the same character that was unable to accept
change and seemed stubborn at times was able to put others before herself in order to work at the bath
house. In this bath house Chihiro learns the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When we first meet No face he does nothing but validate himself to Chihiro. No face finds himself
unable to help Chihiro, which sets him into a state of inertia. After that scene we see No face eating
everything and everyone that gets in his way. We then see Chihiro stand up to No face, unsuccessful
she realizes that being in the bath house is what is making him crazy. Chihiro leads him up and out of
the bath house where he settles down and finds himself again. In both cases, Yubaba s baby and No
face both had a very negative influence, After being brought into the real world they were both able to
find themselves again. The baby is able to stand up all on his own and enjoys the real world. No face
is given the approval from Chihiro he was seeking all along. These examples are very different, in the
way of how they met Chihiro and what they gained from this trip. Although we do notice some
similarities, in both cases our characters found themselves and what they were missing out on becuase
of a negative

What Are The Causes Of The Imperial Crisis
The Imperial Crisis was a series of events that lead to the formation of the United States of the country
and our cessation of relations with Great Britain. It was not so much one big event, as it was many
smaller events that slowly pushed the American over the edge until they had enough; you could say it
was a straw that broke the camel s back sort of situation. There are several important events in this
series of straws , taking place from 1763 to 1776. In the mid 1600s, the American colonists were very
hungry for new land, and were going ever westward. This lust for expansion, predictably, caused
troubles with local Native Americans. King George wanted to stem the conflict, and so ordered the
Royal Proclamation of 1763 to go in effect, keeping colonists from going west past a certain line so
that the relationship with the tribes could stabilize. This angered colonists, who didn t see the point
and cared more about land than relations with the Native American tribes, so they went west anyway.
Just the fact that the king gave the order infuriated them. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Once again, the British were meddling in colonial affairs, and the colonists felt that the British were
out of touch with the Americans. The sugar act reduced the tax on foreign importation of molasses and
other goods, but it was more strictly enforced. It had a negative effect on colonial economies,
especially the rum trade, and caused boycotts. Americans were becoming more and more angry with
British meddling, especially this law which was seen as Britain only trying to help itself even if the
colonies got harmed economically in the

How Patanjali Is Considered A Divine Messenger
Upanishadic wisdom converged on a shared belief in a universal law that guided the abiding presence
of religious and metaphysical forces in the lives of individuals and of the collective destiny of all
things in the universe. The Upanishadic teachings help us to understand how yoga evolved.
Patanjali is historically understood to have been a divine messenger, born some time between 500 BC
and 200 BC. The dates are uncertain to this day as the lives of the great sages and mystics were not
measured according to modern calendars, but rather, were imbued by the living oral traditions that
defined Upanishadic wisdom and knowledge. Some traditions held that Pantanjali was not born of
mother and father but was rather the incarnation of the god Adiesea. Adisesa is a great king cobra
whose body is the seal of the god Vishnu. The legend continues that the god Shiva, the king of dance,
invited Vishnu and other deities to see his famous dance, Tandava Nritya. As Shiva danced, Vishnu
immersed his own consciousness in the moment. His physical being undulated in rhythm with the
graceful movements of Shiva. During the performance of the dance, Vishnu was seated on Adisesa,
the great cobra. The cobra became short of breath under Vishnu s weight, which seemed to increase
with his enrapturement in the dance. The great cobra began to gasp for air. At the end of the dance,
Adesisa immediately felt release from the heavy pressure of Vishnu s body. Adesisa asked Vishnu,

Visual Analysis Of Art By George Seurat
Did you know that you could make art with just using dots? George Seurat did all of his paintings with
just dots. He was born on December 2nd 1859 and died on March 29 1891. His death is still unknown
but there s theories that he died from pneumonia or some other type of physical illness. There s three
paintings that stood out to me there full of color and have a lot of things incorprated into them.
A sunday afternoon on the island of LaGrande Jatte
is one of his popular paintings it entirely made out of tiny dots. He painted it between 1884 1886 its

  • 2. Quarterback Analysis Let me preface this editorial by saying that this is by far the longest position preview of this series. Quarterback is by far the deepest position group in fantasy football, and you only draft one or two of them, so hitting on a consistent producer who can deliver high point totals is crucial for your fantasy title hopes. I would feel comfortable with starting, or having on my team, most of the quarterbacks that inhabit the first four tiers below. That said, if I pass on the top guys, which is likely, I ll most likely draft two QB s that I think can be good and platoon them until one emerges as the guy. This could be a strategy you could use in most formats, unless your league s scoring favors quarterbacks or you re in a two quarterback league. If you re in a standard league, I would recommend waiting to select a quarterback until later in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... They re widely ranked next to each other in various preseason quarterback rankings, and since some idiot in your league picked Blake Bortles in front of them, you ll likely have the luxury of being one of the later drafters to take a quarterback, meaning you can take one of them while also making the rest of your roster title worthy. Whether they are up, down or tied, both Manning and Rivers have coaching staffs that love to throw the ball They throw all day everyday. Rivers has proven he can perform at an elite level with a patchwork combination of weapons and a terrible offensive line. Last year, with a terrible line, an infirmary at wide receiver and Danny Woodhead, Rivers balled out. Manning plays the Eagles, Redskins and Cowboys twice, none of which are expected to be elite or even average on defense, which is where I give him the edge over Rivers. Rivers twice has to go against the top two fantasy defenses from last year, the Broncos and Chiefs, while also playing a Raiders team that is expected to be in the top half of the league on that side of the ... • 3. The Eruption Of Kilauea Volcano Abstract The home of Pele, the Hawaiian volcano goddess, Kilauea Volcano has been erupting for the last 30 years. Since January 3, 1983, the world has stopped to look at the lava flowing out of the crevices of the crater. However, despite the meaning of the name, Kilauea in Hawaiian (which translates to spewing or much spreading ), many scientists are amazed that the volcano has a continuous flow (USGS 1,2,3). Nonetheless, as the East Rift Zone spreads, Kilauea has started overflowing; and the once majestic lava now spills out of Pu u O o Crater into nearby towns. Scientists and citizens scramble to find the answer: how do we stop a volcanic eruption from destroying nearby civilization without stopping the natural occurrence? Kilauea As the youngest and most southeastern volcano on Hawaii s big island, Kilauea has been suggested to be the world s most active volcano; having recorded 61 historical eruptions, not including the continuous lava lake activity in Halema uma u Crater (Life Stages of Hawaiian Volcanoes). Kilauea is at it s shield forming stage referencing volcanology. During this stage the excretion systems within the volcanoes are the most efficient at transporting magma to the surface since over 95% of lava gets erupted. As well as the constant eruption, the magma chamber of the volcano fully develops to serve as a station for older, less dense magma. The magma chamber migrates upwards as a volcano grows and the Kilauea volcano magma chamber ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Blue Collar Brilliance And The Busy Carter Analysis Work and leisure, these are two integral parts of human life, however there is much debate about which of them is more important as well as what the proper balance between them should be. Those such as Mike Rose and Nicholas Carr, in their articles Blue Collar Brilliance and World and Screen respectively, emphasis how the benefits of working, physically as well as mentally, are often forgotten. On the other side, however, Tim Freider in his work The Busy Trap contends that leisure is just as neglected in our fast paced world. Despite these seemingly different statements, these works share quite a lot on when looks just below the surface. In Blue Collar Brilliance Mike Rose describes his appreciation for the often unnoticed intelligence that many blue collar workers posses as well as the positive impact that physical work can have on the lives of those taking part in it. Nothing he says encapsulates this more than his description of his uncle Joe working on a car assembly line, For Joe the shop floor provided what school did not; it was like schooling, he said, a place where you re constantly learning. Joe Joe learned the most efficient way to use his body with a set of routines that were quick and preserved energy. (1036). This parallels the findings of Carr in World and Screen where he describes how by using our ancestral navigation abilities we keep our mind healthy mentally, by working out the parts of the brain that are in charge of memory, and physically by ... • 6. Cause And Effect Of Bullying In School Dr.Martin Luther King Jr states that In the end we will remember not the words of our enemies but the silence of our friends this quote develops the idea that friends standing up and speaking up for the victim is more valuable than silence in the moment and they re comfort when no one else is present. Bullying in school affects the students as it may cause distractions or long term problems among children. Depending on how bystanders respond, they can either contribute to the problem or the solution when it comes to the initial conflict. Some people genuinely do not know what to do to help, others fear the bully will seek them out next as a target. To really help in a bullying encounter you have to know what responsibility you have in the situation. Bystanders may not think they are in the wrong for leaving the conflict alone but really they are just as much part of the problem as the bully themselves. The barriers to intervening are both real and powerful for young people. For youths it is a very real possibility that doing the proper thing for someone else will equate to doing the wrong thing for their own social status. When bystanders intervene they can stop bullying within 10 seconds over 50% of the time (bscsd.org bystanders). To empower kids to speak up and stand up they must be taught how to effectively assess the situation at hand and recognize if it is safe to say something themselves or better inform and adult about it. • 13. The No Child Left Behind Act How could the idea of No Child Left Behind Act and standardized testing become such a terrible problem, that it has led to a generation of students that are not properly educated and prepared for college and the Real World ? My Working thesis is that standardized testing should be removed from the school system because it is not testing what children know but teaching them how to test. The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB), which was passed Congress with overwhelming support in 2001 and was signed into law by President George W. Bush on Jan. 8, 2002, is the name for the most recent update to the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965. The NCLB law¬ which grew out of concern that the American education system was no longer internationally competitive¬¬ significantly increased the federal role in holding schools responsible for the academic progress of all students. It put a special focus on ensuring that states and schools boost the performance of certain groups of students, such as English language students, students in special education, and poor and minority children, whose achievement, on average, fell below their peers. States did not have to comply with the new requirements, but if they didn t, they risked losing federal Title I money. The No Child Left Behind Act dates back to Brown v. Board of Education, when the U.S. Supreme Court outlawed racial segregation in public schools and determined that the separate but equal doctrine which was unconstitutional. ... • 15. The Interrogation Methods Torture has been around for a very long time. Military leader Napoleon wrote an anti torture letter in 1798 saying, The barbarous custom of having men beaten who are suspected of having important secrets to reveal must be abolished. It has always been recognized that this way of interrogating men, by putting them to torture, produces nothing worthwhile. The poor wretches say anything that comes into their mind and what they think the interrogator wishes to know. The interrogation methods are a problem for many reasons. One, the methods waste time. Secondly, there are other ways to get information besides torture. If the CIA is clever, they could acquire more information, and faster. • 19. The Decision Tree Method For Intrusion Detection System Abstract There are many risks in using the internet irrespective of its popularity. These risks are network attack, and attack method which vary every day. This research is aim to compare decision tree method for intrusion detection. As intrusion detection is one of the major research problem in network security. Tradition intrusion detection system contain a number of problems, such as low performance, high false negative rate, low intelligent level. In this research work we compared effectiveness of decision tree method in Intrusion Detection System. We also compare the detection rate, false alarm rate for different types of attack. 1.0 Background Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) are software or hardware designed to automatically monitor activities within a network of computers and identify any security issues . IDS have been around for at least 30 years since increased enterprise network access produced a new challenge, the need for user access and monitoring. As day to day operations grew increasingly dependent upon shared use of information systems, levels of access to these systems and clear visibility into user activity was required to operate safely and securely. Many of the initial headway on IDS was made within the U.S. Air Force. In 1980, James P. Anderson, an innovator of information security and member of the Defense Science Board Task Force on Computer Security at the U.S. Air Force, produced Computer Security Threat Monitoring and Surveillance, a ... • 25. Argument On Immigration Reform Immigration has become a very debatable topic in our day and age. Why? It has become an issue of morality versus logic. Peter Casarella presents the moral stand on the issue and what the Catholic faith calls people to do. On the other side of the argument is Rusty Reno, who asks people to think logically about the effects mass immigration can have on a country. Both men present strong, reasonable claims and at the same time are able to counter each other s argument effectively as well. The final thought being not who is right, but how can religious beliefs influence policies in a world where influential nations have a separation of Church and state. Peter Casarella begins the discussion with the topic of natural moral laws and Biblical principles. According to Casarella Scripture is... a good source for thinking in normative terms about the migrant (Casarella 2). Catholics are guided by the Bible and in it they read about how Jesus, Mary, and Joseph too was once refugees, allowing Christian migrants to draw hope from their example (Casarella 3). Personally, he believes that the most important factor for immigration reform is the protection of family. That is when he calls for Biblical ethic to be incorporated into the immigration debate. But as the debate has become a topic of borders and sovereignty his argument can be countered with the notion of separation of Church and State. With that the government does not make influential decision within the Church and vice versa. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Without proper sleep, the body s immune system can begin to fail, and then one will become more susceptible to virus, illnesses, and disease. Even when we are asleep, the human mind does not completely sleep. When we are asleep, we tend to tune out environmental sounds that occur when we sleep. For example, I live near a freeway, yet the sounds of it never wake me. The auditory cortex in our brains respond to stimuli even when we are asleep. For example, I can always wake up when one of my children calls my name while I am in a deep slumber. There have been many studies and observations on individuals while they are asleep. These studies are done on individuals who have sleep disorders. There are four phases of sleep, and when one does not get the proper sleep, physical and mental issues will occur. Lenzini in his article Anticipatory Logistics: The Army s Answer to Supply Chain Management, Supply chain management is similar for both corporate and military organizations. However, some significant differences are evident in these models. The first is the absence of maintenance on the corporate model. Another is that transportation, distribution, and warehousing are unidirectional in the corporate model but dual directional in the military model (see Figure 3, Lenzini, 2002)). This backward flow is called reverse logistics, and although it is not unique to military supply networks it is uniquely critical. No word such as anything or everything can be added at the end of the statement to further clarify the crucial concept, which is non existence: the dictionary definition of nothing. In actuality, though, although the denotation of nothing insists on absolute absence and void, in today s society nothing is actually quite present, masquerading as something indeed. Of course, there are concepts in existence that accurately represent our limited understanding of nothing. One such concept is zero. In a simple counting sense, when one, two, or eight hundred items could be present, but there aren t any, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In all other cases, zero s effect is both prominent and apparent (Reid 9). A truer mathematical representation of nothing is the empty set, a venture in to the complicated realm of set theory. In college algebra level mathematics, numbers are grouped into sets that can then be compared to each other. For example, if {A}={ 1, 3,4,5} and {B}={ 1,0,1,2,3}, the intersection (3 ) of these two sets is { 1,3}, the set of the units they share. However, if two sets are compared with 3 , the intersection notation, but have no elements in common between them, their intersection is {Û }, the empty set. If a third set is introduced, {C}={0,2,6,8}, and compared to set A, it can be determined that {A}3 {C} ={Û }. No number or variable can be found in both sets, so the set is empty. Truly, there is nothing in it. Nothing can also be accurately found in science. A vacuum, space without matter in it, has many scientific applications although its existence remains only theory. Intergalactic space is often called a vacuum, but it is not a perfect one. Air at sea level contains 30? 1018 (30 billion billion) molecules per cubic centimeter, and the best synthetic vacuum contains less than 100,000 molecules per cubic centimeter. It is estimated that intergalactic space contains an average of less than one molecule per cubic meter. So, though theoretically a vacuum contains nothing, humanity lacks knowledge of any genuine vacuums. Nothing can also be ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In one year, Cold Stone Creamery was able to increase membership from nearly 200,000 to over 1.5 million and to reduce direct marketing costs per contact from 80 cents to pennies. (Microsoft, Customer Relationship Management: The Winning Strategy in a Challenging Economy) Follow here to read more about the Cold Stone Creamery solution Robust workflow capabilities enable organizations to streamline time consuming processes such as budget approvals, campaign execution, lead qualification, lead routing, RFP submission, sales follow up, reference management, and case routing, just to name a few. The more these processes can be automated, the more employees can focus on their core competencies. Another way to leverage workflow capabilities is by automating end to end business processes. For example, workflow can be used to take a holistic approach to sales by enforcing best practices from lead to final close, defining a common sales methodology and streamlining execution. Organizations can model each stage in the sales process, define an ideal

Sometimes you don t have a choice what happens to you, we see this in the film Spirited Away when Chihiro is transported to another world . Before put in the other world Chihiro is your typical kid this time around, stubborn and not accepting change. We learn this by listening to the dialogue about her new school. It s gonna stink, I liked my old school . Then her parents are turned into pigs and she is transported to the other world as i call it. During her time there, she worked in the bath house. This is a good example of character growth, the same character that was unable to accept change and seemed stubborn at times was able to put others before herself in order to work at the bath house. In this bath house Chihiro learns the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... When we first meet No face he does nothing but validate himself to Chihiro. No face finds himself unable to help Chihiro, which sets him into a state of inertia. After that scene we see No face eating everything and everyone that gets in his way. We then see Chihiro stand up to No face, unsuccessful she realizes that being in the bath house is what is making him crazy. Chihiro leads him up and out of the bath house where he settles down and finds himself again. In both cases, Yubaba s baby and No face both had a very negative influence, After being brought into the real world they were both able to find themselves again. The baby is able to stand up all on his own and enjoys the real world. No face is given the approval from Chihiro he was seeking all along. These examples are very different, in the way of how they met Chihiro and what they gained from this trip. Although we do notice some similarities, in both cases our characters found themselves and what they were missing out on becuase of a negative ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 48. What Are The Causes Of The Imperial Crisis The Imperial Crisis was a series of events that lead to the formation of the United States of the country and our cessation of relations with Great Britain. It was not so much one big event, as it was many smaller events that slowly pushed the American over the edge until they had enough; you could say it was a straw that broke the camel s back sort of situation. There are several important events in this series of straws , taking place from 1763 to 1776. In the mid 1600s, the American colonists were very hungry for new land, and were going ever westward. This lust for expansion, predictably, caused troubles with local Native Americans. King George wanted to stem the conflict, and so ordered the Royal Proclamation of 1763 to go in effect, keeping colonists from going west past a certain line so that the relationship with the tribes could stabilize. This angered colonists, who didn t see the point and cared more about land than relations with the Native American tribes, so they went west anyway. Just the fact that the king gave the order infuriated them. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Once again, the British were meddling in colonial affairs, and the colonists felt that the British were out of touch with the Americans. The sugar act reduced the tax on foreign importation of molasses and other goods, but it was more strictly enforced. It had a negative effect on colonial economies, especially the rum trade, and caused boycotts. Americans were becoming more and more angry with British meddling, especially this law which was seen as Britain only trying to help itself even if the colonies got harmed economically in the ... How Patanjali Is Considered A Divine Messenger Upanishadic wisdom converged on a shared belief in a universal law that guided the abiding presence of religious and metaphysical forces in the lives of individuals and of the collective destiny of all things in the universe. The Upanishadic teachings help us to understand how yoga evolved. Patanjali is historically understood to have been a divine messenger, born some time between 500 BC and 200 BC. The dates are uncertain to this day as the lives of the great sages and mystics were not measured according to modern calendars, but rather, were imbued by the living oral traditions that defined Upanishadic wisdom and knowledge. Some traditions held that Pantanjali was not born of mother and father but was rather the incarnation of the god Adiesea. Adisesa is a great king cobra whose body is the seal of the god Vishnu. The legend continues that the god Shiva, the king of dance, invited Vishnu and other deities to see his famous dance, Tandava Nritya. As Shiva danced, Vishnu immersed his own consciousness in the moment. His physical being undulated in rhythm with the graceful movements of Shiva. During the performance of the dance, Vishnu was seated on Adisesa, the great cobra. The cobra became short of breath under Vishnu s weight, which seemed to increase with his enrapturement in the dance. The great cobra began to gasp for air. At the end of the dance, Adesisa immediately felt release from the heavy pressure of Vishnu s body. Adesisa asked Vishnu, How could it be ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
