Six Degrees Social Enterprise is hiring for a Loss Counsellor and Group Supervisor position. The role will involve providing evidence-based counselling to those experiencing significant loss, assessing patient needs and history, and providing group clinical supervision for bereavement counsellors. 3. This role encompasses:
- A unique, full-time job in collaboration between Salford Bereavement
Therapy Service (part of Six Degrees Social Enterprise) and Living Well.
- This role is for an experienced counsellor/psychotherapist with
supervisory qualifications or in supervisory training) and enthusiasm for
inclusive and community-based work.
- The role involves providing evidence-based counselling for people who
experienced significant losses, conducting a thorough assessment of
patients’ needs and history, and providing group clinical supervision for
volunteer bereavement counsellors.
- The post holder will work as part of the existing Mental Health Service
structure across Salford establishing and maintaining relevant partner
services links.

Band: AFC band 6 £33,706 per annum
