Introduction
Good afternoon. I'm sure you know that voting is a large part of our lives, one that can influence
our futures heavily. Young adults are the leaders of the future, and we will have a large
responsibility in said future. Shouldn't we be allowed to choose what world we want to live (and
die) in later on? If we live in a country that we have options to change, we can perform better and
focus more, as you probably feel more comfortable in an environment you chose to be in. My three

In America today, HIV has token the lives of multiple individuals. The public health system and
government are hindering research, care, sex education, drugs and HIV awareness to the public,
which is causing the demise of humanity due to this deadly disease. Elizabeth Pisani, an independent
researcher and analyst of the Ted talk, Sex, drugs andHIV–let's get rational is a fearlessly outspoken
women trying to educate the public on the world–wide failure to understand and manage the reality
of HIV epidemic, decrying the difficult roles that revenue, votes, and social media play in the public
health organization. Pisani became an assumption busting independent researcher, polling
transgendered sex workers, drug addicts and others to illuminate the surprising, and often ignored
demographics that belie traditional studies. In this Ted talk, Pisani uses logos, pathos, and ethos on
her audience to get the point across on the spread prevention of HIV. In the ted talk, Pisani first sets
the stage by stating "people do stupid things things–that's what spreads HIV". Pisani then goes on to

War is a topic plenty have a hard time talking about it or even comprehending the idea of war in
the first place. It is part of the human condition of conquering and controlling whatever we feel is

Struggle is a natural thing in life. There is no escaping the struggles that life will throw at you.
But when you struggle, there is always success soon to come. Surfing taught me that you must
fall before you can stand. That you will struggle before you succeed. When most girls turn sixteen
years old, they want a big party, with presents, loud music, loads of friends, and just overall
craziness. At least that's how I always imagined it. I didn't want any of that. I didn't want the
