No Parent Child Relationship With Second Temple...
Six out of nineteen texts held topoi providing a possible parent child relationship with Second Temple
apocalyptic work. Further consideration reduced the number to three. Of the texts that remain, The
Ascent of Enmeduranki, the Divine Nomination of Thutmose II, and Plato s Republic (614b), ranked
the strongest. These three sources follow here, respectively.
The Ascent of Enmeduranki
Although no parent child relationship occurred in this text, scholars often posit it as source material
for 1 Enoch; perhaps, a relationship exists through the lens of divinely ordained journeys:
Enmeduranki [king of Sippar], the beloved of Anu, Enlil [and Ea]. Šamaš and Adad [brought him in]
to their assembly. Šamaš and Adad [honored him]. Šamaš and ... Show more content on

24:1 38:3, and 67 as the final ascension seen in Gen. 5:24). Alongside these similarities, however, are
general distinctions as noted under Topos of Secrecy, and specific distinctions concerning divinely
ordained Journeys.
Enmeduranki s journey authority derives from his presence among deity. By comparison, Enoch s
author wove together multiple authorities: divine presence begins a journey, but includes authority
from cosmology, secrecy, and righteousness. Furthermore, using 1 Enoch 14:8 as an example, the
author provides both setting and method in which Enoch ascends; yet, a close reading shows no
description of the anabasis in Enmeduranki text. These descriptions, however, are present in the
Divine Nomination of Thutmose III.
The Divine Nomination of Thutmose III
The Divine Nomination of Thutmose III concerns his legitimacy as ruler, providing a picture of the
Egyptian enthronement rites:
[He opened for] me the doors of heaven; he spread open for me the portals of its horizon. I flew up to
the sky as a divine falcon, that I might see his mysterious form which is in heaven, that I might adore
his majesty. (10) ... I saw the forms of being of the Horizon God on his mysterious ways in heaven. Re
himself established me, and I was endowed with [his] crowns [which] were upon his head, his uraeus
serpent was fixed upon [my brow] ... I [was equipped] with all his states of

Sexual Harassment Intervention
In order to propose an effective intervention aimed at increasing the number of female corrections
officers who self report experiencing sexual harassment from other male officers, one must first look
at the strategies that already exist to help with this problem. It is also important to note that the
existing interventions try to reduce sexual harassment in the workplace, not increase the number of
reports made about the harassment. Additionally, a few strategies seem to exist for workplace sexual
harassment in general, but none is specific to sexual harassment in the corrections setting. However, it
is still important to address the existing interventions in order to make the new intervention as
effective as possible. The first strategy ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is also the channel of the intervention. The psychoeducation group will serve as both an
educational group about sexual harassment and therapy and a support group for the victims.
Additionally, the groups will also allow the female officers to learn from one another and model
appropriate behavior in regards to sexual harassment reporting. Therefore, modeling would be
considered the method of the intervention. Further, the strategy of this intervention is for modeling to
occur in the psychoeducational group therapy sessions to motivate the female officers to report their
experiences of sexual harassment.
The sessions will be mandatory for the female officers that are identified as victims. Additionally, they
will last about two hours and will be conducted in the training room above the main gate entrance and
will meet once every other week for about eight sessions, for a total of about four months. The group
will not be offered to more than ten female officers at a time. However, multiple groups may occur at
the same time. The only people in the sessions will be the female officers who were identified as
victims, and one or two psychology staff members of the prison to direct the

The Importance Of The Florentine
The Italian language like many of the other languages in the world is derived from Latin. Some other
languages derived from Latin are French, Spanish, Portuguese and Romanian. These 5 languages
along with Italian make up the romance languages. The Italian language is a well known adaptation of
the Latin tongue that was spread all through the empire by conquering Roman armies. The spread of
the romantic languages began in the Italian peninsula and Sicily then spread to France, Spain and
Portugal. Soon after that these romantic languages began spreading to western Germany, southern
Germany, Austria, Hungary, Switzerland, Romania. Later on they spread to Morocco, Algeria, and
Tunisia.
The Italian dialect is focused around the vernacular spoken in Tuscany and more acutely Florence.
This authentic improvement can be followed back to the social and political prominence of Florence
and all of Tuscany in the 1300s. Tuscan authors, for example, Dante, Petrarch and Boccaccio have
written some of their most celebrated works in the Tuscan Florentine dialect, giving this specific
tongue notability and importance. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This work turned into the etymological model for all the writers who followed him who did not want

the main dialect of Italy, yet it is spoken in southern Switzerland, in parts of Croatia, and in parts of
the French territories of Corsica and Savoy as well. Notwithstanding standard Italian, numerous
Italians speak the vernacular of their region or city, which can vary in noteworthy routes from the
authority dialect. In Italy, there are additionally various etymological and ethnic minorities who still

The Role Of Unrealistic Expectations In Everyday...
Having all the social networks and lots of distrust today, it causes lots of problems in modern day
relationships.
Once someone has trusted someone that failed them, it almost ends all relationships for that person.
Dating is not the same as it was back in the 80s.
Yes, dating is something of the past because most people don t even care anymore.
They are afraid of commitment.
Lots of them let the past predict the future.
( 7 Reasons Why You re Afraid Of Commitment (And What To Do About It). Thought Catalog. 27

So, if something bad happened in a past relationship, it makes it almost impossible to commit again.
They are too busy . (source 1)
Some people just think they don t have time for a connection of some sort with someone or something.
They have unrealistic expectations. (source 1) They either crave what they can t have or be with
someone just to do the things they crave, or what they want to do.Unrealistic expectations sometimes
cause them to think that he or she will cheat on us, ending something that didn t even really start. They

of cheating and then it goes to another thing and finally, they just get frustrated and say, I can t do this

How Does Patrick Suskind Use Imagery In Perfume
In the novel perfume by Patrick suskind, A novel depicting a man named Grenouille from the 18th
century France who , has a terrific sense of smell yet ironically has no smell , grows up wanting to
become a perfumest and making the most powerful perfume ever in which he goes beyond his
capabilities and becomes a serial killer. Suskind, writes about humans in a negative light implying that
they are all selfish and ignorant. Right from the beginning, the first characters are unimportant yet
very bad people. Suskind uses symbolism , imagery and diction . Symbols are used to help give
meaning to a story. Imagery gives the reader an image of what suskind wants the reader to picture in
their mind while reading about a character(s). Diction is how ... Show more content on

In the novel, it states One day the older ones conspired to suffocate him. They piled rugs and blankets
and straw over his face and weighed it all down with bricks. When madame gaillard dug him out the
next day he was crumpled and squashed and blue, but not dead. (Suskind, Patrick. Perfume. Pg.22 )
This was when Grenouille had been put under Madame Gaillards care in which the other children
dreaded the presence of grenouille and attempted to kill him. Grenouille was new to the establishment
and hadn t done anything to a single soul. He was hated because he didn t have a smell and that made
him an outsider. The children didn t even bother to welcome him more try to get to know him. They
automatically judged him for who he was on the outside. With the quote given, you can picture very
well the attempted murder and picturing you see children trying to kill another child which is not only
disgusting but quite selfish because since the existence of Grenouille bothers the children they merely
just want to get rid of him for the benefit of themselves, which then again ties into how suskind is
commenting on the nature of humans: that they are are self centered and ignorant. In the novel, it also
states, Several such meetings taught him to assess more precisely the power and effect of his new
aura, and he grew more self assured and cocky. (Suskind, Patrick. Perfume. Pg. 152 153) Grenouille
had just made a perfume for himself, he was testing it out in the public observing the reactions of
other humans, in which they acknowledged Grenouille and were even surprisingly decent to him.
Instead of using his new scent to form a connection with another human, grenouille instead lets the
power get to his head. Grenouille had the

Montgomery College Student Parking Problem
From my perspective as a Montgomery College student, the current parking situation has become a
problem that needs to be addressed. On the west campus there is only one parking garage and there are
not enough spaces for all of the students to park. Some students spend a lot of time circling around
looking for a parking space. There is street parking, but students feel that they should not have to pay
for parking. In order to get a parking spot, I have to arrive at around 8:00 AM even if my class isn t
even until late morning.
When I get to the parking garage at around 11:00 AM most of the spaces are filled, and the change
over of students has yet to occur. Students drive all the way to the top of the garage just to find that

In the city many places are narrow and you have to build up. So to fit more cars into a small space
there are lifts. One kind of lift is called the Robotic Parking System. It enables parking from several
hundred cars to several thousand in half the amount of space. A person would drive their car into the
parking terminal, and sensors would ensure that the car was placed correctly. The driver would exit the
vehicle, lock the doors and take a parking card from the kiosk. A computer system then lifts the car
and places it on a shelving system. When one is ready to leave they place their parking card into a
kiosk and the system locates their car and brings it down. The screen then displays where the driver
can pick up their car. This also insures safe parking since it is impossible for someone to break and
steal your car. An additional option that is probably the least expensive would be for students to park
in parking garages in downtown Silver Spring. Shuttles buses could be provided by the College to
pick up students from the garage and at the end of the day the shuttle could bring the students back to
their cars. No solution goes without having its issues, whether it is structural, financial or aesthetic.
Some of the solutions to expand the parking are more reasonable, while some will cost a pretty penny.
Whichever proposal the college decides to go with will benefit the

Advanced Rocket Personal Statement
Through participating Science Olympiad and Society of Advanced Rocket Propulsion and learned
how to design, build, and test engineered devices, I found that I would love to be an astronautical
engineer. Even though we can see far into the space with telescopes but I believe that to truly explore
space, we have to use rockets and spacecrafts. With all the theories and assumptions about, there is
always a need for exploration, which requires engineers to build these instruments. Since my
childhood, I ve always found rockets and spacecrafts to be fascinating and exciting, however, they had
always seemed so far away from me because of the silly thought: they are expensive . Indeed, this is a

Censorship Of The Chinese Communist Party
When one uses the internet in China, the person must always understand... he or she is being watched.
In China, over 100,000 government enforcers work to censor or block unwanted information from
Chinese and foreign websites. Much of this information being shot down includes talk of democracy,
the very opposite of the Chinese Communist Party s ideas. Censorship of internet and media in China
has been brought by its Communist government who have wanted to shield the Chinese people from
undesired ideas, such as democracy, that could start a large revolt of citizens demanding government
reforms. On October 1, 1949, Mao Zedong founded the People s Republic of China after he and his
Communist supporters defeated the nationalists, beginning a new era for China of strict totalitarian
rule. When Mao died in 1976, the country was left in ruins from Mao s failed plans. A new leader,
Deng Xiaoping, emerged and made reforms allowing open market capitalism in the economy that
changed China into a powerful country. Yet, Deng stayed with a totalitarian government that still had
harsh crackdowns such as the June 4, 1989 Tiananmen Massacre and today censorship law. Some may
argue that it is necessary the Chinese government continue to censor foreign websites and information
in order to ensure the public s safety and trust. Although the Chinese government states that
censorship is necessary to ensure citizens safety, it will threaten the country s future success because it

Ethical Concerns In The Military
Ethical concerns of AI continue to plague the question whether AI belongs in the military. As it
concerns many, there are some very good ethical reasons to pursue AI use in military circumstances.
Firstly, AI use in the military could potentially lessen casualties in warfare. For example, AI robotic
use in warfare could open the possibility of better decision making. Before responding with lethal
forces, robots can integrate more information from more sources far more quickly than a human can in
real time. This information and data can arise from multiple remote sensors and intelligence. (Arkin,
2009) . This ethical gain could possibly almost eliminate the risk for mistake. The use of AI robotics
could also show its benefits in stressful

Emily Dickinson Imagery
Emily Dickinson is one of the most influential poets of all time, and has a unique way of using literal
imagery to paint a picture in the readers mind. The best poets are those that excel at using their words
to create clear, concrete images and intrigue their reader. Dickinson began writing poetry around the
year 1855, and prospered for another 10 years. Some of her most famous poems include I Taste a
liquor Never Brewed , Success is Counted Sweetest , and Wild nights Wild Nights! , all of which have
influenced many aspiring writers to become poets, and show her true colors as a poet. Among her
works of poetry, I felt a Funeral, in my Brain, is one that resembles the frequent patterns of Dickinson
s style of writing. When breaking down the literary components of Dickinson s writing, there is a
common usage of symbolism, imagery, and wordplay, which is apparent in the poem I felt a Funeral,
in my Brain.
The poem I felt a Funeral, in my Brain, is one of Dickinson s most dark poems, which describes the
mental travesty of a funeral service going on in her brain. As Dickinson lived a life full of depression,
this poem is one that is personal and expresses deep feelings of her thoughts about death. One of
Dickinson s strengths in writing poems is her ability to use symbolism. While there is no real funeral
taking place inside her brain, the focus of the poem is to take the funeral as a metaphor for the
miserable feelings in her head that some part of her has died inside. Dickinson treats this poem as a
deep train of thought where there are made up people who exist inside her mind, as she envisions them
mourning a dead body, and seeing the casket with the dead body as a complete funeral service is
taking place. While the funeral is a metaphor for the thoughts in her brain, it expresses the literal
feelings of pain and sorrow going on in her life. The reader can infer that due to the hardships in
Dickinson s life, that a mental breakdown could have prompted the comparison of a funeral to her
mental state. According to an article written by Joyce Hart, there are feelings of madness that directly
relate to the way Dickinson describes the funeral in her brain. The straightforward mention of reason

The Causes And Effects Of Stress In College Students
Over the last few years, stress levels have climbed 30 percent amongst all college aged students
(Feldt, 2008). Stress is defined as A state of psychological and psychological arousal that results when
outside demands surpass a person s abilities (Zajacova, Lynch, Espenshade, 2005). The increased
pattern of stress is due to more college students determining their success based upon materialistic
measures and thinking futuristically (Zajacova et al., 2005). Unfortunately, a rise in stress can have
many adverse health outcomes for most people. Stress suppresses the immune system, making it more
difficult for your body to fight off viruses that lead to a variety of illnesses (Straub, 2014). That being
said, My Real Age Test showed my inability to manage my stress was a large concern and will be the
focus of my intervention (Sharecare, 2015).
Identifying with having a Type A personality has lead me to be driven but constantly stressed to
achieve high standards in school, and other areas of my life. Unfortunately, not without cost, my stress
has taken a major toll on my immune system. Over the last three years of college, I have visited the
health center 22 times. My stress has affected my immune system s ability to fight off a variety of
viruses from the common cold to pneumonia. Nonetheless, I want to make a positive change by
implementing mindfulness mediation into my daily routine.

Bureaucracy belongs to an important part in administrative science. Because this concept is a
universal concept. Bureaucracy impacts on our society. Though it has a positive impact now a days it
becomes more worsened in our country. It has become more red tape in our country. Moreover it has
many negative externalities such as rigidity, over formality, corruption and so on.

Bill Gates Leadership Style Essay
Introduction
Leadership style is designed according to a pioneer s behaviors, which is enveloped under behaviorist
theory. Inside of this class, distinctive examples of leadership behavior are watched and classified as
leadership styles. Practicing managers have a tendency to be the most keen on looking into this
specific theory in light of the fact that with it leaders can modify their style taking into account the
convictions, values, inclinations and society of the association they work for. Leadership can also be
conceived as a process where one or more persons influence a group of person to move in a certain
direction. The word leadership has been used in various aspects of human endeavor such as politics,
business, academics and social works. Messick and Krammer(2004) debated about the degree to
which the individual exhibits leadership traits depends not only on his characteristics and personal
abilities but also on the characteristics of the situation and environment in which he finds himself. Bill
Gates was born in 1955, had a love of computers and began programming mainframe computers when
he was 13 years old. The text below will consist of an analysis of the leadership style of bill gates

personal appearance and one s financial situation that is brought to my attention in this section. I was
bothered by the author s findings that Wal Mart caters to the lower income families. They offer
inexpensive food items loaded with calories and very little nutritional value and clothes that are

Persuasive Essay On Underage Drinking
The law does not stop underage drinking. In the United States, the minimum drinking age is 21, while
in many other countries it ranges from 16 18. In Germany, minors who are as young as fourteen can
drink alcoholic beverages including wine and beer within the supervison of a parent or legal guardian.
There has been much controversy over alcohol for numerous years, the most recent argument is
whether the legal drinking age should be twenty one or lowered to eighteen. Minimizing the legal
drinking age from twenty one to eighteen would be a successful step in reshaping the binge drinking
culture in this country, encouraging young adults to safely participate in the activity of drinking
alcohol, and permitting those of legal age the chance to entirely and responsibly make adult decisions.
College students across the nation are engaging in the illegal activity of drinking alcohol every
weekend. M. B. Esser M. Siegel, who are both medical doctors, say A systematic literature review
found that as youth are exposed to a greater volume of alcohol marketing, they are more likely to
drink or for those who already drink, to drink more. (Esser, and Siegel 426) This concept makes me
think of how much alcohol is consumed on college campuses making others feel forced or cool if they
do so. The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism determined that there are presently
10.8 million American underage drinkers. Many argue that 18 year olds are too reckless and impulsive

Christmas Nativity Scene Analysis
Most Christians grew up associating the nativity scene with Christmas, so it is hard to imagine that the
first nativity scene only appeared about 800 years and more than 1200 years after the birth of Christ.

Comparing Apple Vs Apple
The smartphone industry is a very up and coming place. In the US, more than 77% of adults own a
smartphone (Smith). There are many different kinds of smartphones. They can vary in shape, size,
color, and brand. Two of the largest brands of smartphone are Samsung and Apple. They make two of
the hottest phones on the market right now. Just recently Samsung made the Galaxy S8, and Apple
came out with the iPhone 8. Both phones are reported to be top of the line. Both being high end
devices have many similarities, but they also have differences that set them far apart from each other.
Let s start off with one big difference between these two phones, the camera. We re again treated to a
solitary 12 megapixel f/1.8 rear snapper... The Galaxy S8 comes with a 12 megapixel Dual Pixel rear
camera (Spendelow). The difference between the cameras here is that the Galaxy has a dual camera,
whereas the iPhone does not. The iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X do have the dual camera if you re
willing to spend the extra money. These two phones also have different camera resolution. The Galaxy
s camera resolution is 2960 x 1440 pixels, and the iPhones is 1334 x 750 pixels (Bushnell). Between
the two phones camera resolution, the Galaxy has the iPhone beat. The Samsung s front facing camera
is also a little bit better than the iPhone s. The iPhone s camera is 7 megapixels whereas the Samsungs
is 8 megapixels (Kidman). However, the iPhone has reportedly been seen with warmer colors, helping
with the contrast of pictures. Overall, the Samsung s dual rear camera and 8 megapixels front facing
camera has the iPhone beat. Another big difference between the two phones is the hardware and
internal specs. One main difference between these two phones is the two kinds of operating systems
they use. Samsung uses Android 7.1.1, and the iPhone uses iOS 11. Two separate systems tailored to
the devices needs. They both are top of the line operating systems and are the most up to date systems
you can use (Kidman). Both operating systems are fine tuned to the use of the consumer and are both
extremely customizable. The iPhone Has a 2GB RAM and uses the A11 Bionic processor, and the
Galaxy has a 4GB RAM and uses the octa core Exynos 8895 processor

Teaching Styles, Learning Styles, and Cultural Location in...
Teaching Styles, Learning Styles, and Cultural Location in Relation to Academic Success The
mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great
teacher inspires. William Arthur Ward. Every teacher is different and teaches differently, but when it
comes to academic success of students, how do the teaching styles affect the overall outcome of the
student success. Although teaching styles and learning styles have a massive role to play and academic
success, so does cultural location. Teaching styles will form students learning behavior and how they
see their future. Teaching styles meshed with learning style of an individual student is the biggest
predictor of students academic success in all cultural locations. There are many ideas for what happens
in the classroom although many believe that teaching styles will affect the academic success within a
classroom based upon a teacher and his or her own beliefs and influences. We all have our own beliefs
and values which may be different from another s. Because beliefs influence teacher action, and
context influences beliefs, it seems logical that national context would influence teachers use of and
beliefs about Mosston s Spectrum of Teaching Styles. (Kitsantas, Panagiota). Every teacher has a
different form of influence and that influence will affect their own personal teaching style. Due to this
not every single teacher has the same ways of teaching. Sometimes unknown to the

resource management by conferring ethics in the business environment and examining human capital
influence in the equivalent situation. This assignment indicates different aspects of ethical issues and
challenges that occur in organisations and what human resource needs to do in order to manage them
in the same context. It also discusses the ethical decision making of organizations in integrating the
ethics into strategic human resource decision making process.
2. Introduction
Ethics are an important aspect in the life of individuals and business. They attempt to distinguish right
from wrong and good from bad. They constitute desirable conduct, moral codes, norms, beliefs and
practices. Ethical organizational culture and climate are important in order to guide ethical employee
behaviour in achieving organizational goals and objectives. Ethical policies, procedure and practices

A key consideration in the nature of ethics in the business environment is the core values that exist in
an organization. These are values articulated and reinforced by top management, imparted to new
members of the organization and spread throughout the organization. Organizational values have a
substantial influence on employee performance. Organizational values are communicated via
socialization and code of ethics. If people do not agree on or do not know the norms and values of
their organization then a weak corporate culture exists (Finegan, 1994). Chief executives must
communicate, encourage and show pride in the organization ethical standards to inspire and show
employees that the organization appreciates a person for acting in accordance with the standards.
Business ethics applies to all aspects of business conduct and

Alexandria In Justine
The representation of Alexandria in Lawrence Durrell s Justine In his novel, Justine, Lawrence Durrell
gives his readers a new version of Alexandria, claiming that this is the real city . The novel would
arouse many questions to an Alexandrian reader s mind; does Durrell factually represent the
Cosmopolitan city of the time? Do his characters reflect the kind of life which the Alexandrian
inhabitants had back then? Or is he giving, throughout Justine, a parallel mythical city which he
created out of his imagination? The book clearly reflects Durrell s viewpoint regarding Alexandria; he
exhibits it as an erotic city that enforces a state of total indulgence in sensual pleasures upon its
inhabitants. Moreover, he tackles the city ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Durrell presents two Alexandrias; the Arabic Alexandria which is always related to negative
descriptions and always looked at with resentment and disgust, and the European Alexandria which
comes along with the clean streets and the civilized characters. Durrell exhibits the Arab Quarters as
an undefined mass; he does not name their streets or their cafes; he gives them no identity. In contrast,
the European streets are named, for instance; Rue Foaad, Rue Sherief and Naby Daniel. The voice of
the Arabs is shut; we do not get to see any Egyptian characters except for Nessim, whom we know
lately in the Alexandria Quartet about his national treason; a person who has no sense of belonging
towards Egypt. Nessim also is so westernized; the fact that Nessim s voice is heard in the novel goes
back to his wealthy state and his high social rank that did enable him to neglect his Egyptian
nationality and have a European lifestyle. Hence, Nessim does not represent the real Egyptian
Alexandrian inhabitant of the time. Durrell s claim that only the city is real is questionable; you cannot
write a novel as a representative of Alexandria and its inhabitants while choosing to foreground only
the western voices and background the Arab ones. So Durrell s colonial ideology is shown in his
writing; his tone is racial and biased against the Egyptians. Moreover, Durrell depicts Muslim Arabs
as racist violent people who persecute

Snow Falling On Cedars And Snow Falling On Cedars
Becoming the Bridge Between Two Worlds Second generation immigrants are often forced to become
the bridge between two worlds, as their foreign parents hold on to cultural ties and traditions, while
the children grow up in a Western society with contrasting ways of life. The works the End of East by
Jen Sookfong Lee and the film Snow Falling on Cedars, directed by Scott Hicks, prove that a struggle
for identity can be overcome if one overlooks the dissimilarities between two cultures. As seen in both
works, the writers demonstrate how second generation immigrants are faced with the challenge of
finding their identities, as they feel torn between their cultural practices and the influences of their
Western upbringings; However, only after setting aside the differences that clash the two cultures are
they truly able to find a balance between the two and discover who they are. Firstly, both the End of
East and Snow Falling on Cedars involve second generation immigrant protagonists in North America
that struggle to keep their parents happy and preserve their culture, while continuing to live their lives
as individuals of the West. Hatsue, a Japanese American girl in Snow Falling on Cedars, grows up in
the West. Despite being brought up in North America, she is well aware that her mother strongly
believes in preserving the Japanese culture. Hatsue s mother wishes for Hatsue to honour their
traditional Japanese ways, and encourages her to marry one of [her] own kind and stay

Julius Caesar Leadership Analysis
The idea of leadership is completely dependent of the concept of the power that comes with it. Those
who are put into these leadership positions could take one of two routes, they could lead socially or
personally. The social form of leading is when the man or woman who is in power, is genuinely
thinking for their people and doing what they believe in favor and best for the people, the personal
form of leadership is derived from the greedy and self centeredness that people can possess because it
is when they work for their own increase of power or money. There is also the opportunity for a social
leader to act unjustly and immorally but not true selfishness. In the play The Tragedy of Julius Caesar
he see several men gain more power and some change because of it. The first of the three men is
Julius Caesar, Julius is introduced after he gains the power and love from the people so it is difficult to
know how he changed from what he was before but the stories and experiences told from other
characters can be used to gauge how drastically the power changed him. The second man is Marcus
Brutus, throughout the play he talks of strong and just morals that he believes in and is incapable to
break those ethics that are so deeply seeded in him. The third and last mans change through power is
that of Gaius Cassius, his gain into power was in the same form as that of Brutus yet the beliefs and
wants of the men were separate. Cassius role throughout the play was that of a manipulator

Fear Of Public Speaking In Public
According to a Chapman University survey on American fears, more than twenty five percent of
Americans biggest fear is public speaking (Ingraham, 2014). This ranked higher than heights, bugs,
snakes, blood, and even dying. So what is it about speaking in public that is scary? And how can one
get over this fear? It turns out that most people tend to be anxious before doing something important
in public (Lucas, 2015, page 9). Being afraid of speaking in public is very common, and many people
will never be able to completely overcome the fear of public speaking. However, there are many ways
to manage and control this fear.
Also known as glossophobia, speech fright is one of the most popular fears of all people. This

Colonial Literature Summary
Colonial Literature began with the work of English adventurers and colonists in the New World
benefit the readers in the country. Some of these early works reached the level of literature, as in the
truthful account of his adventures by Captain John Smith and the journalistic histories of John
Winthrop and William Bradford in New England. From the beginning, however, the literature of New
England was also directed to the improvement and instruction of the colonists themselves, intended to
direct them in the ways of the gods. The first literature work was published in the Puritan colonies,
was the Bay Psalm Book, and the whole effort of the divines wrote furiously to set forth their view.
Among them was Roger Williams and Thomas Hooker; who was to defend and promote visions of the
religious state. They set forth their visions in effect the first express the concept of national destiny in
a series of passion histories. Then as time went forward, you had the New Nation or New literature.
And that was basically the approach of the American Revolution and the achievement of the actual
independence of the United States was a time of intellectual activity as well as social and the
economic change. The men who were the chief molders of the new state included excellent writers,
such as Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton. They were well supported by others such as Philip

The Invasion Of Privacy And Concern For Safety
Introduction: The invasion of privacy and concern for safety has been an increasing worry among
people who live in the United States and across the world. The main issue is how does the government
s actions change how people view their own security and even national security. Broader theories of
this research question would be how the government s interaction with technology and security
influence how people think about their own personal privacy and safety as well as our national
security. Some central questions that are critical to how to analyze this growing problem are the
following: What does the NSA really collect and how does that differ from what people believe that
they collect? What is the significance of the FBI asking Apple to create a backdoor into their phones?
How does the decision that Apple made alter how people view their privacy? What would happen if
Apple hadn t made the decision to not create this backdoor for the FBI? How would that decision have
affected our national security? These questions are only a few that relate to this issue and there are
many other cases, approaches, and areas of the topic concerning personal privacy in relation to
national security and how it is viewed. The importance of national security and people s feeling of
safety and privacy can influence our national security. The FBI s approach to asking Apple to create
the backdoor to hack into a specific iPhone for a case, although the backdoor would work on any

While some may argue that this case lacks the balancing of rights perspective that was employed in

Emile Durkheim’S Book Elementary Forms Of Religious Life
Emile Durkheim s book Elementary Forms of Religious Life serves as a religious guide from the
perspective of primitive societies by focusing on understanding the key principles of religion by
studying these groups and drawing similarities to major ideologies based off of their key elements and
rituals. His goal from this research was to figure out the origins of religion itself. His study focused on
the aborigines, the indigenous people of Australia. He wrote the study in a way so a non believer could
understand religion and yet find none in error, allowing them to believe that each religion was a mere
branch on a much larger tree. This theory holds elements of the idea of coexistence, theorizing no

In layman s terms, he perceives religion as firstly a society questioning how they arrived at said point
and from where they started, allowing the praise to go to a higher power. Edward Burnett Tylor states,
the ordinary condition of the savage is the result of degeneration from a far higher state saying that our
most primitive forms are reflections of the gods themselves. The second says religion is a tool used for
formulating societies throughout the ages and our world today, our geographic distribution, has been
accounted for based off of the religious identities of our past societies.
Opposers of Durkheim s ideas hold religions to be of unequal standing, saying all religions do not all
have the same measure of truth. To them, Durkheim argues that to understand his approach one must
reach beneath the symbolism, grasp the reality it represents and understand its true meaning. In a
sense, he is saying that by understanding one religion, you have the capacity to understand another.
To achieve the author s goal, he utilizes Aristotle s categories of understanding time, space, number,
cause, substance, and personality all corresponding to universal properties. This became a popular
system for classification as he believed religion itself served as a universal property. The article
utilized the concept of time as a key to understanding religion. A summation of the example would be
that time does not define itself, we define it. We define what

Dissent And Disagreement
Dissent and Disagreement A world where slavery is still widespread, genocide is an everyday
occurrence, and the voices of the common citizen is silenced. This would have happened if we only
disagreed over such matters and not dissented. In the Decline of Radicalism, by Daniel J. Boorstin, he
asserts that disagreement is the life blood of democracy, dissension is its cancer and that dissent is
negative word. Boorstin also claims that disagreement produces debate , which is true, but could have
all conflicts been solved with diplomacy? Dissent is the life blood of democracy and it is not negative;

took dissent to progress forward. It took protesting in the streets, it took illegal action and
subsequently getting arrested for it. Disagreement would have not push America forward, dissent did,
does, and will. Discussion is bred from disagreement, according to the author, but does discussion
work? Discussion and diplomacy are also foundations of democracy. Debate and nonviolence are
cornerstones of how our government works. With it, we avoid a lot of conflict and we can manage to
find a compromise in coordination with other parties. Though, you have to ask yourself this question:
does discussion always work? If we talked with Great Britain about seceding from their empire, would
we even be our own country? We dissented and fought for our independence. Likewise, in the
American Civil War, it would be completely unacceptable if we compromised on slavery. We fought
so human beings could have basic rights, and there would be no way we could talk the South into
abolishing slavery. Diplomacy is beneficial to democracy, but the truth is that without dissenting
democracy would not exist at all. Boorstin writes

What Is Flair Bartending
Flair bartending is basically the art and skill of entertaining your clientele or audience with the
juggling and manipulation of your bar tools that includes, shaker tins, glassware, garnish, napkins, in
some rather neat, tricky and dazzling ways.
Flair bartending is not all about the juggling of the bottles, some ice trick which is the definition of
flair bartending in the strictest sense, but generally, it is just anything that can create an extra
excitement and dazzle to your clientele s drinking experience. You can do a simple juggling trick or a
rather funny story or joke. If possible to use both, the use them.
Flair or the freestyle bartending can be categorized into styles: the working flair and the competition
flair. The biggest difference between these two is the amount of risk and complication of tricks used,

It is borderline choreography and like any competitive skill, it requires hours and hours of practice.
Like any dance competition, you need to be ready to bedazzle your audience and you are the spotlight
of the show. Be ready and be polished.
Like any competition, nothing is left to luck or chance. Your bottles are numbered and need to be
positioned accordingly and the alcohol just enough for you to make the drinks required. In this kind of
flair, you not usually working your guest but rather the crowd.
When it comes to flair competition, there is room for freedom for your tricks than the kind of tricks
you would pull behind the counter at work. You cannot take 4 minutes to make a drink at a busy bar
and you not allowed to spill at all. In a competition, spilling is a no go zone.
The reason for all this flair is to achieve some money, recognition (those viral YouTube videos), better
bartending gigs, and the prizes just to mention a few. If you doing your flair for this purpose, practice
and practice until you achieve perfection.

Analysis Of Just A Half A Mile From The Mississippi Bridge
The article Just a Half a Mile from the Mississippi Bridge : The Mississippi River Valley Origins of
Rock and Roll was written by Dr. Michael Allen Ph.D. who is a history professor of the School of Arts
and Sciences, at the University of Washington, Tacoma. The article is part of a work that Allen is
currently working on titled, Mississippi River Valley: The Course of American Civilization , which
discusses the significance and relevance of the Mississippi River area in American history. Because
Allen is writing from the geographic distance of the Northwest, he may have a more objective
viewpoint of historical events than someone who is living inside Southern culture. The article was
written in 2015 for the Southern Quarterly, which is a

What Caused The Economic Boom Of The 1920s
Many Americans believed that the 1920s were a time of economic prosperity. With the economy
booming and the creation of new and innovative technologies, it was believed that a majority of
society was well off during this time period. With new forms of mass media and advertising, people
were under the impression that the stock market was booming and that the economy was doing well.
However, the 1920s actually brought about many hard times for unemployed workers and struggling
industries, which eventually lead to the Great Depression.
There were multiple activities and industries that caused the economy to boom in the 1920s. After the
war, mass production became popular and many new industries started to appear and grow throughout

A Research Study On Quantitative Research
A Quantitative Research Study Overview
Sheila E. Brooks
Stanbridge College
Introduction As we continue our discussion in comparing qualitative versus quantitative research, we
now focus our attention on quantitative research. In my personal opinion, I feel that quantitative
research is harder to understand but breaking the article into sections allows me to understand the
basic concepts. This week we will examine and in discuss a quantitative research article. The name of
the article is First time mothers: social support, maternal parental self efficacy and postnatal
depression written by authors Leahy Warren, McCarthy, Corcoran in 2011. First, I take a look at the
abstract to get a general overview of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, there is little research that provides a clear definition of what is meant by social support
(Leahy Warren et el, 2009). In other words, there is no research which has measured the relationship
between social support and maternal parental self efficacy using a domain specific instrument
developed and supported by self efficacy model and post natal depression with first time mothers at
six weeks post delivery
(Leahy Warren et el, 2009)
Maternal Parental Self Efficacy and Depression By now, some of you may be asking the same
question that I had when I first started reading this article. What is meant by maternal parental self
efficacy and post natal depression? It is important to understand these two definitions in order to
understand the article. Maternal parental self efficacy is a belief that a parent holds about themselves
in terms of being able to care for and parent a child (Leahy Warren et el, 2009). These includes the
ability to plan, organize, and execute actions in order to produce the desire results with the belief that
there is a strong correlation between the age of the mother and the number of children (Leah Warren et
el, 2009).
I can t help to think about my own experience as a mother as I read this article. I am a single mother of
six children and I can say that my confidence grew more as I

Experiences of World War One in All Quiet on the Western...
Wars have always been events that I enjoy learning about, reading about and just discovering what
went on. So when this project rolled around I had no problem choosing the novel All Quiet on the
Western Front, which was written by Erich Maria Remarque. Erich had been a German soldier
towards the end of WWI and had, first hand experienced the pure terror that is war. I had heard of this
book through my father who is also a major war enthusiast. Him and I have had numerous
conversations about both World War I and II, as he was the one that originally suggested I read this
book. I have to say that it was a tremendous suggestion in that this novel to me seems to be one of the
finest pieces of anti war literature ever penned. The way the novel is able to portray the mindset of a
soldier was beautifully done and shows the complete deterioration that occurs over time. First to
understand more about the novel and its author, Erich Maria Remarque, it would be helpful to learn
about his life. Erich was born on June 22, 1898 (internet source 4) in the town of Osnabruck Germany.
He was born into a poor family to his father, Peter Maria Kramer, and mother, Anna Marie Kramer
(internet source 5). His father was a bookbinder while Erich was a kid (internet source 5). He also had
2 other siblings and his family as a whole moved at least 11 during his childhood. To say Erich had a
turbulent childhood would be an understatement; he grew up in circumstances most people could not
even begin

Yates Memorandum
The memorandum written by Deputy Attorney General, Sally Quillian Yates represents a significant
change in the government s approach toward corporate misconduct. The priority for prosecution will
focus on individuals who commit the wrongdoing within the corporation and ensure that the
responsible individuals are accountable for their misconduct. Under the Yates Memo, for companies to
be considered eligible for any cooperation credit, the corporation is required to provide the
Department of Justice with all relevant facts about an individuals involvement in the organizations
misconduct. Thus, corporations may no longer have the option to determine what information about
which employees can be disclosed to the prosecutors. As a matter of fact, ... Show more content on

The purpose of Dodd Frank Act is focused on restrictions on the banking sector; repealing Dodd Frank
will enable the financial market to return to a more volatile state. Moreover, the purpose of the Volker
Rule is to prohibit banks from proprietary trading and restrict banks investments in hedge funds and
private equity funds to prevent banks from high risk trading activities. Therefore, from the lessons we
all have learned during the 2008 financial crisis, we should not reduce government regulation in the
financial sector. Instead, we should maintain our policies, continue to monitor the health of our
economy, and prevent corporate misconduct. In addition, I will recommend Mr. Sessions continue to
follow the Yates Memo to hold executive level individuals accountable for their misconduct. And I
will also support Senator Warren s proposed 21st Century Class Steagall Act of 2017. This act will
protect our economy by restricting the bank s ability to engage in high risk activities, reducing the size
of too big to fail corporations, and minimizing the probability of government bailout. As one might be
expected, my recommendation to Mr. Sessions will face a lot of setbacks. However, as a public
servant, protect the law, maintain its fairness regardless the areas

  • 2. No Parent Child Relationship With Second Temple... Six out of nineteen texts held topoi providing a possible parent child relationship with Second Temple apocalyptic work. Further consideration reduced the number to three. Of the texts that remain, The Ascent of Enmeduranki, the Divine Nomination of Thutmose II, and Plato s Republic (614b), ranked the strongest. These three sources follow here, respectively. The Ascent of Enmeduranki Although no parent child relationship occurred in this text, scholars often posit it as source material for 1 Enoch; perhaps, a relationship exists through the lens of divinely ordained journeys: Enmeduranki [king of Sippar], the beloved of Anu, Enlil [and Ea]. Alongside these similarities, however, are general distinctions as noted under Topos of Secrecy, and specific distinctions concerning divinely ordained Journeys. Enmeduranki s journey authority derives from his presence among deity. By comparison, Enoch s author wove together multiple authorities: divine presence begins a journey, but includes authority from cosmology, secrecy, and righteousness. Furthermore, using 1 Enoch 14:8 as an example, the author provides both setting and method in which Enoch ascends; yet, a close reading shows no description of the anabasis in Enmeduranki text. In China, over 100,000 government enforcers work to censor or block unwanted information from Chinese and foreign websites. Much of this information being shot down includes talk of democracy, the very opposite of the Chinese Communist Party s ideas. Censorship of internet and media in China has been brought by its Communist government who have wanted to shield the Chinese people from undesired ideas, such as democracy, that could start a large revolt of citizens demanding government reforms. On October 1, 1949, Mao Zedong founded the People s Republic of China after he and his Communist supporters defeated the nationalists, beginning a new era for China of strict totalitarian rule. When Mao died in 1976, the country was left in ruins from Mao s failed plans. • 13. Emily Dickinson Imagery Emily Dickinson is one of the most influential poets of all time, and has a unique way of using literal imagery to paint a picture in the readers mind. The best poets are those that excel at using their words to create clear, concrete images and intrigue their reader. Dickinson began writing poetry around the year 1855, and prospered for another 10 years. Some of her most famous poems include I Taste a liquor Never Brewed , Success is Counted Sweetest , and Wild nights Wild Nights! , all of which have influenced many aspiring writers to become poets, and show her true colors as a poet. Among her works of poetry, I felt a Funeral, in my Brain, is one that resembles the frequent patterns of Dickinson s style of writing. When breaking down the literary components of Dickinson s writing, there is a common usage of symbolism, imagery, and wordplay, which is apparent in the poem I felt a Funeral, in my Brain. The poem I felt a Funeral, in my Brain, is one of Dickinson s most dark poems, which describes the mental travesty of a funeral service going on in her brain. As Dickinson lived a life full of depression, this poem is one that is personal and expresses deep feelings of her thoughts about death. One of Dickinson s strengths in writing poems is her ability to use symbolism. While there is no real funeral taking place inside her brain, the focus of the poem is to take the funeral as a metaphor for the miserable feelings in her head that some part of her has died inside. Dickinson treats this poem as a deep train of thought where there are made up people who exist inside her mind, as she envisions them mourning a dead body, and seeing the casket with the dead body as a complete funeral service is taking place. While the funeral is a metaphor for the thoughts in her brain, it expresses the literal feelings of pain and sorrow going on in her life. The reader can infer that due to the hardships in Dickinson s life, that a mental breakdown could have prompted the comparison of a funeral to her mental state. According to an article written by Joyce Hart, there are feelings of madness that directly relate to the way Dickinson describes the funeral in her brain. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires. William Arthur Ward. Every teacher is different and teaches differently, but when it comes to academic success of students, how do the teaching styles affect the overall outcome of the student success. Although teaching styles and learning styles have a massive role to play and academic success, so does cultural location. Teaching styles will form students learning behavior and how they see their future. Teaching styles meshed with learning style of an individual student is the biggest predictor of students academic success in all cultural locations. Alexandria In Justine The representation of Alexandria in Lawrence Durrell s Justine In his novel, Justine, Lawrence Durrell gives his readers a new version of Alexandria, claiming that this is the real city . The novel would arouse many questions to an Alexandrian reader s mind; does Durrell factually represent the Cosmopolitan city of the time? Do his characters reflect the kind of life which the Alexandrian inhabitants had back then? Or is he giving, throughout Justine, a parallel mythical city which he created out of his imagination? The book clearly reflects Durrell s viewpoint regarding Alexandria; he exhibits it as an erotic city that enforces a state of total indulgence in sensual pleasures upon its inhabitants. Moreover, he tackles the city ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Durrell presents two Alexandrias; the Arabic Alexandria which is always related to negative descriptions and always looked at with resentment and disgust, and the European Alexandria which comes along with the clean streets and the civilized characters. Durrell exhibits the Arab Quarters as an undefined mass; he does not name their streets or their cafes; he gives them no identity. In contrast, the European streets are named, for instance; Rue Foaad, Rue Sherief and Naby Daniel. The voice of the Arabs is shut; we do not get to see any Egyptian characters except for Nessim, whom we know lately in the Alexandria Quartet about his national treason; a person who has no sense of belonging towards Egypt. Nessim also is so westernized; the fact that Nessim s voice is heard in the novel goes back to his wealthy state and his high social rank that did enable him to neglect his Egyptian nationality and have a European lifestyle. Hence, Nessim does not represent the real Egyptian Alexandrian inhabitant of the time. Durrell s claim that only the city is real is questionable; you cannot write a novel as a representative of Alexandria and its inhabitants while choosing to foreground only the western voices and background the Arab ones. So Durrell s colonial ideology is shown in his writing; his tone is racial and biased against the Egyptians. Moreover, Durrell depicts Muslim Arabs as racist violent people who persecute ... Snow Falling On Cedars And Snow Falling On Cedars Becoming the Bridge Between Two Worlds Second generation immigrants are often forced to become the bridge between two worlds, as their foreign parents hold on to cultural ties and traditions, while the children grow up in a Western society with contrasting ways of life. The works the End of East by Jen Sookfong Lee and the film Snow Falling on Cedars, directed by Scott Hicks, prove that a struggle for identity can be overcome if one overlooks the dissimilarities between two cultures. As seen in both works, the writers demonstrate how second generation immigrants are faced with the challenge of finding their identities, as they feel torn between their cultural practices and the influences of their Western upbringings; However, only after setting aside the differences that clash the two cultures are they truly able to find a balance between the two and discover who they are. Firstly, both the End of East and Snow Falling on Cedars involve second generation immigrant protagonists in North America that struggle to keep their parents happy and preserve their culture, while continuing to live their lives as individuals of the West. Hatsue, a Japanese American girl in Snow Falling on Cedars, grows up in the West. Those who are put into these leadership positions could take one of two routes, they could lead socially or personally. The social form of leading is when the man or woman who is in power, is genuinely thinking for their people and doing what they believe in favor and best for the people, the personal form of leadership is derived from the greedy and self centeredness that people can possess because it is when they work for their own increase of power or money. There is also the opportunity for a social leader to act unjustly and immorally but not true selfishness. In the play The Tragedy of Julius Caesar he see several men gain more power and some change because of it. The first of the three men is Julius Caesar, Julius is introduced after he gains the power and love from the people so it is difficult to know how he changed from what he was before but the stories and experiences told from other characters can be used to gauge how drastically the power changed him. The second man is Marcus Brutus, throughout the play he talks of strong and just morals that he believes in and is incapable to break those ethics that are so deeply seeded in him. The third and last mans change through power is that of Gaius Cassius, his gain into power was in the same form as that of Brutus yet the beliefs and wants of the men were separate. Broader theories of this research question would be how the government s interaction with technology and security influence how people think about their own personal privacy and safety as well as our national security. Some central questions that are critical to how to analyze this growing problem are the following: What does the NSA really collect and how does that differ from what people believe that they collect? What is the significance of the FBI asking Apple to create a backdoor into their phones? How does the decision that Apple made alter how people view their privacy? What would happen if Apple hadn t made the decision to not create this backdoor for the FBI? How would that decision have affected our national security? In my personal opinion, I feel that quantitative research is harder to understand but breaking the article into sections allows me to understand the basic concepts. This week we will examine and in discuss a quantitative research article. The name of the article is First time mothers: social support, maternal parental self efficacy and postnatal depression written by authors Leahy Warren, McCarthy, Corcoran in 2011. First, I take a look at the abstract to get a general overview of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... However, there is little research that provides a clear definition of what is meant by social support (Leahy Warren et el, 2009). In other words, there is no research which has measured the relationship between social support and maternal parental self efficacy using a domain specific instrument developed and supported by self efficacy model and post natal depression with first time mothers at six weeks post delivery (Leahy Warren et el, 2009) Maternal Parental Self Efficacy and Depression By now, some of you may be asking the same question that I had when I first started reading this article. What is meant by maternal parental self efficacy and post natal depression? It is important to understand these two definitions in order to understand the article. Maternal parental self efficacy is a belief that a parent holds about themselves in terms of being able to care for and parent a child (Leahy Warren et el, 2009). These includes the ability to plan, organize, and execute actions in order to produce the desire results with the belief that there is a strong correlation between the age of the mother and the number of children (Leah Warren et el, 2009). I can t help to think about my own experience as a mother as I read this article. I am a single mother of six children and I can say that my confidence grew more as I ... • 46. Experiences of World War One in All Quiet on the Western... Wars have always been events that I enjoy learning about, reading about and just discovering what went on. So when this project rolled around I had no problem choosing the novel All Quiet on the Western Front, which was written by Erich Maria Remarque. Erich had been a German soldier towards the end of WWI and had, first hand experienced the pure terror that is war. I had heard of this book through my father who is also a major war enthusiast. Him and I have had numerous conversations about both World War I and II, as he was the one that originally suggested I read this book. I have to say that it was a tremendous suggestion in that this novel to me seems to be one of the finest pieces of anti war literature ever penned. The way the novel is able to portray the mindset of a soldier was beautifully done and shows the complete deterioration that occurs over time. First to understand more about the novel and its author, Erich Maria Remarque, it would be helpful to learn about his life. Erich was born on June 22, 1898 (internet source 4) in the town of Osnabruck Germany. He was born into a poor family to his father, Peter Maria Kramer, and mother, Anna Marie Kramer (internet source 5). His father was a bookbinder while Erich was a kid (internet source 5). He also had 2 other siblings and his family as a whole moved at least 11 during his childhood. To say Erich had a turbulent childhood would be an understatement; he grew up in circumstances most people could not even begin ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 47. Yates Memorandum The memorandum written by Deputy Attorney General, Sally Quillian Yates represents a significant change in the government s approach toward corporate misconduct. The priority for prosecution will focus on individuals who commit the wrongdoing within the corporation and ensure that the responsible individuals are accountable for their misconduct. Under the Yates Memo, for companies to be considered eligible for any cooperation credit, the corporation is required to provide the Department of Justice with all relevant facts about an individuals involvement in the organizations misconduct. Thus, corporations may no longer have the option to determine what information about which employees can be disclosed to the prosecutors. As a matter of fact, ... The purpose of Dodd Frank Act is focused on restrictions on the banking sector; repealing Dodd Frank will enable the financial market to return to a more volatile state. Moreover, the purpose of the Volker Rule is to prohibit banks from proprietary trading and restrict banks investments in hedge funds and private equity funds to prevent banks from high risk trading activities. Therefore, from the lessons we all have learned during the 2008 financial crisis, we should not reduce government regulation in the financial sector. Instead, we should maintain our policies, continue to monitor the health of our economy, and prevent corporate misconduct. In addition, I will recommend Mr. Sessions continue to follow the Yates Memo to hold executive level individuals accountable for their misconduct. And I will also support Senator Warren s proposed 21st Century Class Steagall Act of 2017. This act will protect our economy by restricting the bank s ability to engage in high risk activities, reducing the size of too big to fail corporations, and minimizing the probability of government bailout. As one might be expected, my recommendation to Mr. Sessions will face a lot of setbacks. However, as a public servant, protect the law, maintain its fairness regardless the areas ...
