building industry has been experiencing

We happened to observe RECLA as an extraordinaire in

woman, Shruti with whom we sat down for a freewheeling
virtual conversation to prepare this narrative.
Shruti Gat is the founding head of the RECLA, who
has nurtured her brainchild with her in-depth industry

While the journey has been time-
consuming, we’ve successfully
established a notable presence in
the market. Despite encountering
challenging moments that tempted
us to quit, our persistence, hard
work, and patience have kept
us steadfast. After dedicating
approximately five years to
research, ventures, and business
activities, we are on the verge of
introducing the virtual ecosystem
crafted during this period.
The background story
Shruti Gat is a 28 year old young and dynamic
entrepreneurial leader. She has excelled in the field of
research, development, and industry infrastructure
development over a sustained period. She is a
mechanical engineering graduate with a fervour for
heavy machinery and its mechanism. Following her
strong instincts, she had an extensive and inspiring
journey of learning. She tried trying out different jobs &
businesses, before incepting Reclasteel by recognizing
the potential and an alignment in the steel construction
sector. Nonetheless, dodged various obstacles and
roadblocks to reach where she is today. To her, the
aspirations have always been high and focused no
matter what. Moreover, her dedication and resilience
are ceaseless no matter what that helped her build a
company with a whopping Rs.800 crore valuation that
is growing at an amazing 8x rate every year. And for the
future, the hopes are high too where they are all set to a
Billion Dollar valuation by 2025-26.
She always had an entrepreneurial fervor that helped her earn
money by trying out various options and made her aware of
customer psychology during an early age. After completing
engineering studies and gaining experience with Fiat India
automobiles, she explored her entrepreneurial potential by
diving into various businesses. The whole process allowed
her to seek something scalable and capable of adding value
to the market. Her experience till date made her perceive the
need for digital transformation and integrated platforms to
streamline fabrication industry processes. Diving into the
steel industry was her ultimate step to chase her dream of

Early Life
Jerome Allen Seinfeld, who would later become Jerry Seinfeld,
was born in Brooklyn, New York City. He was born on April
29, 1954. Jerry Seinfeld’s parents are Betty Hosni and Kalman
Seinfeld. His father Kalman was Hungarian-Jewish, and his
mother was Jewish as well. Betty was originally from Aleppo,
Syria. Due to the Ottoman Empire’s occupation of Syria,
the family had to declare themselves Turkish when they
immigrated in 1917. Kalman was well-known for the jokes he
collected during WWII.
Jerry Seinfeld attended Massapequa High School and grew up
in Massapequa, New York. He later became a volunteer for
Israel’s Kibbutz Sa’ar when he was 16 years old. He attended
the State University of New York at Oswego after graduating.
He transferred to Queens College, the City University of New
York, in his second year. He earned a bachelor’s degree in
theatre and communications from the university.
Seinfeld was already paying rent as a kid. He also liked to
listen to Bill Cosby albums. While following his father around,
Seinfeld would scribble down jokes. He used to grab any
opportunity to make people laugh. Seinfeld often messed
around with his classmates because he enjoyed seeing people
laugh at his jokes.
He didn’t go to any graduation parties after graduating from
college. Instead, he went to a local comedy club to celebrate,
where he made people laugh.
During his time at school, he gradually developed an interest
in stand-up comedy. While still attending Queens College, he
made a few appearances at Budd Friedman’s Improv Club
during open-mic nights.
Then, after graduating, Seinfeld attempted to attend an open-
mic night at New York City’s Catch a Rising Star. This earned
him a spot in an HBO special with Rodney Dangerfield. He
also had a small recurring role in Benson, a sitcom.
Career: How Did Jerry Seinfeld Get So
Rich?
After making a brief appearance in college performances,
Seinfeld’s passion for stand-up comedy intensified. He
performed at open-mic nights at Budd Friedman’s Improv
Club while being a student at Queens College. He gave an
open-mic audition at Catch a Rising Star in New York City
after graduating in 1976, and as a result landed a part in a
Rodney Dangerfield HBO special. In a small recurring role on
Benson in 1980, he played Frankie, a postal delivery kid with
hilarious routines that nobody wanted to hear. Seinfeld was
abruptly fired as a result of a disagreement over the aesthetic
direction of the programme.
When he showed up for a read-through session for an episode
and discovered there was no script for him, according to
Seinfeld, that is when he learned he had been fired. He gave a
stand-up performance on An Evening at the Improv in January
1981. Seinfeld first appeared on The Tonight Show Starring
Johnny Carson in May 1981. After impressing Carson and the
crowd, he went on to appear frequently on that programme
as well as others, such as Late Night with David Letterman.
His first live HBO broadcast, Stand-Up Confidential, lasted an
hour and aired on September 5, 1987.
He co-created the Seinfeld Chronicles with Larry David in
1988; it was later renamed Seindeld and became the most
watched sitcom on American television. Jerry Seinfeld claims
that the sitcom “The Abbott and Costello Show” had an
influence on the programme.
Jerry returned to New York City and pursued his passion for
stand-up comedy once the show Seinfeld was successfully
finished.

to promote American Express in 2004,
The Associated Press reported in August 2008 that Jerry
Seinfeld would be the face of Microsoft’s $300 million
advertising campaign for Windows Vista. The adverts, which
were meant to generate excitement for Windows in support
of the upcoming “I’m a PC” commercials, started running in
mid-September 2008. After three episodes, the Seinfeld ads
were pulled from television; instead, Microsoft decided to
keep running its “I’m a PC” commercials and post lengthier
versions of the Seinfeld spots on its website.
Seinfeld made several appearances in advertising for the
Greater Building Society in Australia. The Greater Building
Society is a building society with locations in New South
Wales and southeast Queensland.
Being the third time Seinfeld had appeared in a television
commercial, his appearance in these advertisements was
widely reported and was regarded as a victory for society.
Seinfeld began a YouTube series in 2012 called ‘Comedians
in Cars Getting Coffee’ in which he would pick up a different
comedian or celebrity every episode and drive them to a
coffee shop for a chat. The programme was first broadcast
on the streaming platform Crackle before being purchased
by Netflix. Season seven’s most famous guest was former
President Barack Obama.
Seinfeld said in a farewell video for the Obamas before the
President left office, “That knocking on the window of the Oval

Seinfeld met Jessica Sklar, a public relations manager for
Tommy Hilfiger, in August 1998 at a Reebok Sports Club.
She and her then-husband, theatre producer and scion of a
theater-owning family, Eric Nederlander, had just returned
from a three-week honeymoon in Italy.
Two months later she got divorced and continued dating
Seinfeld. Jessica Sklar became Jerry Seinfeld’s wife on
December 25, 1999. She has been Jerry Seinfeld’s first wife
and also current wife until now. Shepherd Kellen, 16, Julian
Kal, 19, are the couple’s sons and Sascha Seinfeld (21) is Jerry

the company and also shed some
light on her overall entrepreneurial
journey so far.
THE JOURNEY
My venture into business was
predestined. I grew up watching my
grandfathers and father establish
strong bases, and leave legacies in their
own rights. This inspired me to pave
my own business path, but the lessons
I learned just watching them have
been invaluable and guide me even
today. I found my niche by combining
these business lessons with what I
loved doing the most - traveling, and
encountering architectural wonders.
The last few years have been a
combination of early-morning site
visits, late-night meetings at the studio,
and days spent ideating with my
valuable team members. This schedule
requires me to be just as comfortable
in sturdy shoes, as I am in high heels.
Multi-tasking has become a way of life,
what with juggling my business with
my family, which includes a young
human watching my every move.
EDGE IN THE REALM
The industry I work in is very dynamic in nature. While it is important to understand design trends
and the ever-changing resources, it is equally important to understand the client’s needs and align
them both. I remember reading about the 4 R’s to steady oneself when on a tempestuous course -
Respect, Relevance, Resilience, and Responsiveness. These have been guiding lights in operating on a
regular basis to ensure the work delivered by my company is compatible with the client’s needs, while
never compromising on quality and efficacy.

Having established these guiding pillars, my company also prides itself on its versatility. We have designed homes as
small as 400 square feet, where the requirements weren’t as restricted as the space was, as well as a home as big as 18,000
square feet with lots of room, both literally as well as for experimentation. No matter the size and budget for a project, the
passion and precision that my company brings in are the same.
My personal goal is to ensure every space is designed with a story to tell, and I have often found the ability to do that
at home. These are walls that bring families together. We understand every individual and their preferences, as well as
what suits the entire family unit and design these spaces keeping both the individual as well as the collective unit in mind.
Over the last few years, we have worked on ensuring our work speaks for itself, and look forward to exceeding the client’s
expectations every step of the way.
SCALING THE SUCCESS METER
While homes remain close to my heart, we are always looking to write new ‘Stories’. These enable us to express our
creativity and evolve our ideas into spaces that speak volumes. We have worked on private homes, commercial spaces,
retail spaces, hospitality venues, clinics, farmhouses, and even tree houses, because spaces to play are integral to every
childhood story, and can be more than meets the eye. We have also worked on the set production of an Indo-Australian
movie and ventured into art direction. We take the extra step to ensure spaces meet our and the client’s ideas by creating
bespoke furniture, artifacts, wall art, carpets, and rugs.
Our ability to go the extra mile, combined with our tried and tested business practices, has enabled us to work with clients
across the world. We have also established a great working relationship with multiple national and international brands,
so our clients always enjoy the privilege of choice. Our ability to deliver on schedule, as well as what was promised,
ensures our clients are happy and fall in love with the spaces that go on to become integral parts of their lives.
While we have strong bonds with our existing brands, we constantly need to upskill in a field like design. Due to
developments in different parts of the world, it is our responsibility to be aware of newer and better materials from across
the world that could help us shape a space more efficiently. When clients come to us with a requirement, we ensure to
communicate the evolution of the processes and the materials that may be available since they may have previously
understood. We are constantly on the lookout for new materials, new finishes, innovative textures, and different ways of
combining the client’s needs with the best available material.
This also requires us to upskill technologically. Due to this, we have established a great rapport with vendors and suppliers
from across the globe, so new material reaches us as safely and conveniently as any other delivery. It is a time-consuming
process to understand new materials that come to be available, along with meeting regular deadlines. However, it is an
absolute necessity since Stories prides itself on creating spaces that will remain loved for long periods of time.
These qualities have sculpted Stories into a company that is brimming with passion. This flows down to every space that
we have worked on. We definitely are a company that is looking to make profits and establish our place in this industry.
However, what we enjoy most is working with clients who share our belief system - creating spaces that clients need and
love, with passion, quality, and timely service.
Our strong belief system does have its advantages since it ensures like-minded people come together for projects. However,
it does come with its own set of challenges. For example, the pandemic proved to be a deterrent for project visits, since we
were hesitant to take a potential client to another site. Safety and security are of utmost importance. It was also challenging
to meet new vendors or have them visit the studio. We used technology to solve most of our challenges. The pandemic
was definitely a testing time, but it did really set us up for firefighting, which I believe is a necessary skill for someone to
lead a company.
ORGANIZATIONAL VALUES
As a leader and businesswoman, I strive towards creating an inclusive and open workplace where ideas are welcome, and
execution is key. There are several distinctions that are made for women leaders. However, having grown up in a family
where business was everyday life, I believe gender and age play lesser roles when compared to the vision and the zeal that
a leader possesses. I don’t focus on being a woman leader. I focus on leading. In line with this, I have established a healthy
workspace as the foundation for creating the perfect spaces for clients.
We are steadily building Stories to be a one-stop shop for luxury interiors. While we have already created a niche for
ourselves in the interior design segment, we have expanded our horizons to include bespoke furniture and personalized
artwork that is done in-house. Since spaces are a reflection of the client’s personality and preferences, commissioned work
ensures we tie the project up with a personal touch.
PARTING WORDS
The road has definitely been a bumpy one for me, but I would recommend it to every young entrepreneur who wishes to
write a story for themselves in the world of business. As a working mother, I find a good support system, a team that shares
your passion, and never losing sight of your goal can be the basis of a very successful entrepreneurial journey. Write your

Revealing the facts about her past life and how she decided to
become an entrepreneur, Aparna states, “After completing my
HSC exams, I started working and continued without a break
until four days before my wedding. However, after getting
married, I found myself sitting idle at home, which was not in
line with my nature. At that time, My husband was already in
his own business of manufacturing of electrical and electronic
devices with a team of around 10 employees. I began going to
his office to learn about manufacturing and the office’s overall
operations. Gradually, I found the work intriguing, and I
unwittingly became a part of the team. Initially, I answered
phone calls, responded to client inquiries, and directed them
toward finalizing orders. I did this for almost a year. Then, in
the next phase, I learned how to identify components, perform
soldering, assembly, test, and procure materials from various
sources while negotiating prices. The final phase was the
most satisfying for me because I have always been passionate
about working in sales, and Project management. Currently,
my husband and I run an automation product manufacturing
industry spread across almost 40000 sq. ft., with advanced types
of machinery that employ over 100 people and an international
branch office in Singapore. We also have domestic branches
in several cities, including Thiruvananthapuram, Bangalore,
Kochi, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad.
Presently, I am engaged in managing all office activities,
including international business, corporate business, project
coordination, and more. I feel honored that with the support of
my entire team, we could deliver our solutions to the various
departments i.e. ISRO, HAL, DRDO, DRDL, BARC, NFC, BEL,
BHEL, Amazon, Reliance up to their satisfaction level. I am
thrilled to be leading this successful business.”

and hazardous. To ensure safety, she takes necessary
precautions, follows all safety guidelines, and advocates
for her staff to have access to proper safety equipment and

an organization can be challenging. To overcome this, she
actively seeks out training and development opportunities,
conducts feedback sessions, and organizes refreshing
activities, annual functions, and office tours to build
strong relationships and foster a friendly environment

Plan 1
Firstly, modify your weekly routine as per your
workload by estimating which day you will
have time, and which day is your off day so you

for your daily day to get more out of your day

Nowadays, there are many online workout or
yoga sessions available that ensure anyone can
get the total benefit by only clicking on the
video and just doing them as per the instruction.
Monday- 20 minutes weight training- lower body,
20 minutes cardio, 20 minutes yoga asana and
pranayama.
Tuesday - 20 minutes of weight training – upper body,
20 minutes full cardio and the last 20 minutes are for
yoga practice.
Wednesday – 1-hour continuous yoga practice with
full concentration and make sure posture needs to be
clean and sharp so that proper results will be obtained.
Thursday – 20 minutes is for lower body weight
training, 20 minutes of full body cardio and the
remaining 20 minutes for yoga practice.
Friday – 20 minutes is for upper bodyweight training,
20 minutes is for steady state cardio and 20 minutes
for yogic practice.
Saturday -Stay active for the full day and go for a
1-hour walk and you can do activities that you love
the most.
Sunday- Go for a walk for 30 minutes and then do some easy yoga poses
and pranayama. You can also list it as a rest day.

combination schedule
Always do your gym workout before doing yoga as it helps to warm up
the body so the body becomes more flexible to do stretching of muscles
and poses in yoga.
Before scheduling your whole day the thing that you have to keep it in
your mind is that your body is not a machine so with work and workouts
we need a proper hour of rest too which gives the body the time to repair
for the next day. As one day off from a workout is necessary but make
sure that you eat well and get a good night sleep so that your body gets a
proper recovery time all the bodybuilding materials will be well utilised
in the tissue of the body.
So for that reason try to make a balance between work and rest and space
a couple of days between weight training sessions so that over workout
would not result in injuries and do exercise of alternate body parts on an
alternate day like upper body part exercise on one day and lower body

He co-created and co-wrote the sitcom ‘Sein- feld’ with Larry David, where he played a fiction- alized version of himself and got famous for it. The programme, which aired on NBC from 1989 to 1998, rose to fame as one of the greatest and most well-liked sitcoms ever made. Seinfeld is a stand- up comedian who spe- cialises in observational humour. In 2004, Com- edy Central ranked him as the 12th best stand-up comic of all time. Jerry Seinfeld has an estimated net worth of $950 million as of January 2023. Early Life Jerome Allen Seinfeld, who would later become Jerry Seinfeld, was born in Brooklyn, New York City. He was born on April 29, 1954. Jerry Seinfeld’s parents are Betty Hosni and Kalman Seinfeld. His father Kalman was Hungarian-Jewish, and his mother was Jewish as well. The Founder & Design Principal of the company, Ms.Revathi Rao Gurram, shared numerous lesser-known facts about the company and also shed some light on her overall entrepreneurial journey so far. THE JOURNEY My venture into business was predestined. I grew up watching my grandfathers and father establish strong bases, and leave legacies in their own rights. This inspired me to pave my own business path, but the lessons I learned just watching them have been invaluable and guide me even today. I found my niche by combining these business lessons with what I loved doing the most - traveling, and encountering architectural wonders. The last few years have been a combination of early-morning site visits, late-night meetings at the studio, and days spent ideating with my valuable team members. This schedule requires me to be just as comfortable in sturdy shoes, as I am in high heels. Multi-tasking has become a way of life, what with juggling my business with my family, which includes a young human watching my every move. EDGE IN THE REALM The industry I work in is very dynamic in nature. While it is important to understand design trends and the ever-changing resources, it is equally important to understand the client’s needs and align them both. I remember reading about the 4 R’s to steady oneself when on a tempestuous course - Respect, Relevance, Resilience, and Responsiveness. These have been guiding lights in operating on a regular basis to ensure the work delivered by my company is compatible with the client’s needs, while never compromising on quality and efficacy. Revathi Gurram Founder Having established these guiding pillars, my company also prides itself on its versatility. We have designed homes as small as 400 square feet, where the requirements weren’t as restricted as the space was, as well as a home as big as 18,000 square feet with lots of room, both literally as well as for experimentation. No matter the size and budget for a project, the passion and precision that my company brings in are the same. My personal goal is to ensure every space is designed with a story to tell, and I have often found the ability to do that at home. These are walls that bring families together. We understand every individual and their preferences, as well as what suits the entire family unit and design these spaces keeping both the individual as well as the collective unit in mind. Our ability to go the extra mile, combined with our tried and tested business practices, has enabled us to work with clients across the world. We have also established a great working relationship with multiple national and international brands, so our clients always enjoy the privilege of choice. While we have strong bonds with our existing brands, we constantly need to upskill in a field like design. We are constantly on the lookout for new materials, new finishes, innovative textures, and different ways of combining the client’s needs with the best available material. This also requires us to upskill technologically. Due to this, we have established a great rapport with vendors and suppliers from across the globe, so new material reaches us as safely and conveniently as any other delivery. The pandemic was definitely a testing time, but it did really set us up for firefighting, which I believe is a necessary skill for someone to lead a company. There are several distinctions that are made for women leaders. However, having grown up in a family where business was everyday life, I believe gender and age play lesser roles when compared to the vision and the zeal that a leader possesses.
